  • Women Born to Lead Business: Unlock Your Femmepreneur Power

Running a Business Like a Household: Why Women Were Born to Lead Let's have a real chat, shall we? Ever feel like running a business & running a household have more in common than anyone cares to admit? I mean, between juggling schedules, managing resources (whether it’s the monthly budget or office supplies), & constantly putting out fires (sometimes literally, if my toddler has gotten hold of the felt tips again), it’s like one big, beautiful, chaotic management masterclass. And guess what? We women, we’re practically pros at this. Honestly, who else could keep track of it all?! For years, the business world has operated under this outdated idea of male dominance, like some sort of exclusive boys’ club. But the reality is, the skills we hone every single day at home—the multitasking, the nurturing, the long-term vision—these aren’t “soft skills,” they’re essential leadership qualities. They’re the very things that make businesses thrive. It’s like that saying, “If you want something done, ask a busy woman”—& honestly, there’s so much truth to that! You know that feeling, right? When you’ve got approximately 1.7 seconds to make something happen?! Businesses owned & operated by women have a higher staff retention rate & provide a better return on investment than their male counterparts. A 2019 Boston Consulting Group study found that businesses founded by women ultimately delivered more revenue per dollar invested. In my own research on Black female entrepreneurship, I'm consistently seeing this theme of resourcefulness & community building as a driver of success. For example, one entrepreneur I interviewed bootstrapped her entire e-commerce business while single-handedly raising three children, demonstrating incredible resilience & a laser focus on making every penny count – a true testament to the power of Focus when resources are limited. I've also seen this firsthand in my corporate experience at Apple, where the female-led teams I worked with consistently outperformed others in terms of both innovation & team cohesion. Women tend to prioritize building strong relationships, fostering a supportive environment, & nurturing talent—all things that contribute to a happier, more productive team. And happy teams? They deliver better results. Beyond the Myth of "Career Sacrifice" for Female Entrepreneurs So often, we’re told that pursuing a career, especially as mothers, is a “sacrifice.” But what if we flipped that script? What if building a business isn’t about sacrificing your life, but about designing a life you actually love? A life where you’re in control, you’re making an impact, & you’re building something meaningful. It’s not about conforming; it’s about creating. I know the juggle is real. Trust me, I get it. Just last week, I missed my teenage daughter's school play because I was stuck in a last-minute client meeting. The guilt was real, but it reminded me why I'm building this business - to create a more flexible life for myself and my family. I’m navigating building my business while also doing my PhD & raising four beautiful, spirited children (and two equally spirited miniature pinschers!). I remember one morning, I was running around with one eyeliner on because I was trying to clean felt tip pen off the carpet, after a "sensory play" session gone wrong with my toddler. There are days when I feel like I’m running on fumes & dry shampoo, fuelled by endless cups of tea. There are also days when the weight of it all feels crushing, like I'm drowning in to-do lists and self-doubt. One particularly tough week, after a sleepless night with the baby & a series of unexpected client emergencies, I felt completely overwhelmed. I almost gave up. But then I remembered my "why"—the vision of the life I'm creating—& I took a step back, prioritized my Fuel (a long bath & an early night!), and refocused on the next, smallest viable step. It’s a windy path, this entrepreneurial journey, but taking those small, intentional steps is what keeps us moving forward. It can feel like I am being pulled in a thousand different directions at once. But hey, I’m still here, still learning, still open to new possibilities. But I’m not complaining! Because even amidst the chaos, I wouldn’t trade this for the world. Building Femmeprenista has given me something that no corporate job ever could: true autonomy, deep fulfillment, & the ability to shape my own destiny & legacy. And that, to me, is priceless. It’s about building a life, not just a career. That being said, I know that building a life & legacy sounds great, but sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. Connecting with like-minded women who understand the juggle is invaluable. You can find your tribe – a place to share your wins, vent your frustrations, & get practical Flow tips – in our free Femme:Connect community . Navigating Societal Pressures & Finding Your Tribe as a Female Entrepreneur Let’s be honest, societal expectations can be a real pain. We’re expected to be supermums, successful businesswomen, perfect partners, & somehow have it all together, all the time. It’s exhausting just thinking about it! It can feel incredibly lonely too. And honestly, sometimes it feels like you are failing at all of the above! I know that feeling well. But you’re not alone. So many women are navigating this same crazy, beautiful journey. Finding your tribe, your community of like-minded women who “get it,” is essential. Embracing Your Entrepreneurial Superpowers as a Female Entrepreneur The truth is, we women are uniquely equipped for the challenges of today’s business world. Our ability to connect authentically, our intuition, our focus on long-term growth—these are the very qualities that build loyal teams, attract clients, & generate sustainable success. So let’s ditch the outdated paradigms & embrace our entrepreneurial potential. Remember, “You are the designer of your destiny. You are the author of your story.” (Michelle Obama) Building a business isn’t always easy. There will be setbacks, challenges, & moments of doubt. But remember this: you are capable of more than you think. You have the strength, the resilience, & the resourcefulness to navigate anything that comes your way. 3 Steps to Owning Your Journey as a Female Entrepreneur: Identify Your Core Value: What’s the one non-negotiable principle that drives you & your business? Is it freedom, creativity, impact, or something else entirely? For me, it’s about empowering women to find their voice & build businesses that truly Fuel their lives, not consume them. Define Success on Your Terms: Forget external measures. What does success genuinely mean to you, based on your core value? Does it mean spending more time with your family, having the freedom to travel, or making a tangible difference in your community? For instance, my definition of success includes building a business that allows me to be present for my children’s “pottery cup” moments, even while pursuing my PhD research. Take Action Aligned with Your Values: Now, break down your vision into small, achievable steps. What three actions can you take today that align with your values & move you closer to your definition of success? Maybe it’s scheduling dedicated Flow time for business planning, joining our free Femme:Connect community for support & connection, or finally investing in that coaching program that has been calling to you. Remember, even small steps create momentum, so start where you are and trust the process. • Online Course Creation for Moms: Launch a Profitable Course

From Expertise to Empire: Crafting & Launching Your Profitable Online Course (Even with Little Ones Underfoot!) Right, let's be honest. The thought of creating and launching an online course can feel a bit like trying to deliver a flawless webinar while simultaneously preventing a toddler from using your white wall as a canvas and answering urgent client emails – all while the dog decides your new rug is the perfect chew toy. Overwhelming, much? You’re envisioning endless tech hurdles, marketing madness, and that unique symphony of household noises playing in the background of your recording sessions. You know that feeling, don't you? Believe me, I so get it. I'm navigating PhD research, running multiple businesses, and wrangling four little ones (plus two energetic Miniature Pinschers who consider every client call a personal invitation to showcase their operatic barking skills). It's a beautiful, chaotic tapestry, this life of ours, but it's mine , and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Just yesterday, I was trying to record a welcome video for a new program – the kind where you’re aiming for serene professionalism, right? – and my infant son decided my hair was the perfect teething toy. Let's just say there were a few outtakes! So, how do you transition from that chaotic reality to launching a profitable online course? How do you create & launch a course that generates consistent income without losing your mind or resorting to round-the-clock hustle? Simple: work smarter , not just harder. It’s about strategically structuring your offer, drawing on your existing wisdom, and implementing efficient systems (with a sprinkle of AI magic) to streamline the entire process – all while designing a business – and a life – that truly fits your unique and beautiful chaos. This post is your compass, your step-by-step guide through the often-overwhelming landscape of Online Course Creation for Moms: Launch a Profitable Course . We’ll dissect the process into bite-sized, manageable steps, banish the tech demons, and empower you to confidently share your brilliance with the world – all while navigating the everyday realities of modern motherhood and business building. Unearthing Your Goldmine: Turning Your Expertise into a Profitable Offer More often than not, the seeds of your most profitable course ideas are hidden in plain sight. They're nestled within the everyday questions you answer effortlessly, the challenges you solve almost instinctively for others, and the subjects you’re genuinely passionate about. That, my friend, is your goldmine. That's the very essence of an irresistible offer, one that people will not only value but also invest in. It’s like unearthing a treasure chest of knowledge you already possess. Think about it this way: My research into Black female entrepreneurship constantly highlights a common struggle – the challenge of seamlessly integrating AI into existing businesses, especially when you're not a tech whiz. Sound familiar? Coupled with my own whirlwind experience of navigating the ever-evolving tech landscape while building multiple businesses and raising a family, this insight inspired me to create specific programs and done-for-you services within Femmeprenista. These offerings address that very need, guiding women through the tech maze with practical, accessible strategies. It's all about transforming everyday hurdles – the very challenges you conquer daily – into high-value solutions that empower others. Just like Wrigley’s originally sold soap & gave away baking powder (before pivoting to baking powder & free chewing gum, then realizing – finally! – that chewing gum was their golden ticket). What seemingly “small” problem are you already solving brilliantly? What’s your "chewing gum"? What unique insight or deceptively simple solution makes your expertise not just valuable, but truly transformative ? Structuring Your Course: Creating a Transformational Learning Journey (and Avoiding Overwhelm!) Creating a high-impact course isn't just about downloading information; it’s about crafting a compelling learning experience that keeps your students hooked. It’s about taking them on a journey – one that's engaging, insightful, and delivers tangible results they can celebrate. Here's your blueprint for creating a truly unforgettable learning experience: • • Modular Magic: The Power of Bite-Sized Learning: Break down your course content into short, focused modules that fit seamlessly into even the busiest of schedules. This is especially crucial for your ideal client – the ambitious woman juggling multiple demands. Think of it as curating a playlist of learning – short, focused tracks that build upon each other to create a transformative symphony. • • Engagement is Key: Ignite Their Curiosity: Incorporate interactive elements that make learning fun & foster a vibrant sense of community. Quizzes, downloadable resources, live Q&A sessions, and even a dedicated community space (like our Femme Connect ) can transform passive learners into active participants. Remember, a truly engaging learning experience is one that sparks curiosity, encourages interaction, and fosters genuine connection. • • Deliver Tangible Results: Focus on Transformation: What’s the one significant transformation your course offers? Ensure every module contributes to that outcome. It’s not enough to simply teach; you must empower. Equip your students with actionable strategies and tools they can use immediately to create real, measurable change in their lives. Ask yourself: What’s the key takeaway? What's the one thing they'll be able to do differently after completing this module? That's where the true value lies. AI & Automation: Streamlining Your Launch & Reclaiming Your Time AI & automation. It’s not just about robots taking over (though, wouldn't a robot nanny be a dream come true sometimes?! Just kidding… mostly!). Think of these tools as your strategic allies, your behind-the-scenes support team, freeing you to focus on what you do best: pouring your energy into the transformative content that makes your course truly exceptional. These smart systems are the secret to streamlining your launch process & reclaiming precious time – the kind of time you might currently spend wrangling toddlers, mediating sibling disputes, or deciphering your teenager's latest cryptic text message. Here’s how to leverage the power of AI & automation: • • Content Creation Powerhouse: Imagine having a super-efficient assistant to help you brainstorm course outlines, create compelling marketing copy (headlines, social media posts, email newsletters – the whole shebang!), and even generate a first draft of your video scripts. While nothing replaces your authentic voice and unique insights (that’s what makes your course so special!), AI can be invaluable for sparking ideas, getting past writer's block, and saving precious time on those more tedious, repetitive tasks. I often use it to whip up blog post ideas or quickly summarise key research findings – like having a research gremlin working tirelessly in the background! • • Marketing Maestro: Targeted ads, automated social media posting, personalized email campaigns – AI-powered marketing tools are your secret weapon for reaching your ideal client, building buzz, and streamlining your entire marketing strategy. Imagine this: while you're enjoying quality time with your kids (or sneaking in a well-deserved nap!), your AI marketing assistant is working tirelessly behind the scenes, segmenting your audience, scheduling engaging posts, analyzing campaign performance, and even sending personalized welcome emails to new subscribers. It’s like having a tireless marketing ninja on your team. • • Streamlined Systems: Client onboarding, payment processing, course delivery – AI and smart systems can automate these essential tasks, freeing you from manual processes and potential tech overwhelm. Imagine having a dedicated virtual assistant working 24/7 to handle the logistical heavy lifting. Simple automations – like setting up a welcome email sequence for new subscribers or automating appointment scheduling – can reclaim hours each week, giving you back the time and mental space to focus on what truly matters: creating a transformative learning experience for your students. Still feeling a bit overwhelmed by the tech side of things? No worries – you're so not alone. If you’re a Foundation Builder looking for a structured, supportive environment to nurture your course idea and build a rock-solid business foundation, our Explore the Spark Program is designed precisely for you. It’s the perfect launchpad for transforming your brilliance into a profitable online course. And, if you're ready to dive in and launch now , our Launch Programme, a comprehensive 12-week online group implementation accelerator, will guide you through every step of the process, from setting up essential systems to enrolling your first paying clients. Mindset Matters: Conquering Your Inner Critic & Stepping into Your Power Okay, let's talk about the inner critic, shall we? That voice that whispers (or sometimes shouts!) doubts like, "Who am I to teach this?", "What if nobody buys my course?", "I'm not tech-savvy enough to do this!" Trust me, I know that voice intimately . I remember the sheer panic I felt when I first attempted to launch my own online program, years ago. I’d meticulously crafted the content, poured my heart into every module, even stayed up late recording videos after the kids were asleep (with the faint but persistent sound of Dora the Explorer playing in the background, naturally!). I thought I was so ready. Then launch day arrived… and my carefully planned sales page generated a grand total of two sales. It felt like a punch to the gut. My confidence plummeted, and that inner critic had a field day. It turned out my marketing message was all wrong. I was so focused on the features of my program that I forgot to speak to the transformation it offered, the deeper why that resonated with my ideal client. Lesson learned (the hard way!): Connect with the heart, not just the head. But here’s the real truth: You are enough . Your expertise is valuable. And you can do this – even with the beautiful chaos of life swirling around you. So, how do you conquer those inner demons and step into the radiant power of your expertise? Here’s your action plan: • • Reframe Your Narrative: From Fear to Opportunity: Is visibility scary? Or is it a powerful opportunity to connect with the women who are desperately seeking your unique brilliance? Is tech overwhelming? Or is it simply a set of tools waiting to be mastered, one small step at a time? Remember, the stories you tell yourself shape your reality. Choose empowering narratives that fuel your journey, not ones that hold you back. • • Connect to Your "Why": Fuel Your Passion: Why does this course matter? What positive impact will it have on the lives of your students? What change do you want to create in the world? Connecting to your core purpose is like adding rocket fuel to your entrepreneurial engine – it ignites your passion, clarifies your message, and propels you forward even when the going gets tough. As Simon Sinek wisely said, "People don't buy WHAT you do; they buy WHY you do it.” • • Embrace Small, Smart Steps: The Power of Progress: Break down those seemingly insurmountable tasks into manageable, bite-sized actions. What’s one small, doable step you can take today to move closer to your course creation dream? Celebrate every win, no matter how small. It’s the consistent, intentional steps – like the tortoise in the race – that lead to big, beautiful transformations. • • Find Your Tribe: Embrace Community & Connection: Connect with other women who get it. Share your struggles, celebrate your triumphs, ask “silly” questions (we all have them!), and build a supportive network that will lift you up, cheer you on, and remind you of your brilliance – especially when that inner critic starts whispering doubts. Our free Join Our Femme:Connect Community is the perfect place to find your tribe. It's a warm, welcoming space for authentic networking, peer support, and valuable resources (from masterclasses on client attraction to templates that save you precious time) – all designed to empower you to build a thriving business and a life you truly love. Ready to Share Your Brilliance & Build Your Empire? Creating & launching your profitable online course is not a distant dream; it’s a completely achievable goal, one small step at a time. It's about sharing your wisdom, empowering other women, creating a positive ripple effect in the world, and generating consistent income that fuels your dreams. What's your first step? P.S. If you’re itching to get started but feeling a little lost in the tech wilderness, our Done-For-You Get Your Ready-to-Launch Kit will get your online business foundation up & running in just 60 days – website, branding, essential systems, and even AI assistant setup – leaving you free to focus on your zone of genius. • Future Coaching Female Entrepreneurs: Thrive in 2025

The Future of Coaching is Here: What Ambitious Female Entrepreneurs (Especially Mothers) MUST Know to Thrive in 2025 & Beyond Ever feel like the world of business coaching is a bit like a giant, noisy sweet shop? So many bright, shiny options, all promising to be the one that will finally help you crack the code to that next level of success. If you’re nodding along, you’re not alone! As an entrepreneur, and especially as a mother juggling what feels like a thousand & one things, choosing the right support isn’t just a nice-to-have; it’s absolutely critical. Wasting time (& precious cash!) on outdated, one-size-fits-all coaching? Nobody has the bandwidth for that. The good news? The coaching industry is undergoing a pretty exciting transformation. It’s growing, yes – in fact, the market size & the number of practitioners are hitting all-time highs. But more importantly, it’s evolving. It’s getting smarter, more tailored, & far more in tune with what truly ambitious women like us actually need to build businesses that not only flourish financially but also feed our souls & fit into our real, beautifully chaotic lives. So, what does this "future of coaching" look like, & how can you, as a savvy female entrepreneur, leverage these shifts to ensure you’re getting support that genuinely propels you forward in 2025 & beyond? Let’s dive in, because understanding these changes is the first step to making truly empowered decisions. Coaching Isn't What It Used to Be (Thank Goodness!) Remember when coaching often felt like a series of pep talks & generic strategy sessions? Honestly, while well-intentioned, that approach often missed the mark for those of us navigating the complex realities of building a business, often with children in tow. Just last week, I felt the familiar pang of overwhelm when a well-meaning but generic piece of advice left me feeling more confused than empowered! The landscape is shifting, moving far beyond basic accountability & into a realm of truly transformative partnership. We’re seeing a move away from the old "hustle harder" paradigms towards more sustainable, holistic, & frankly, smarter ways of working. So, what are these game-changing trends? Trend #1: The Rise of the Machines? Not Quite – It's AI as Your Personalised Power-Up! Okay, let’s get this one out of the way first. When we talk about Artificial Intelligence in coaching, we’re not talking about robo-coaches replacing human connection – far from it! Instead, think of AI as an incredibly intelligent assistant, working behind the scenes to make your coaching experience more efficient, personalized, & responsive. In fact, the AI coaching market is projected to reach \$1.4 Billion by 2027, showcasing its rapid growth & integration! We're seeing AI-powered platforms that can curate resources specifically for your needs, offer personalized recommendations, provide real-time feedback on certain tasks, & even offer support 24/7 for those burning questions that pop up when your human coach is (rightfully!) offline. Some innovative approaches are even exploring virtual reality & gamification to make learning & development more engaging. What this means for YOU, especially if you’re a busy mum: Imagine having access to a library of tailored resources whenever you have a spare 20 minutes between school runs, or getting instant clarification on a concept without waiting for your next session. This kind of intelligently fused technology & human expertise means more flexible support that fits your schedule, not the other way around. It’s about creating truly streamlined processes that give you back precious time & energy – something I know is like gold dust when you're building an empire & raising a family. It’s about making sure the systems supporting you are as smart & efficient as the ones you want to build in your own business. Trend #2: Finding Your Unicorn – The Power of Hyper-Specialization The days of the generalist "life coach" or "business coach" who tries to be all things to all people are numbered. One of the strongest trends we're seeing is a move towards hyper-specialization. Think coaches who focus exclusively on executive leadership for female founders in tech, or career transition for working mothers, or even sales coaching for service-based businesses in a particular niche. What this means for YOU: This is brilliant news! It means you can find a coach who doesn't just understand business principles, but deeply understands your specific industry, your unique challenges (hello, 12 weeks of school holidays!), & your particular aspirations. It’s like finding that one person who just gets it, without you having to spend hours explaining the nuances of your world. When a coach has true flair & expertise in the precise area you need help with, the insights are more targeted, the strategies are more relevant, & the results are often much faster. No more sifting through generic advice hoping something sticks! Trend #3: Beyond Business Tactics – The Embrace of Holistic Wellbeing This one truly makes my heart sing. For so long, the focus in business coaching was purely on strategy & tactics. But what about the incredible woman running the business? The future of coaching recognizes that your mental, emotional, & physical wellbeing are not just 'nice-to-haves'; they are the very fuel for your success. We're seeing a powerful intertwining of coaching with mental health & wellness. Coaches are increasingly trained in building resilience, managing stress effectively, & even employing trauma-informed practices. There's a growing recognition of coaching's role in addressing burnout & proactively promoting overall well-being. It’s about ensuring your business energises you rather than drains you, a principle I hold dear from my own experiences, particularly juggling my MBA studies with a new baby – a time when I truly learned that strategy alone isn't enough if your personal tank is empty. It’s really funny, because I was trying to do all the things, all the study with the kids, & you can’t pour from an empty cup, right? What this means for YOU: This is a game-changer for ambitious female entrepreneurs, especially mothers. It means finding support that acknowledges the unique pressures you face, the mental load you carry, & the critical need to prioritize your own energy. A coach who understands this won't just help you build a marketing funnel; they'll help you: Build a business that supports your life. Foster your resilience so you can navigate the inevitable ups & downs. Cultivate the clarity & unwavering self-belief needed to lead with confidence. This kind of support understands that your success is about your whole self, not just your bottom line. Trend #4: Embracing Our Diverse Realities – DEI & Global Reach The coaching world is also becoming more conscious & connected. There's a much-needed strong emphasis on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI), with coaches helping individuals & organizations foster more inclusive cultures & support diverse leadership. For example, more coaching programs are specifically designed for women of color, addressing the unique challenges they face in entrepreneurship. Many coaching practices are also incorporating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into their ethos. This means a greater understanding & acknowledgement of different journeys & challenges. It opens the door to finding coaches who resonate with your specific values & background. DEI promotes a more equitable & supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem. Alongside this, the shift to remote & hybrid working models means virtual coaching sessions are now the norm, not the exception. This has massively expanded coaching's reach, allowing you to connect with the perfect coach for you, regardless of geographical boundaries. Virtual coaching offers incredible flexibility, fitting into even the busiest schedules. It removes geographical limitations, expanding access to specialized expertise worldwide. This helps facilitate a truly global network of support & collaboration. What this means for YOU: This opens up a world of possibilities! You can find coaches who truly understand & resonate with your specific background, experiences, & values. As someone currently researching Black female entrepreneurship for my PhD, I know firsthand how crucial it is to have support that acknowledges & navigates diverse journeys. & the rise of virtual coaching means you're no longer limited to coaches in your local area. You can access world-class expertise from someone who truly specialises in what you need, all from the comfort of your (probably wonderfully chaotic) home office. So, How Do You Ride This Wave? Empowered Choices for Transformative Support Knowing these trends is one thing; using them to make smart choices is another. Here’s how you can ensure your investment in coaching leads to genuine transformation: Your 4-Step Actionable Checklist: AI Integration: Ask potential coaches how they use technology to enhance your experience. Are there tools for personalised resource delivery, progress tracking, or flexible communication? For example, do they use AI to create customized content plans, or provide smart summaries of your progress, freeing up time for focused action? Hyper-Specialization: Drill down beyond generic titles. What specific results do they help clients achieve? Do they have experience with businesses like yours, or entrepreneurs with similar life circumstances (e.g., mothers)? For instance, does a coach specialize in helping service providers scale to \$10k months, or guide first-time founders through idea validation with paying clients? Wellbeing & Mindset: Probe their approach to your mental & emotional resilience. Do they go beyond surface-level motivation to help you build sustainable energy & an unshakeable belief in yourself? Does their philosophy resonate with a holistic view of success? Do they offer practical techniques for managing stress amidst school holidays, or tools for overcoming imposter syndrome when scaling to the next level? Flexibility & Inclusivity: Confirm they offer virtual sessions that fit your lifestyle & that their language & approach reflect an understanding & valuing of diverse experiences. Taking personal responsibility for vetting & choosing your support is key. It’s about understanding that the right coaching relationship is a partnership, & these evolving trends empower you to find a partner who is truly equipped for where you want to go. At Femmeprenista, our entire Business Flourish Framework is built on these forward-thinking principles – integrating smart systems, prioritizing your energy, sharpening your focus, amplifying your unique flair, & yes, strategically fusing technology to support it all. A Note for Service-Based Queens: These Trends Are Your Future Too! If you’re a coach, consultant, or service provider yourself, these trends aren't just for choosing support; they're crucial insights for shaping your own offerings. How can you incorporate AI to better serve your clients? Could you niche down further to attract your absolute dream clients? How can you embed a deeper focus on wellbeing into your services? Anticipating & adapting to these shifts will make your own venture more impactful & future-proof. The Future is Bright (& Expertly Coached!) The evolution of coaching is incredibly exciting. It’s becoming more sophisticated, more personalized, & more deeply attuned to the real needs of ambitious women like you. By understanding these shifts, you can move beyond the noise & make discerning choices that lead to truly transformative support – support that helps you build a thriving business & a life you genuinely love, without sacrificing your sanity or your family time. The power is in your hands to leverage these advancements. So, go forth, ask the right questions, & find the coaching partner who will help you soar in 2025 & far beyond! • Executive Coaching for Women CEOs: Unlock Your Legacy

Beyond the Glass Ceiling: Why Executive Leadership Coaching is a Strategic Imperative for Ambitious Women CEOs – A CEO-to-CEO Perspective You’ve done it. You’ve shattered ceilings, built an incredible business, & you’re leading from the front. You are the visionary, the driving force, the CEO. & honestly, from one CEO to another, bravo. It’s no small feat, especially in a world that still often feels like it was designed by, & for, someone else. But let’s be truly honest, shall we? Just between us. Reaching the top, becoming that "Visionary Leader" doesn't magically erase all challenges. At Femmeprenista, we understand this shared journey intimately & believe that reaching new heights often unveils a whole new landscape of challenges – ones that are rarely discussed in hushed tones, let alone in the boardroom. If you’re curious about the different stages of the entrepreneurial journey, keep reading. As a fellow CEO, a PhD researcher deep in the world of female entrepreneurship, & a mum to four – yes, four! – I’ve navigated my own share of dizzying heights & complex terrains. & what I’ve learned, both through my own journey & in guiding other exceptional women leaders, is that the air at the apex can be incredibly thin, & the path forward, while exhilarating, demands a unique kind of support. Executive coaching for women CEOs is a strategic imperative, with studies showing that women who engage executive coaching are more likely to increase their firms’ profitability. The Unspoken Realities: Navigating the Unique Challenges at the CEO Summit Once you’re at the helm of a significant enterprise, the nature of your challenges shifts. It’s no longer about getting the business off the ground, or even about scaling in those initial, frantic stages. It’s about something more… nuanced. The Profound Sense of Isolation: It’s often said that it’s lonely at the top, & darling, for women, this can feel exponentially true. Finding genuine peers who truly understand the unique blend of pressures, responsibilities, & even the sometimes-uncomfortable public visibility you’re navigating can be incredibly difficult. That safe space to be vulnerable, to voice the uncertainties that still crop up (yes, even for us!), can feel like searching for a unicorn. Next-Level Mindset Labyrinths: You’ve conquered so many mindset hurdles to get here. But what about the new ones that emerge with significant success? The complexities of managing substantial wealth, the responsibility of a larger team looking to you for vision, the public profile that comes with being a prominent female leader – these can trigger fresh waves of self-doubt or internal conflict that require a new level of mental & emotional mastery. It’s about ensuring your inner game keeps pace with your external achievements. The Weight of Expectation (& the Internal Critic): As a woman CEO, the spotlight often feels brighter, the scrutiny more intense. There’s often an unspoken pressure to be twice as good, twice as resilient. & let’s not forget our own internal critics, who can find new material to work with even when we’re achieving incredible things. Learning to navigate this with grace, authenticity, & unshakeable self-belief is an ongoing practice. Sustaining Peak Performance (Without Sacrificing Yourself): The stakes are high. Your energy, your clarity, your strategic thinking – they are premium assets. But how do you sustain that peak performance day in, day out, without burning out or losing connection with the other vital parts of your life? This isn't just about time management; it's about holistically nurturing your well-being so you can continue to lead with vitality & vision. Honestly, as a mum of four – & someone deep in PhD research – I know this juggle intimately – the constant dance between immense professional responsibility & the deep desire to be present for my family. I’m sure you know the feeling, right? About Carlene Nisbett / Our Founder I'll be honest, there have been times when I've felt incredibly isolated, questioning every decision. It's in those moments that having that strategic ally becomes invaluable. These aren’t signs of weakness; they are the hallmarks of a leader operating at an elite level, pushing boundaries, & striving for more. & it’s precisely because you’re already so accomplished that the right kind of strategic partnership becomes not a remedial fix, but a powerful accelerator. Coaching for CEOs: It’s Not About Fixing, It’s About Amplifying Your Visionary Impact Let’s bust a myth right here: executive leadership coaching for a woman CEO isn’t about someone coming in to tell you what you’re doing “wrong.” Far from it. You’re already brilliant. Instead, think of it as a strategic alliance with a fellow expert who can provide an objective, insightful perspective to help you unlock your next level of impact & genius. It’s about: Accelerating Your Visionary Impact: You have a grand vision for your company, for your legacy. Coaching helps you refine that vision, stress-test your strategies, & identify the clearest, most powerful path to bring it to life even faster & more effectively. Proactively Owning Your Continued Evolution: The most successful leaders I know are committed lifelong learners. They understand that growth is a constant. Coaching provides a dedicated space to proactively manage your evolution as a leader, to anticipate challenges, & to continuously sharpen your strategic toolkit. Optimising Your Ecosystem: This isn't just about you; it's about the ecosystem you lead. It's about ensuring your teams are high-performing, your operational systems are streamlined & robust (perhaps even leveraging intelligent automation where it makes sense, & we can support you in identifying those opportunities), & that every part of your business is aligned with your core vision & values. This is about moving from already-successful to truly iconic, from impactful to legacy-building. The Power of a Bespoke Blueprint: Why Generic Coaching Falls Short When you’re operating at the CEO level, a one-size-fits-all coaching approach simply won’t cut it. The challenges are too unique, the stakes too high. You need a partner who understands the specific nuances of being a woman at the helm. Ever feel like you’re the tortoise in a race full of hares? Me too, sometimes! & that’s okay – as long as you keep moving. This is where a holistic, tailored approach becomes paramount. This means coaching that integrates business excellence with personal fulfilment, is empathetic to your specific journey, & empowers you to lead authentically & sustainably. One of our clients, after implementing tailored coaching strategies, shared: "Before coaching, I was stuck at 7-figures & felt completely overwhelmed. Now, I'm confidently leading my team toward 8-figures & I finally have time for my family again!" For a woman CEO, this means coaching that: Integrates Business Excellence with Personal Fulfilment: It’s not an either/or. Your business success should fuel your personal joy, & your personal well-being should amplify your professional impact. Is Empathetic to Your Specific Journey: It considers your unique pressures, your responsibilities both in & out of the boardroom, & the emotional landscape you navigate. Empowers You to Lead Authentically & Sustainably: It’s about equipping you to lead in a way that is true to your values, your strengths, & your vision, ensuring you can sustain your energy & passion for the long haul. This isn't just about strategy sessions; it's about creating a strategic life design where your business is a powerful engine for both impact & deep personal satisfaction. We understand the whole woman, the whole entrepreneur. Our methodology weaves together critical pillars like sharpening your mindset & focus, developing authentic branding & marketing that has real flair, implementing streamlined systems for effortless flow, prioritising your well-being to fuel your journey, & strategically integrating AI to fuse it all together for amplified results. This holistic approach helps you thrive in all areas of your life. Unlocking Your Next Level of Legacy & Liberty So, what does this kind of strategic executive coaching really unlock for you, the accomplished woman CEO? It’s about translating your hard-won success into an enduring legacy, one that extends far beyond quarterly profits. It’s about optimising your business so that it not only scales its impact but also grants you greater personal freedom – freedom to innovate, to mentor, to explore new passions, or simply to be more present with loved ones. It’s about continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible, without succumbing to the burnout that can so easily creep in at this level. It’s about fostering an even deeper sense of agency, knowing you have the strategic clarity & unwavering support to make bold moves & navigate any storm. This is about ensuring that the view from the top is not just sustainable, but truly magnificent – a platform from which you can launch your most ambitious dreams yet. Here's a 3-step actionable checklist to unlock your next level of legacy & liberty: Define Your Legacy Pillars: Identify the core values & impact you want your business to leave behind. What do you want to be known for? Automate a Key Process: Free up your time by automating one time-consuming task in your business using AI or other tools. Delegate a Time-Consuming Task: Identify a task that consistently drains your energy & delegate it to a trusted team member. A CEO-to-CEO Invitation As someone who lives & breathes the entrepreneurial journey, who understands the immense privilege & profound responsibility of leadership, & who is deeply committed to seeing women like you soar even higher, I believe passionately in the transformative power of the right strategic partnership. It’s not about needing fixing. It’s about choosing to be even more formidable. It’s about investing in your continued ascent because you know your vision is worth it. If you're a woman CEO who recognises that even at the pinnacle, there's always a "next level" of impact, freedom, & fulfilment to explore, then perhaps it’s time for a different kind of conversation. This isn't just coaching; it's a strategic imperative for the ambitious woman CEO ready to not just occupy the C-suite, but to redefine what's possible from it. Ready to explore what that could look like for you? Our Ascend Executive Coaching is designed specifically for Visionary Leaders like you, providing a premier 12-month strategic partnership focused on exponential growth, legacy building, & holistic high performance. It's an application-only experience because we believe in true partnership & perfect fit. • Holistic Leadership for Female Founders: Scale Your Company

The Visionary CEO's Compass: My Guide to Holistic Leadership for Female Founders Navigating High-Growth Companies That feeling when your business isn't just growing, it’s exploding ? It’s like suddenly finding yourself on the fastest, twistiest rollercoaster you’ve ever seen. One minute you're exhilarated, fist-pumping the air, the next your stomach is in your throat wondering if you remembered to buckle up properly! Honestly, as a female founder, especially if you’re juggling motherhood like I am with my four, that high-growth phase is both an incredible opportunity & let’s be honest, a unique kind of crucible. I’ve walked the path from wide-eyed founder to CEO, navigated the corporate maze, & I’m currently deep in PhD research on Black female entrepreneurship – all while trying to ensure my teenager doesn’t run out of clean socks & the toddler hasn’t redecorated the dog with felt tips. I get it. The unique pressures, the thrilling highs, the potential pitfalls… they’re very real. That's why at Femmeprenista, we champion a different kind of success, one that’s deeply rooted in holistic principles. (If you’re curious about our broader philosophy & how we support female entrepreneurs at every stage, you can get a feel for it right here: Femmeprenista Female Entrepreneur Support: Find Your Purpose ) High growth demands more than just grit & long hours; it demands an evolution of you as a leader. It requires foresight to avoid the common traps of burnout, becoming the bottleneck in your own company, or feeling like you’re succeeding in business but failing at life. This isn't about diminishing your ambition; it’s about fuelling it sustainably. The High-Growth Tightrope: More Than Just Hustle Let’s be frank, navigating a rapidly scaling company as a woman often comes with an extra layer of complexity. We’re ambitious, we’re driven, but we’re also frequently balancing more behind the scenes than many of our male counterparts. I remember during my MBA at Cranfield, juggling intense studies & a baby – honestly, it felt like a crash course in high-stakes prioritisation & system building, not unlike leading a company through a growth spurt! The pressure was immense, but focused collaboration & resilience pulled me through. The traditional narrative of high growth often glorifies relentless hustle, sacrificing sleep, health, & personal life on the altar of success. But I’m here to tell you, as a Business Coach For Women Business Coach For Women & someone who’s lived it, that model is often unsustainable & frankly, unnecessary. True, lasting success is built on a foundation that supports you , not just your P&L. Holistic Leadership: Your Engine for Sustainable Scale So, what’s the alternative to the burnout-inducing hustle? It’s what I call Holistic Leadership. This isn't some fluffy concept; it's a strategic imperative for Female Founders Female Founders aiming for the stars without crashing back to earth. It’s the belief that sustainable high growth is powered by a leadership style that intelligently integrates several key areas: Crystal-Clear Vision & Unshakeable Mindset: Knowing exactly where you’re going & cultivating the mental resilience to navigate the inevitable bumps with grace & determination. This means sharpening your focus & building the kind of self-belief that’s contagious. Authentic Team Empowerment & Culture: Building & nurturing a team that’s not just skilled but also deeply aligned with your vision & values. It's about fostering an internal culture where people feel empowered to take ownership & contribute their best, reflecting the very essence of your brand. Smart, Efficient Systems & Processes: Implementing streamlined workflows & leveraging technology – yes, including savvy AI tools – to create efficiency & free up your precious time & energy for high-level strategic thinking. Imagine your operations flowing so smoothly, you actually have space to breathe & think . Non-Negotiable Personal Well-being: Recognising that your energy, health, & happiness are not luxuries but essential fuel for your leadership & your company’s growth. It’s about weaving well-being into the fabric of your life & business. This integrated approach is the heart of how we do things at Femmeprenista. The Metamorphosis: From Founder to Visionary CEO One of the biggest challenges – & opportunities – in a high-growth company is the evolution of your role from the primary "doer" to the visionary CEO. This isn't just a title change; it's a profound shift in mindset & operation, especially crucial for those of you Scaling Leaders (like our Sofia-Type avatar, who are leading established, thriving businesses into new territories). Ever feel like you’re being pulled in a million different directions? I get it! Remember those early days? Probably a bit like my first proper venture, Nisbett & George, which I co-founded during university as a new mother. Honestly, I was all in, doing everything because, well, there wasn't anyone else! I even remember a period where I was so afraid to delegate, convinced no one could do things "quite right," that I became a major bottleneck. It wasn't until I truly embraced empowering my team that things started to flow – a lesson learned through (slight) burnout! But as your company scales, clinging to that "doer" identity becomes your biggest bottleneck. The critical shifts include: Mindset Evolution: From Doer to Delegator (and Developer!): Your value shifts from doing the work to empowering others to do it brilliantly. This means trusting your team & investing in their growth. From Control to Empowerment: Letting go of the need to have your hands in everything & instead, fostering a culture of ownership & accountability. I learned this the hard way in some corporate roles where micromanagement stifled creativity; the best results came when I, or my leaders, empowered individuals with autonomy. From Firefighter to Architect: Moving from constantly reacting to daily urgencies to proactively designing the future of your company. Operational Overhaul: Strategic Delegation: Not just offloading tasks, but strategically assigning responsibilities to the right people, aligned with their strengths & your company’s goals. Building a Culture of Personal Responsibility: Instilling a sense that everyone is responsible for their contribution to the company's success. This is a core value for me – acknowledging challenges but always focusing on what we can do. Leading Through Vision: Your primary role becomes holding & communicating the vision, inspiring your team to rally behind it. 3-Step Checklist to Escape the "Doer" Trap: Identify 3 tasks you can delegate today to free up your time. Schedule 1:1 meetings with your team to empower them with these responsibilities. Create a system for tracking progress and providing support without micromanaging. This metamorphosis can feel like learning to ride a bike all over again – wobbly at first, maybe a few scrapes, but utterly liberating once you find your balance. I remember when my eldest daughter was learning to ride her bike, she struggled when she was trying too hard, feeling all the pressure. The breakthrough came when she hopped on a friend's bike at school, just for fun, with no pressure. Suddenly, it clicked! That’s often how this leadership transition feels – when you can let go of the intense pressure to do everything & embrace the fun & flow of leading, amazing things happen. Your Compass Points: Actionable Pillars for the Ascending Female CEO So, how do you navigate this ascent & embody this holistic, visionary leadership? Here are some practical pillars to guide you: 1. Cultivating Executive Presence & Visionary Clarity As CEO, your presence sets the tone. It’s about more than just looking the part; it’s about embodying confidence, clarity, & conviction. Find Your Authentic Leadership Voice: What do you stand for? How do you inspire? Your unique voice, honed by your experiences (yes, even the tough ones!), is a powerful asset. Remember those school teachers who tried to tell me to "shut up & sit down"? My dad fiercely advocating for me taught me the power of having & using your voice. Now, it’s about using that voice to lead. Sharpen Your Strategic Thinking: High growth means high-stakes decisions. Leverage your knowledge (perhaps, like me, you have an MBA or other advanced learning) & intuition to make bold, informed choices. This isn’t about always being right, but about having a clear, well-reasoned process. Hold the Vision, Even in a Storm: Market shifts, internal challenges, global pandemics… disturbances are inevitable. Your ability to hold fast to the long-term vision, providing a steady hand for your team, is crucial. This requires immense mental resilience & a clear focus on your North Star. During the 2008 financial crisis, Apple doubled down on product innovation while others panicked. 2. Building & Nurturing Your A-Team You can’t scale a mountain solo. Your team is your most valuable asset. Delegate Like a Pro: This means empowering your team with real responsibility & the autonomy to deliver. One of the most rewarding parts of my time at Apple was mentoring a struggling team member. By getting to know them, understanding their challenges, & then putting the onus back on them – "How do you think you can do it?" – they blossomed. That's the kind of delegation that builds leaders. Foster a Culture of Ownership: When your team feels a sense of ownership, they’re more invested, innovative, & resilient. This isn't just about tasks; it's about shared purpose. Mentor Your Future Leaders: Identify & nurture talent within your organisation. Your legacy isn’t just about the company you build, but the leaders you develop. 3. Engineering Flow: Systems, AI & Strategic Space Efficiency isn't just a buzzword; it's the bedrock of scalable success. My husband, who is also a PhD student researching generative AI & micro-businesses, & I often discuss how crucial smart systems are. For example, we were just debating the other day about the best AI tools to streamline client onboarding for service-based businesses, which can save hours each week. Implement Robust, Scalable Systems: Your processes for client delivery, marketing, operations, & finance need to grow with you, not hold you back. Think clear, repeatable, & as automated as sensible. Strategically Leverage AI: Artificial intelligence isn't just for tech giants. It’s an incredible co-pilot for Female CEOs Female CEOs . Use it to streamline routine tasks, gain data-driven insights, enhance client communication, & ultimately, free up your capacity for the visionary work only you can do. This is about working smarter, amplified. Design for ‘Flow’: Create workflows that minimise friction & maximise productivity. When your business operations flow smoothly, it creates space – mental & temporal – for innovation & strategic thought. I often say, "It's the system that's going to help us" when things feel overwhelming. 4. Non-Negotiable You: Well-being as a Leadership Superpower This might be the most radical pillar for some, but it's the one that underpins everything else. As female leaders, especially mothers, we often put ourselves last. This has to change. Champion Work-Life Integration: Forget the elusive "balance"; aim for integration. How can your business & personal life support & energise each other? This means setting boundaries, being ruthlessly intentional with your time, & remembering those 12-13 weeks of school holidays need a plan! Prioritise Your Energy & Well-being: You are the most critical asset in your business. Your physical health, mental clarity, & emotional resilience are non-negotiable. What fills your cup? Make time for it. For me, even amidst the beautiful chaos of four kids (from deciphering toddler language to navigating teenage angst) & my PhD, finding those small moments to recharge is vital. Taking a 30-minute walk allows me to solve problems I've been stuck on for days. It's not selfish; it's strategic. Lead by Example: When your team sees you prioritising your well-being, it gives them permission to do the same, fostering a healthier, more sustainable company culture. Recently, I felt like I was hitting a wall with my energy levels, constantly drained by the demands of the business, my PhD, & the kids. So, I carved out a non-negotiable "power hour" each morning before anyone else woke up, dedicated to exercise & mindful planning. Honestly, that hour of focused self-care has transformed my productivity & my mood for the entire day. It's a reminder that investing in myself isn't a luxury; it's a strategic business decision. Navigating the Ascent: When to Seek a Sherpa Leading a high-growth company, evolving into that visionary CEO, & building a lasting legacy… it’s an extraordinary journey. But even the most accomplished mountaineers have sherpas. There comes a point where tailored, high-level strategic partnership becomes invaluable. This is precisely why I developed Ascend Executive Coaching Page . It's a premier 12-month 1:1 strategic partnership specifically for Visionary Leaders like you – women who are ready for exponential growth, advanced scaling strategies, impactful team leadership, & crafting a legacy that truly matters, all while cultivating holistic high performance. Sometimes, the journey to visionary leadership might involve solidifying the foundations of scale first. If you feel you're on the cusp, transitioning from a solidly scaling business to this next high-growth phase, ensuring your systems, premium client attraction, & mindset are rock-solid is key. Ultimately, the path to visionary leadership is yours to walk. But you don't have to walk it alone. Your Compass, Your Journey Stepping into the role of a Visionary CEO in a high-growth company is one of the most challenging & rewarding endeavours a Female Entrepreneur Female Entrepreneur can undertake. It demands courage, strategic acumen, & a deep commitment to holistic leadership. It means understanding that your well-being, your team's empowerment, & your operational efficiencies are just as critical as your revenue targets. What’s one small, smart step you can take today to align your leadership more holistically with your high-growth ambitions? Perhaps it's blocking out 30 minutes for strategic thinking, having a crucial conversation with a team member, or simply acknowledging one area where you need to reclaim some energy. • Strategic Side Hustle for Mums: Launch Your Dream Life

Your Side Hustle Isn't Just for Pennies, Darling: It's Your Secret Launchpad to Freedom Ever find yourself staring out the window during naptime (if you’re lucky enough to get one!), or scrolling through your phone after the kids are finally in bed, a little voice whispering, "There has to be more than this"? More flexibility than the 9-to-5, more purpose than just paying the bills, more you in your everyday life? You know that feeling, right? So many of us ambitious women, especially when we’re navigating the beautiful, often bonkers, chaos of motherhood, feel that pull. We dream of building something of our own, something that sets our soul on fire & fits around our families. But the thought of launching a full-blown business? Well, that can feel like scaling Everest in your slippers, can’t it? Overwhelming, terrifying, & where on earth would you even start? This is where I see so many incredible women turn to the "side hustle." & bless them, they’re often brilliant ideas! But too often, that little venture is seen merely as a way to bring in a bit of extra cash, a hobby with a small payout. Now, don’t get me wrong, a few extra quid in the bank is always welcome, especially when a block of cheese costs what it does these days! But I want to challenge that thinking, darling. Let’s reframe that into what it really is, a strategic side project! From my perspective, shaped by my own entrepreneurial rollercoaster (which started way back with selling sweets in the playground!), my MBA, & my ongoing PhD research into the journeys of amazing female entrepreneurs, I see the strategic side hustle through a very different lens. When approached with intention, a good dose of personal responsibility, & some smart planning, your side project isn't just a bit on the side. It's a potent, strategic launchpad into the business & life you truly crave. It’s your first powerful step towards designing a future filled with purpose, freedom, & fulfillment, all while embracing the glorious whirlwind of family life. The Strategic Side Hustle: More Than Just a Bit on the Side, Darling! Let’s be honest, the term "side hustle" can sometimes feel a bit… diminutive. Like it’s not quite serious. But I want you to reframe that. Think of it as your entrepreneurial apprenticeship, your safe space to experiment, learn, & grow without the immense pressure or financial risk of going all-in from day one. For us busy mothers, this approach is pure gold. It’s a chance to: Test the Waters: Got a brilliant idea? A side hustle lets you dip your toe in, see if there’s genuine interest, & refine your concept before you remortgage the house or quit your day job. Aim to get at least 10 potential customers to validate your idea. Build Your Business Muscles: You’ll start learning the ropes of marketing, sales, customer service, & managing your finances on a smaller, more manageable scale. Every little win, every problem solved, builds your confidence & business acumen. I learned so much from my first "proper" venture, Nisbett & George, which I co-founded during my university days after winning a spot in the E-Factor competition. It was a whirlwind, juggling a new baby & a new business, & while it taught me heaps about partnerships, it fundamentally showed me the power of starting, learning, & iterating, even when things are small. Cultivate Strategic Thinking from Day One: This is crucial. Even if it feels small, treat it like the seed of the empire you intend to build. This means taking personal responsibility & ownership right from the start. It’s not just a hobby; it’s the foundation of your future. Ask yourself: Who is my ideal client, even for this small offer? What problem am I solving? How can I deliver exceptional value? That sense of ownership, even on a small scale, is what builds true entrepreneurial muscle. Reflections informed by my ongoing PhD research into women's entrepreneurship often highlight how these early ventures are critical for building not just skills, but the sheer resilience needed to navigate the path ahead. It’s so easy to look at the challenges – the economy, the lack of time, the systemic hurdles that, yes, are very real. I often think about how, as millennials, we sometimes feel like we got the tough end of the stick. But what if the real power lies not in blaming the system, but in figuring out how you can navigate it? I truly believe, & I've seen it time & time again, that the magic happens when you ask, "Okay, given all that, what can I do? How can I take ownership of this small piece & make it work for me?" Just last week, I had a total calendar fail – double-booked myself, missed my eldest's netball match (cue the teenage eye-rolls!), & felt like I was failing on all fronts. It’s in moments like those I remember, "Okay, what CAN I control right now?". Finding Your Fire: Why Your Side Hustle Needs Purpose to Truly Ignite Now, here’s a piece of advice I give from the heart: if you’re going to pour your precious time & energy into a side hustle (especially when you’re already juggling so much!), make sure it’s something that genuinely lights you up. This is where we talk about sharpening your Mindset – not just in terms of what you do, but why you do it. Your side hustle shouldn’t just be about the money; it needs to align with your intrinsic values, your passions, & your bigger vision for your life. Ask yourself: What do I genuinely love doing? What problems do I enjoy solving? What kind of impact do I want to make, even in a small way, right now? Does this venture feel like it’s moving me towards the life I want, or is it just another task on the to-do list? When your side hustle is purpose-driven, something magical happens. That alignment becomes your rocket fuel. It’s what will keep you going when you’re tired, when the kids have been up all night, or when you face the inevitable bumps in the road. It’s the difference between a venture that drains you & one that energises you, leading to sustainable motivation & a truly fulfilling business. If you're looking for more support on this, our post on Femmeprenista Female Entrepreneur Support: Find Your Purpose might be a great place to start. Smart Starts for the Time-Strapped Mum: Practical Steps to Get Your Hustle Humming Alright, let’s get practical. "That all sounds lovely, Carlene," I hear you say, "but I have approximately 17 minutes of uninterrupted thought per day, & that’s usually in the loo!" I get it. Oh, I SO get it. I remember trying to map out marketing funnels for an early idea while one of my little ones was determined my notebook was a new kind of drum kit! It taught me quickly that you have to be laser-focused in the pockets of time you DO get, & that simple systems aren't a luxury, they're a lifeline, helping your days, well, flow a bit more smoothly. Here are a few tips for getting your strategic side hustle off the ground without adding to the overwhelm: Validate Smart, Not Hard: You don’t need a massive budget to test your idea. Talk to people: Have conversations with your ideal potential customers. What are their biggest pain points? Would your idea solve a real problem for them? For example, if you're thinking of offering a meal prep service for busy families, chat with mums at the school gate. Ask them about their biggest dinnertime struggles - is it lack of time, picky eaters, or healthy options? Really listen to their answers & tweak your idea based on their needs. Create a Minimum Viable Offer (MVO): What’s the simplest version of your product or service you can offer to test demand? Maybe it’s a small batch of handmade items, a single coaching session, or a mini-workshop. Think of offering a "Dinner SOS" package: one healthy meal delivered to their door, along with a quick recipe card for a side dish. It's low-commitment for them & gives you valuable feedback. Here’s a template: " is testing a new for busy families! Get a taste with our special offer: . Limited spots available! DM me to learn more." Presell: Before you invest heavily in creating something, see if people are willing to pay for it. This is the ultimate validation. Offer an "early bird" discount to those who sign up & pay in advance. Carve Out Time (Goodbye, Mummy Guilt!): This is a big one. That "mummy guilt" can be a real dream-killer. Block it Out: Even 30-60 focused minutes a day, consistently, can achieve wonders. Treat it like an important appointment. Communicate: Talk to your partner, your family. Explain why this is important to you. I remember one week feeling so overwhelmed with "mummy guilt" that I nearly scrapped the whole side hustle idea altogether! What helped was having an honest chat with Bear, my partner, who reminded me that my passions matter too, & that by pursuing them, I was also showing our daughters that they could chase their dreams, too. My own partner has been an absolute rock , understanding that sometimes my PhD research or business focus needs dedicated time, & we work as a team to make that happen. It’s not always easy, & sometimes carving out that 'focused hour' feels like trying to negotiate a peace treaty between a hyperactive toddler, a demanding deadline, & Espresso, our younger Min Pin, who firmly believes my keyboard is a new chew toy. Cappuccino, her mum, just watches with an air of 'been there, done that, got the T-shirt.' It's in those moments you realise that 'perfect' working conditions are a myth; progress is about smart strategies & relentless, imperfect action. Batch Tasks: Group similar tasks together. Dedicate one block to content creation, another to emails, etc. Work Smart, Not Just Harder: Look for leverage. Can you repurpose content? Can you use simple tools to automate small tasks? This isn't about adding more hours to your already packed day; it's about making the hours you do have work more effectively for you. Keep Systems Simple: You don’t need complicated software or elaborate processes when you’re starting. Client Communication: A simple email system or even organized DMs can work initially. Payments: PayPal, Stripe, or bank transfers are easy to set up. Tracking: A basic spreadsheet can track income, expenses, & leads. The goal is to create just enough structure to keep things moving smoothly without getting bogged down in tech overwhelm. As you grow, your systems can grow with you. Here's a quick checklist to kickstart your strategic side hustle: Identify your ideal client. Define your offer. Create a simple marketing plan. Block out dedicated time each day. Building Your Empire, Brick by Brick: How Today's Hustle Fuels Tomorrow's Freedom Every step you take with your strategic side hustle, every lesson learned, every connection made, is a brick in the foundation of your future empire. This isn't just about the immediate income; it's about the long-term game. Think of it as your personal MBA, without the hefty tuition fees (though my Cranfield MBA was invaluable, this practical experience is its own powerful teacher!). You’re: Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset: You’re learning to see opportunities, solve problems, take calculated risks, & bounce back from setbacks. This mindset is priceless & transferable to any future venture. Understanding Your Market (Hello, Flair!): You’re getting up close & personal with your ideal clients. You’re learning what they need, what they value, what language resonates with them, & how to craft messages that truly connect. This is the heart of authentic marketing. Establishing Your Core Principles: How do you want to do business? What are your non-negotiables? What kind of culture do you want to create, even if it’s just you for now? Your side hustle is where these principles take root. Building Towards Autonomy & Impact: This is the big one, isn’t it? It’s what drove me from the corporate world, that deep yearning for the flexibility to be present with my family, the autonomy to make my own decisions, & the ability to make a direct, meaningful impact. Your side hustle, nurtured strategically, is a direct path towards that. For example, I have a client called Jane, who had her eureka moment when she was trying to potty-train her eldest. So many accidents! So much extra washing! With Jane's determination to solve this problem, combined with an eye for style that she had acquired from her degree in fashion design, she created a range of waterproof mattress covers for parents that have now become an international bestseller. And it all started with that little side project! About Carlene Nisbett / Our Founder if you want to read a bit more about my own winding path. • Unlock Your Client-Attracting About Me Page: Proven Tips

Is Your "About Me" Page Secretly Sabotaging Your Client Attraction? (Hint: It's Not Actually About You!) Let’s be brutally honest for a moment, shall we? When you think about your website’s “About Me” page, does a little shiver of dread (or maybe just a massive eye-roll) creep in? For so many of us ambitious female entrepreneurs, especially when we’re juggling a gazillion other things like motherhood, side-hustles, or even a PhD like yours truly, writing about ourselves feels like… well, a bit of a chore. It’s often treated like a digital CV, a place to dutifully list our qualifications, experiences, & hope for the best. I remember when I first started building my online presence. My own “About Me” page was a classic example of this. It proudly trumpeted my MBA from Cranfield, rattled off my years in corporate giants like Apple & Electrolux, & basically read like I was applying for a senior management role. Impressive? Perhaps to my mum, or a recruiter. But did it truly speak to the heart of the overwhelmed, aspiring female entrepreneur I so desperately wanted to connect with & serve? Honestly? Not a chance. It got a grand total of 3 inquiries, none of which converted. It was all ‘me, me, me,’ when it desperately needed to be ‘YOU, YOU, YOU, & here’s how my journey, my struggles, & my breakthroughs can illuminate your path.’ And that, my lovely, is the paradigm shift I want to talk about today. Because if your “About Me” page is still stuck in the ‘all about me’ groove, it might not just be falling flat – it could be actively, if unintentionally, turning away your dream clients. Statistics show that after the homepage, the "About Me" page is one of the most visited pages on a website, so, if you fail to make a connection, you are potentially pushing away your next clients. But here’s the brilliant news: understanding this one crucial shift can transform your “About Me” page from a dusty digital resume into one of your most powerful, client-attracting assets. Stop the CV, Start the Conversation: Your "About Me" is Prime Marketing Real Estate Think about it. After your homepage, where do most curious potential clients click? Yep, your “About Me” page. They’re looking for a connection, a reason to trust you, a sign that you get them. They’re not (primarily) there to be dazzled by a list of your degrees or past job titles, however impressive they might be. This is your first real, heart-to-heart handshake with your brand’s soul & your unique expertise. This isn't just about fluff; it’s about strategic storytelling. It’s where your authentic marketing – that spark, that unique flair that only you possess – truly comes alive. When you treat it as a marketing tool, its purpose shifts from self-glorification to client connection. It’s no longer a monologue; it’s the beginning of a beautiful, supportive dialogue. Flip the Script: It’s Not About Your Whole Life Story, It’s About Their Future Story So, how do we make this shift? We pivot the narrative. The most effective “About Me” pages aren’t a chronological recounting of your entire life. Instead, they carefully select & weave together the threads of your story – your experiences, your challenges, your ‘aha!’ moments, your expertise – that directly resonate with your ideal client’s world. It’s less about your journey in isolation & far more about how specific parts of your journey equip you to solve their pressing problems or help them achieve their deepest desires. To do this effectively, you first need to get crystal clear on who that ideal client is. What keeps them up at night? What are their secret hopes & dreams? What’s the big, hairy, audacious goal they’re striving for, or the frustrating obstacle they just can’t seem to overcome? Understanding them on this deeper level, connecting with their purpose, is absolutely foundational. If you're in the early stages of building your business, perhaps still validating your idea or just securing your first clients – like many of the Foundation Builders I work with – this clarity is key. If you're realizing you need a bit more support to nail these crucial pieces – to get that crystal clarity on your client-centric messaging & create foundational assets like a truly compelling “About Me” page – then our Spark Program Page might be just the spark you need. It’s designed specifically to help you validate your ideas & build that essential action plan. Once you have that clarity, you can then look at your own story & ask: Which of my experiences mirror their challenges? What lessons have I learned that could save them time, money, or heartache? How has my unique path given me the specific skills & insights to guide them towards their desired transformation? It’s about shining a light on the parts of your story that make them nod along & think, "Yes! She gets it! She’s been there. She can help me." Strategic Authenticity: Building Bridges, Not Just Walls of Credentials Now, when I say ‘strategic’, I don’t mean inauthentic or manipulative. Absolutely not. Authenticity is the bedrock of everything we do here at Femmeprenista. But it’s about being intentional with your authenticity. It’s not about baring your soul & sharing every trauma or triumph (unless it’s directly relevant & serves your client). It’s about vulnerability with purpose. It’s about sharing your story in a way that builds an immediate bridge to your client’s world, making them feel seen, understood, &, crucially, confident that you are the right person to guide them. I often think back to my own corporate escape. The decision to leave a ‘secure’ path, the pull towards something more fulfilling but also more uncertain, the juggle of pursuing my MBA at Cranfield with a young child – these aren't just lines on a CV. They are experiences that forged resilience, taught me the true meaning of work-life integration (or the frantic quest for it!), & gave me a profound empathy for other women facing similar crossroads. Sharing that kind of story, the ‘why’ behind the qualifications, is what builds genuine connection & trust. It’s what helps your ideal client see you not just as an expert, but as a relatable human who has navigated similar terrain & emerged stronger & wiser. For example, if you're speaking to a burnt-out mom entrepreneur, share how you overcame a similar challenge, juggling family and business commitments. If you're targeting start-up founders, discuss your entrepreneurial journey and early obstacles. Or, if you are targeting coaches, describe your path to finding your voice. Your Silent Salesperson: The Efficiency Powerhouse for Busy Mums (and All Ambitious Women!) For us busy female entrepreneurs, particularly those of us who are mothers, time is our most precious, non-renewable resource. We’re often spinning so many plates – family, business, personal growth (hello, PhD journey amidst the beautiful chaos of four children!). The last thing we need is to waste that precious time & energy on endless discovery calls with people who aren’t the right fit. This is where a truly client-centric “About Me” page becomes your secret weapon. It acts as an efficient, silent salesperson, working for you 24/7. When your page clearly speaks to your ideal client’s pain points & aspirations, & positions you as the empathetic expert who can provide the solution, it does a huge amount of the pre-qualifying work for you. It attracts the right kind of clients – those soul-aligned individuals who resonate with your message, value your unique approach, & are genuinely ready for the transformation you offer. It gently repels those who aren’t a good fit, saving everyone time & energy. Imagine that! Fewer wasted calls, more meaningful conversations with people you’re genuinely excited to help. This efficiency is vital. It helps to streamline your processes, creating a smoother flow in your business & by reducing energy drain from unproductive interactions. That’s not just smart business; it’s essential for sustainable success & that ever-elusive work-life harmony, especially when you’re trying to draft a marketing plan while refereeing a toddler’s meltdown or deciphering your teenager’s latest crisis. (Believe me, I know that juggle – some days it feels like I’m running a Fortune 500 company from the side-lines of a soft play area!). To illustrate, take a hypothetical example. Let's say you are a coach specializing in helping burnt-out mums reclaim their energy. Before: Your "About Me" page states "I'm a certified coach with 10 years of experience." After: Your "About Me" page states "Like you, I once felt like I was running on fumes, juggling endless to-do lists while secretly craving a nap. That's why I created a unique coaching method to help burnt-out mums rediscover their energy & passion without sacrificing their families." Can you feel the difference? Quick Client-Centric Prompts to Get You Started: Feeling a bit stuck on how to make this shift? Grab a cuppa & ponder these: Who is my absolute dream client? (Get specific – what are her biggest struggles & brightest dreams related to what I offer?) What part of my own story (struggles, lessons, successes) would make her feel truly understood & hopeful? What transformation do I really offer her, beyond the features of my service/product? (How will her life/business be different & better?) If my "About Me" page was a conversation, what would I want her to walk away feeling & knowing about me & how I can help her ? It’s Time to Make Your "About Me" Page Work For You (& Your Clients!) Your “About Me” page holds incredible potential. It's so much more than a digital afterthought. It’s a strategic opportunity to connect, to build trust, to showcase your unique expertise through the lens of your client’s needs, & to attract those wonderful, soul-aligned clients you’re dreaming of working with. So, I invite you to take another look at your own “About Me” page today. Is it truly about you, or is it, more powerfully, for them? Making that shift could be one of the most impactful changes you make to your website. If you’re ready to stop treating your “About Me” page like a CV & start transforming it into a client-attraction powerhouse, but you’re not quite sure where to begin with defining your ideal client or crafting that resonant message, I’d love to invite you to explore our Spark Program Page . It's specifically designed to help female entrepreneurs like you lay these vital foundations with clarity & confidence. And remember, your story matters. The key is learning how to tell it in a way that opens doors & invites your ideal clients in. And, reflecting on my own journey, there was this one time when my About Me page wasn't converting anyone. After a thorough review and working on the tips from what I now teach at Femmeprenista, that corporate-resume version of my "About Me" page eventually transformed into something far more aligned & authentic, something that shares both the qualifications and the heart behind Femmeprenista. It's an evolution, & I'm still tweaking it, because we are ever-evolving, right? • Taming Your Inner Critic: From Self-Doubt to Secret Weapon

Taming the Inner Beast: Turning Your Inner Critic into Your Secret Weapon Right, let's be honest. How many times have you been about to hit 'publish' on that killer piece of content, launch that amazing new offer, or even just send a simple email, only to have that nagging voice pipe up? You know the one – the inner critic, whispering (or sometimes shouting!) doubts, fears, and all sorts of unhelpful "what ifs." Honestly, it can feel like trying to give a presentation with Espresso, my hyperactive Miniature Pinscher puppy, attached to your leg – distracting, disruptive, & frankly, a bit embarrassing! That feeling of being held back, of second-guessing yourself – that’s your inner critic trying to steal the show. For Visionary Leaders, this can manifest as questioning the long-term sustainability of your success or feeling isolated at the top. For Foundation Builders, it's that persistent whisper of self-doubt that holds you back from taking that first leap. It's a universal experience, especially for us ambitious women juggling businesses, families, & everything in between. We're constantly bombarded with messages about "having it all," which, let's face it, often translates to feeling like we're failing at everything. And that's prime breeding ground for the inner critic to take root & flourish. I've been there, believe me. Juggling four kids, a PhD, & running a business? My inner critic has had more material to work with than a stand-up comedian at a political convention! But here's the thing: I've also learned that silencing that inner beast isn't the answer. It's about understanding it, reframing it, & even turning it into a secret weapon. Honestly, it's about taking ownership of that voice & making it work for you, not against you. Understanding the Signals: Your Inner Critic Isn't the Enemy See, that inner voice isn't inherently malicious. It's often trying to protect us, albeit in a rather clumsy & unhelpful way. Think of it like Cappuccino, my older, wiser Miniature Pinscher. She barks at anything new or unfamiliar – not because she's mean, but because she's cautious. Your inner critic is similar. It's often rooted in past experiences, fears of failure or even success (yes, that's a real thing!), & societal conditioning that tells us to play small & not rock the boat. Remember that time I moved from a failing public primary school to a private one mid-year? My confidence was shot. I was terrified of asking "silly" questions, convinced I was already too far behind. That experience, while ultimately beneficial, left a deep imprint. My inner critic would whisper, "You're not smart enough," or "You don't belong here." Sound familiar? Thought so! But here's the game-changer: recognizing that those whispers are just echoes of the past, not accurate reflections of your present capabilities. It's like realizing Cappuccino is barking at a friendly postman, not a burglar. Once you understand the signal, you can retrain the response. Reframing the Narrative: Shifting From Self-Doubt to Self-Belief So, how do we retrain that response? It starts with reframing the narrative. Instead of seeing your inner critic as the enemy, see it as a signal to be understood. What is it really trying to tell you? Is it fear of failure? Maybe it’s whispering, “What if nobody buys my new program?” Reframe that to: "What if this program transforms lives & creates the financial freedom I crave?" Then, take action – what’s one small, smart step to make that a reality? Maybe it’s connecting with five potential clients in our Femme:Connect community today. Is it fear of success? This one’s sneaky. It might sound like, "What if I get too busy & burn out?" Reframe that to: "What systems can I put in place to scale sustainably & protect my time & well-being?" Perhaps exploring AI-powered tools to streamline your processes is the next step. Seriously, who actually has the bandwidth for complex systems unless it’s made super simple? Is it imposter syndrome? "Who am I to charge premium prices?" Reframe that to: "My expertise is valuable. I am changing lives. My pricing reflects the transformation I deliver." Consider digging deeper into your core “Why” – what drives you? What impact do you want to create? This clarity is fuel for confidence. My own PhD research into Black female entrepreneurship constantly reveals that these mindset challenges are common. For example, preliminary findings suggest that over 70% of the women I've interviewed experience some form of imposter syndrome, particularly when scaling their business or launching new offers. We all experience them, regardless of our stage of business. It's not about eradicating the inner critic; it's about shifting the power dynamic. And as I like to say, it's about taking ownership of that voice & making it work for you, not against you. Even now, after all I've learned and teach, I still get those moments. Just last week, I was prepping for a webinar on Validate Your Business Idea: A Mum's Guide to Success for the Spark Program, and that little voice piped up, "What if you completely blank? What if the tech fails and you look like a total amateur?" I took a deep breath, reminded myself of my own advice, visualized the webinar going smoothly, and even had a little giggle at my inner critic's dramatics. Even after going through all the material and doing this for years, I still had a moment of "Oh my goodness, what if nobody signs up because I mess up?" It’s a constant process, isn't it? Building Resilience: Turning Setbacks into Stepping Stones The entrepreneurial journey isn’t linear; it's more like a rollercoaster designed by a toddler – full of unexpected twists, turns, & the occasional loop-de-loop. There will be setbacks. You might launch a product that doesn't quite land the way you envisioned. Or you might feel overwhelmed by the juggle, like I did when trying to finish my MBA with a baby and limited support – seriously, it felt like those poor dogs I had to crate – a necessary, but heartbreaking, solution at the time. But here's where resilience comes in. It's not about avoiding the dips; it's about how you respond to them. What I learned from my time at Apple, navigating corporate politics & even being scapegoated for others’ mistakes, was the power of taking radical personal responsibility. Even when the system feels stacked against you, your response is what you control. It's not about blaming the system (although acknowledging its flaws is important). It's about asking, "What can I do differently? What did I learn from this? What's my next, smartest move?" Practical Strategies: Taming the Beast in Daily Life Okay, enough theory. Let's get practical. Here's your 3-step actionable checklist to quiet that inner critic: Become a Critic Detective: Notice the Critic's Chatter: Pay attention to when your inner critic pipes up. What situations, thoughts, or actions trigger it? Is it when you're about to launch a new offer, hit 'publish' on a blog post, or talk about your prices? It's about becoming super aware of its presence. Listen to the Language: What specific words or phrases does your inner critic use? Does it say things like, "You're not good enough," "Who are you kidding," or "This will never work"? Write them down. This is your decoder ring to understanding its patterns. Reframe the Questions (Focus): Turn "What ifs" into "How tos": When your inner critic throws a "what if" at you (e.g., "What if I fail?"), reframe it into a "how to" question (e.g., "How can I minimize the risk and learn even if things don't go exactly as planned?"). From Lack to Action: Transform statements of lack ("I'm not ready") into action-oriented questions ("What do I need to do to feel more prepared?"). Embrace Empowering Tools: Affirmations as Armor: Create specific, positive affirmations that directly counter your inner critic's negativity. For example, if it says, "You're not an expert," your affirmation could be, "I am knowledgeable, capable, and my unique experience is valuable." Say these affirmations out loud, write them down, or even record them and play them back – make them a regular part of your routine. Visualization as Victory: Close your eyes and visualize yourself successfully completing the task or achieving the goal that your inner critic is trying to sabotage. See it, feel it, and believe it. This helps reprogram your subconscious mind for success. Self-Compassion as a Superpower: Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer a close friend facing a similar challenge. Remember, you’re on a journey, and progress, not perfection, is the goal. Reclaiming Your Power: From Inner Critic to Inner Champion The inner critic is a part of us, but it doesn't define us. By understanding its signals, reframing the narrative, & building resilience, you can transform that nagging voice into a source of insight & even motivation. Imagine your inner critic not as a beast to be silenced, but as a wise, albeit slightly grumpy, advisor who’s just trying to help you navigate the rollercoaster in her own peculiar way. Learn to interpret her warnings, reframe her doubts, & turn her anxieties into fuel for growth. It’s about starting to view that voice as a source of insight, not just an endless stream of negativity. If you’re ready to dive deeper into building unshakeable confidence & clarifying your vision, our Spark Program is designed specifically for Foundation Builders like you. It's all about laying a strong groundwork, validating your ideas, & building the mindset you need to succeed. • Mom Boss Entrepreneurship Guilt: Find Your Superpower

From Mum Guilt to Mom-Boss Magic: Unleashing Your Entrepreneurial Superpower Right, let's talk. You know that nagging feeling, the one that whispers (or sometimes shouts!) "You're not doing enough"? The one that makes you question if pursuing your business dreams is somehow selfish when you have little ones depending on you? Yeah, that's mum guilt, and it's something I know intimately . There have been days, weeks even, where the sheer overwhelm of juggling four kids, PhD deadlines, and client calls left me feeling like I was drowning. Like that time I was five minutes late picking up my six-year-old from school because I was wrestling with a tech meltdown, convinced I was failing as both a mum and a CEO. It felt like I was constantly choosing between attending school events and finishing client tasks, never quite measuring up in either role. But what if I told you that this very feeling, this constant juggle, isn't your weakness – it's actually your superpower ? It sounds crazy, I know. When you're tripping over toys, navigating toddler tantrums while trying to answer emails, or feeling that pang of guilt as you sneak in a work call during nap time, "superpower" is probably the last word that comes to mind. But hear me out. Motherhood forges within us an incredible set of skills that, when consciously harnessed, can transform your entrepreneurial journey. It's like that unexpected burst of energy you find to whip up a costume for character day at 10 pm after a full day of client work – that’s mom-boss magic in action. Turning "Mum Guilt" on Its Head The thing is, mum guilt often stems from the feeling that we're somehow falling short in one area or another – not quite the perfect mum, not quite the successful CEO we envision. It's like trying to balance on a wobbly tightrope with a baby on one hip and a laptop on the other. Been there? Thought so! But what if we stepped off that darn tightrope altogether and started building a bridge ? A bridge that connects, rather than divides, these two powerful parts of ourselves. Because, my friend, motherhood isn't a liability; it's an asset . It's a boot camp in resilience, adaptability, and the kind of efficient time management that would make a Fortune 500 CEO envious. Think about it: you're already a master negotiator (ever tried reasoning with a toddler?), a pro at multitasking (who else can cook dinner, answer emails, and supervise a "science experiment" involving baking soda and vinegar – all at the same time?), and you possess an almost superhuman ability to anticipate needs and solve problems before they even arise (sixth sense, anyone?). These are invaluable entrepreneurial skills! Embracing the Mom-Boss Mindset So, how do we shift from feeling guilty to owning our mom-boss power? It starts with a fundamental mindset shift – transforming “I can’t” into “I can, & I will, even if my path looks different." My own PhD research journey, often undertaken with a baby on my lap and a toddler "helping" me type, has shown me that it's about taking ownership of your own pace & progress. Early on, I made the mistake of comparing my progress to entrepreneurs without kids, feeling like a tortoise in a race of hares. But then I realized, my journey is different, it's necessarily slower due to my commitments, but that doesn’t mean I can’t win my own race. It's about consistent, smart action, not speed. Motherhood is NOT a Liability: Instead of viewing motherhood as something holding you back, reframe it as your secret weapon. Embrace the resilience, adaptability, and efficiency it has cultivated. Remember that early venture I mentioned, Nisbett & George? Honestly, that experience, juggling a newborn and a demanding business partner, was a crash course in resilience. It taught me so much about the challenges of balancing motherhood & entrepreneurship, and the critical importance of finding partners who are truly aligned with your vision & level of commitment. What seemed like a setback at the time, the venture dissolving, actually became a powerful catalyst for clarifying what I truly wanted in a business partnership and the kind of business I wanted to build. Align Your "Why": When your business goals are deeply aligned with your family values, your motivation becomes sustainable. You're not just working for yourself; you're building a better future for your loved ones. This creates a powerful “why” that fuels you through the inevitable challenges. This resonates with Simon Sinek's "Start With Why" principle – purpose is your North Star. For me, that "why" is about creating a life where I can be present for my kids' school plays and build a thriving business that empowers other women. Prioritize Well-being (It's Not Selfish, It's Essential): This is a non-negotiable, a core tenet of the Fuel pillar in our Business Flourish Framework. You can’t pour from an empty cup. Prioritizing your well-being, whether it's a quick 10-minute meditation, a walk in nature, or just a quiet cuppa while the little one naps, isn't selfish; it's the fuel that allows you to be your best in both roles. And honestly, if you are struggling in this area, taking care of yourself while building a business, remember this: you are not alone. So many of us feel this struggle deeply. This is exactly why we created our Business Flourish Framework. We get it, it's a windy path, but taking ownership of your well-being is key. You can learn more about it here: Business Flourish Framework . Build Your Tribe: Connect with other female entrepreneurs who get it . Sharing experiences, tips, & even just venting about the daily juggle can be incredibly empowering. Knowing you're not alone makes a world of difference. Our free Femme:Connect Community is designed specifically for this – providing support, resources, & a safe space to share the beautiful chaos and celebrate the power of being a mother in business. From Overwhelm to Empowerment: Practical Tips for Foundation Builders Now, for the nitty-gritty. Mindset shifts are powerful, but they need to be paired with practical action. As a Foundation Builder, laying a strong groundwork is essential. Here are a few "Juggler's Shortcuts" to help you navigate the beautiful chaos: Time Blocking Like a Boss: Identify Your Peak Productivity Times: When do you have the most focus & energy? Even with little ones, there are pockets of time. Is it early mornings before they wake, nap time, or after they're in bed? For me, it's often those stolen hours after the kids are finally asleep, even if it means burning the midnight oil (and yes, a glass of wine often helps!). Schedule Non-Negotiable Work Blocks: Treat these like important appointments. Even 30 minutes of focused work, consistently applied, can yield significant results. Use a tool like Google Calendar or Trello to visually block out these times and set reminders. Communicate Boundaries: Let your family know when you're in "work mode." This might mean setting up a visual cue (like a "Do Not Disturb" sign) or simply having a clear conversation about respecting your dedicated work time. For example, I've taught my kids that when my office door is closed, it means "Mummy is building her empire – come back later!" (Unless the house is on fire, of course!). Outsource & Automate: Assess Your Bottlenecks: What tasks consume the most time & energy but don't directly contribute to your core business goals or income generation? For many of us, it's things like social media scheduling or responding to emails. Explore Affordable Outsourcing Options: Can you delegate household chores (cleaning, laundry, meal prep) or administrative tasks (email management, social media scheduling) to virtual assistants or local services, even on a limited budget? Sites like Upwork or Fiverr offer a great starting point for finding virtual assistants. Remember, even a few hours a week can free up significant mental space. Start Small with Automation: Begin with one key area, like email marketing or social media scheduling. Tools like Canva, Buffer, or Hootsuite can save you precious time, allowing you to focus on strategic tasks. If tech overwhelms you (it did me initially!), start with just one tool and master it before adding more. Our Launch Programme provides step-by-step guidance on choosing and implementing these time-saving strategies. Learn more at Launch Programme . Embrace Imperfection: Reframe "Perfect" as "Progress": Shift your focus from achieving an unattainable ideal to making consistent, measurable progress toward your goals. Is it perfect? Maybe not. Is it moving you forward? Absolutely! Just like when my toddler was learning to walk, there were wobbles and falls, but every step forward was celebrated, not criticized. Set Realistic Deadlines: Break down larger projects into smaller, manageable tasks with achievable deadlines. This reduces overwhelm and allows for the inevitable interruptions of family life. I remember trying to write my entire MBA dissertation in one go – epic fail! Once I broke it into smaller chapters, it became manageable. "Done is Better Than Perfect" Mantra: Repeat this daily. Seriously, write it on a sticky note & put it on your laptop! It’s a powerful antidote to perfectionism. I used this mantra constantly while writing my dissertation, amidst nappy changes and toddler tantrums, and it was a lifesaver. Celebrate Small Wins: Acknowledge Your Achievements: Did you finally finish that website copy while the kids were engrossed in their latest Lego creation? Did you secure your first paying client? These are HUGE wins – celebrate them! Even small victories deserve recognition. Did you finally declutter your inbox after weeks of procrastination? Pop the champagne (or the sparkling water – whatever feels like a celebration!). Track Your Progress Visibly: Create a simple tracker (a spreadsheet, a journal, even sticky notes on a wall) to visually see how far you've come. This tangible record of your accomplishments is incredibly motivating. My whiteboard is covered in colourful sticky notes marking every milestone, no matter how small. It's my visual reminder of how far I've come. Reward Yourself: Celebrating wins doesn't have to be extravagant. It could be a quiet cup of tea, a relaxing bath, or a small treat that acknowledges your hard work & dedication. I love treating myself to a new plant for my ever-growing jungle whenever I hit a major milestone – it's a little reminder of growth and resilience. Your Turn: Own Your Superpower It's time to stop seeing mum guilt as a weakness and start recognizing it as the source of strength it truly is. Embrace the mom-boss within you. Build your bridge. And watch your entrepreneurial journey flourish. Business coaching for female entrepreneurs is my passion, & I truly believe that with the right blend of mindset, marketing, and systems – all powered by AI & enhanced by a supportive community – you can achieve extraordinary things. • From Fear to Focus: Spark Program for Female Entrepreneurs

From ‘What If?’ to ‘I Can’: How Femmeprenista's Spark Program Lights Your Path Past Early Business Fears to Validated Success Oh, that familiar flutter. That brilliant idea buzzing around your head, keeping you up at night, whispering promises of freedom, impact, & a life designed on your own terms. I see you, mama. I see that spark of ambition. But I also see the other whispers, the ones that follow close behind – the "what ifs." "What if I’m not good enough?" "What if I fail?" "What if I invest my precious time & money, & it all comes to nothing?" If those sound familiar, please know you’re not alone. So many of the incredible women I work with have stood exactly where you are now, teetering on the edge of a dream, with a potent mix of excitement & let’s be honest, sheer terror. Those what-ifs, the fear of asking a silly question or simply not knowing where to start, can feel overwhelming, sometimes even paralyzing, especially when you’re juggling motherhood, the school run, the endless mental load, & trying to carve out space for this precious seed of a business. The Weight of Early Business Worries That early stage, when your business idea is still fragile & new, can be incredibly daunting. It’s a time when imposter syndrome loves to rear its head, making you question your every move. The fear of failure can feel monumental, like a giant wave threatening to pull you under before you’ve even learned to swim. & the anxiety around asking those so-called "silly questions"? Oh, I get that one on a cellular level. My own school days taught me a lot about the importance of feeling safe enough to ask, to explore, to not have all the answers immediately. Honestly, I remember vividly what it felt like to be in an environment where I didn't feel I could speak up, & equally, the profound impact of having someone fiercely advocate for my voice to be heard - like my dad used to be calling on top of tables, shouting at teachers in their face! Those experiences shaped my deep-seated belief that everyone deserves a nurturing space to learn & grow, especially when embarking on something as exposing & exhilarating as starting a business. I’ll never forget the time, fresh out of uni with Nisbett & George, when I confidently asked a room full of seasoned entrepreneurs “So, what exactly is cash flow?” Cringe, but true! We all start somewhere, right? And honestly? Even after my MBA from Cranfield, fear still crept in. I remember launching Cocoista, my afro hair & beauty business. I was so worried about failing that I almost didn't start! What if no one bought my products? What if I wasn't a 'real' entrepreneur? What if I wasn't good enough? But I took a deep breath and started anyway. The fear didn't disappear overnight, but taking those first steps gave me the confidence to keep going. For many women, particularly mothers, this initial phase is also layered with the practical overwhelm of simply not knowing where to begin. You have this incredible vision, but the path to making it real can seem shrouded in fog. What’s the first step? The second? How do you know if your idea is even viable before you pour your heart, soul, & savings into it? (Hint: that's where the Spark program, with its emphasis on Focus and Flow, comes in – helping you sharpen your mindset & design those efficient workflows!) Your Nurturing Starting Line: Introducing the Spark Program It’s precisely because I understand these early-stage jitters & the very real need for clarity & validation that I created the Spark Program Spark Program Page . It’s about building resilience from the outset, armed with a clear understanding of your direction. This process naturally helps you cultivate a more focused mindset, overcome those initial limiting beliefs about your idea's potential, & begin to develop the authentic marketing messages that will attract your first clients. It’s about building from a place of insight & confidence. Want peer support & masterclasses on client attraction? Join our free Femme:Connect community Femme:Connect Community Page today! One of the women who went through the program, Amy from Manchester, came to me with an amazing idea for a subscription box service, but she was so worried that no one would sign up, she kept delaying her launch. Through Spark, she validated her idea, refined her offer, & gained the confidence to finally put herself out there. Within 3 months, she had over 50 subscribers. She was quoted as saying: "Spark gave me the push I needed to overcome my fear and finally launch. Now I have a thriving business that I love! Thank you, Carlene and the Femmeprenista community." Action: The Spark Plug for Confidence One of my core beliefs, something I’ve seen play out time & time again in my own journey & in the lives of my clients, is the incredible power of personal responsibility & smart action. It’s easy to get stuck in the "what ifs," to let fear keep us rooted to the spot. But as the brilliant Tony Robbins says, "The only impossible journey is the one you never begin." Taking that first brave step, even a small one, is often the most powerful antidote to fear. Action builds momentum. Action builds confidence. Action transforms vague dreams into tangible realities. Joining a program like the accelerator is, in itself, a powerful action. It’s a declaration that you’re serious about your idea, that you’re willing to invest in yourself & your vision. & as you move through the program, taking small, consistent actions to validate your idea & define your path, you’ll find that confidence naturally begins to grow. Each piece of positive feedback, each moment of clarity, each connection with a fellow entrepreneur on the same path – it all fuels your belief in what’s possible. This isn't about recklessly diving in; it's about taking informed , supported action that moves you closer to your goals. It's about owning your journey & recognizing that you have the power to shape your outcomes. The Femmeprenista Difference: Holistic, Supportive Beginnings At Femmeprenista, we’re committed to helping you build a business that not only thrives financially but also enriches your life. This isn't about chasing quick wins or burning yourself out before you’ve even truly begun. It's about sustainable, empowered beginnings. • Sustainable Success for Women: Ditch Burnout & Thrive

Ditch the Burnout Badge: Sustainable Success Strategies for Ambitious Women Hey lovely ladies, let's talk about something real for a minute. In the world of entrepreneurship, especially for us women, especially mums, we often wear burnout like a badge of honor. We're juggling all the things – kids, partners, businesses, households – maybe even cleaning castor oil off the carpet before a Zoom call (because, you know, toddlers and logic rarely align). We tell ourselves we're superwomen, we can handle it all. And we absolutely can – to a point. But what if there’s a smarter way? What if true success isn’t about constantly pushing to the brink, but about building a business that actually fuels your life, rather than draining it dry? Remember that feeling of being silenced or overlooked? I get it. It’s woven into my story, from those early school days when my dad had to literally shout at teachers for trying to shut me down, to navigating corporate spaces where my name wasn’t even attached to projects I'd spearheaded. It's a big part of why Femmeprenista exists. And for many of us, tech overwhelm adds another layer to the juggle – more on that later! Redefining Success: It's Not a Sprint, It's a Strategically Paced Marathon (with Occasional Sprints!) I remember a time, juggling my MBA at Cranfield (with my toddler – talk about brain overload!), when I was burning the candle at both ends. All-nighters fuelled by copious amounts of coffee, trying to absorb complex financial models while simultaneously deciphering toddler-speak. (Anyone else fluent in gibberish interspersed with demands for snacks? Just me? Okay, cool.) It felt like I was constantly in reaction mode, just trying to keep all the plates spinning. Then came the day I almost missed my eldest's school play because I was so caught up in a client project. The irony? I became an entrepreneur for this very flexibility, this ability to be present for my kids. Talk about a major face-palm moment! That was a wake-up call. What was I building all this for if I was missing the very moments I wanted the freedom to enjoy? I realised I wasn’t being strategic; I was just hustling, and that was a recipe for disaster. My own PhD journey, juggling research with two little ones (a toddler and a baby!), constantly reminds me of this – it’s a windy path, and pacing myself is key. See, our entrepreneurial journey, particularly as women building businesses around our existing lives, isn't about sprinting to a finish line. It's more like a marathon (with occasional strategic sprints when you need to seize an opportunity!), & we need to pace ourselves, fuel our bodies & minds, & make sure we're heading in the right direction. It's about working smart , not just hard . As my Mum used to say, "Hard work beats intelligence when it's smart work!" The Holistic Hustle: Why 'Balance' is a Myth, & 'Integration' is the Magic Word Now, let's get real about 'balance'. Does it exist? Maybe in some mythical land where unicorns roam & laundry folds itself. But for the rest of us, especially mums juggling multiple responsibilities, it's more about integration. It's about weaving our business into the fabric of our lives, not trying to compartmentalize everything neatly. This is where the Business Flourish Framework comes in. It’s all about aligning your mindset, your authentic marketing & messaging, building momentum through smart systems, prioritizing your well-being, & strategically leveraging technology, especially AI. It helps you build a business that genuinely supports your life. More specifically: Sharpening your mindset: Developing mental resilience, defining your vision, & overcoming those pesky inner blocks. Crafting your marketing magic: Creating a standout brand that connects with your ideal clients. Building systems for momentum: Designing smooth, efficient workflows. Prioritizing well-being: Because you can’t pour from an empty cup! Strategically integrating AI: Working smarter, not harder, using tech to amplify your results. It's the system I've developed, based on my own journey & the experiences of countless women in our community, to help you build a business that genuinely supports your life, not the other way around. Find out more about the Business Flourish Framework here Remember my analogy about planting a garden but then neglecting to water it? The Framework is your watering can, your pruning shears, & your expert gardener all rolled into one. It’s the system that underpins all our coaching here at Femmeprenista, helping you cultivate sustainable, soul-aligned success. It's the backbone of our Momentum coaching program, which helps women who are already seeing some traction in their businesses really dial in those strategic growth systems, including how to practically leverage AI for what it is – a tool to free up your time & energy! Owning Your Choices: From "It's the System" to "I'm the Solution" It's easy to get caught in the "it's not my fault, it's the system" narrative. And yes, systemic challenges absolutely exist – we Millennials got hit with a whole lot of 'new' (technology) and a whole lot of 'not so new' (stagnant wages, crazy housing costs). It’s like the price of a block of cheese is competing with my monthly mortgage payment! But what if the real power lies not in blaming the system, but in figuring out how you can navigate it? Remember, beautiful ladies, you are not a victim. You are the author of your story. You are the CEO of your life & business. Even with four kids & a PhD on my plate, I’m constantly learning this. Just last week, I had meticulously planned out my content calendar, blocked out time for deep work, even managed to sneak in a yoga session (well, 15 minutes – hey, we celebrate the small wins here!). And then? My infant decided that 3 AM was the perfect time for a full-blown party, complete with an epic nappy explosion. So much for deep work! It felt like I was back in that reactive, overwhelmed space. Setting boundaries, like scheduling that deep work time, is something I still struggle with. I remember one time when I had a full day planned, even got the kids happily occupied, & then my mum called needing help with something completely unexpected. I ended up abandoning my entire work schedule for the day. It was a frustrating lesson in how life rarely goes according to plan, but also a reminder of the need for better boundaries and systems. But then I remembered: this is my journey. It might be slower, it might be messier, but taking ownership, however imperfect, is non-negotiable. So, how do we shift from "it's the system" to "I'm the Solution"? Focus on what you can control: List three things you can control in your business today (your mindset, your marketing message, your daily schedule). Schedule 15 minutes for mindful reflection to identify any limiting beliefs holding you back. Choose one small action aligned with your biggest goal & commit to completing it. Build systems that support, not sabotage: Embrace automation, delegate where possible, & ditch tasks that drain your energy without generating results. For women leading growing businesses, explore smart AI tools to streamline everything from client onboarding to marketing automation. This is the FLOW of a well-designed business! And if you're just starting out, our Spark Program can provide the clarity and direction you need to build a solid foundation. Set boundaries like a boss: Protect your time & energy fiercely. Saying "no" to things that don't align with your goals is a superpower. Our Spark Programme can help you gain the confidence and clarity to set those boundaries effectively. Find your tribe: Connect with other women who "get it." Sharing the juggle, celebrating wins (even the small ones!), & knowing you're not alone makes all the difference. Our Femme Connect community is a judgment-free zone where you can find support, accountability partners, & masterclasses on everything from managing the mental load to making tech work for you. Join Femme:Connect Today Invest in yourself strategically: Sometimes, the smartest move is to seek expert guidance. A coach can help you identify limiting beliefs, build unshakeable confidence, & implement systems tailored to your unique needs. This is empowerment in its truest sense. Our Spark Programme can provide the initial guidance you need to define your goals and get your business off to a flying start. Ready to Ditch the Hustle & Embrace Sustainable Success? • Launch Online Service Business: 12-Week Blueprint for Femmeprenistas

From Idea to Impactful Income: My Empowering Week-by-Week Launch Blueprint for Your First Online Service Business Hey there, lovely! If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve got that brilliant spark of an idea for an online service – that little (or maybe not-so-little!) voice inside you saying, "I can do this. I can build something amazing." & honestly, you absolutely can. But let’s be real for a moment – that initial leap from idea to actually launching & earning can feel like trying to assemble flat-pack furniture in the dark while juggling toddlers, right? Exciting, yes, but also a tad overwhelming. As a fellow entrepreneur & a mum to four, I’ve navigated that beautiful chaos more times than I can count – from selling sweets in the playground to launching Femmeprenista, all while juggling babies, school runs, & even a PhD. Honestly, I get it. I really get it. That feeling of "Where on earth do I even start?" is so common, especially for ambitious women like you who are building your foundations, perhaps what we call our "Foundation Builders" – those women at the start of the journey, validating their ideas & building a solid groundwork for their businesses. You’re smart, you’re capable, but you crave clarity & a clear path through the noise. That’s exactly why I wanted to sit down with you today (cuppa in hand, of course!) & share my week-by-week launch blueprint. This isn’t about rigid rules or theoretical fluff. This is a practical, adaptable roadmap, born from my own experiences & my work with countless female entrepreneurs, designed to take you from that fledgling idea to impactful income over the next 12 weeks. It’s about demystifying the launch process & giving you actionable steps you can take, even with the delightful unpredictability of family life. Before we dive into the nitty-gritty, it's so important to remember that you're not alone on this journey, & the right support system can make all the difference. Understanding the holistic support available can truly help you find your purpose Femmeprenista Female Entrepreneur Support: Find Your Purpose as you embark on this exciting new chapter. And if, after reading the first few weeks, you feel you need a bit more dedicated support just to validate your idea & get crystal clear before diving into a full launch plan, our Spark Program Page is designed precisely for that initial spark-to-plan stage. The Heart of the Matter: Your 'Why', Your Action, Your Sanity Before we even glance at a weekly plan, let’s talk about what truly fuels a successful launch, especially when you’re a busy mum. It’s not about having all the answers or achieving Insta-perfect flawlessness from day one. Trust me on this! 1. Action & Ownership: Your Superpowers If there’s one thing I’ve learned – from my early ventures like Nisbett & George right through to my PhD research & building Femmeprenista – it’s that success hinges on consistent, smart action & taking radical personal responsibility. This blueprint is a guide, a fantastic one if I do say so myself, but you are the magic ingredient. It’s your commitment to show up, do the work (even when it’s imperfect), learn from every step, & own your journey that will make the difference. Remember that time I made a mistake in a corporate role at Apple? My first thought wasn’t blame, it was, "Okay, mistake made. How do I fix it & make sure this doesn’t happen again?" – a direct contrast to the shame I felt when one of my teachers unfairly put me down at primary school. That’s the spirit. We all stumble; it’s getting back up & owning the path forward that counts. 2. Progress Over Perfection: A Mantra for Mums Oh, the pursuit of perfection! It’s a joy-stealer, especially when you’re already juggling school pick-ups, nap schedules, & the never-ending laundry pile. Let it go, lovely. Seriously. This blueprint is designed for progress, not perfection. Small, consistent steps forward will get you to your goal far more effectively (and with far less burnout) than waiting for everything to be "just right." Celebrate every tiny win. Did you manage to draft one email today while the baby napped? Amazing! That’s progress. Remember, even if your journey feels "slower" because of your commitments – I’m doing my PhD with a baby & a toddler, alongside my older children, so I know what slower feels like – it doesn't mean you can't get there. It's down to you. 3. Building for Fulfilment: Beyond Just the Income Yes, we want to build impactful income – that’s a huge part of this! But let’s also remember the deeper "why." For me, entrepreneurship was about creating a life of flexibility, autonomy, & genuine fulfilment that corporate life, even with an MBA from Cranfield, couldn’t offer. It was about being present for my children, having control over my time, & doing work that truly lit me up. This launch isn't just about a new service; it's the first incredible step towards building a business that genuinely serves your life & your version of fulfilment. Keep that vision close. Your 12-Week Blueprint: From Idea to Impactful Income Alright, ready to dive in? Remember, this is a flexible friend. Some weeks you might fly through, others might take a little longer, especially if life throws a curveball (or a toddler throws their breakfast!). Adapt it, make it your own, & most importantly, keep moving. Phase 1: Foundations & Clarity (Weeks 1-4) This phase is all about getting crystal clear on what you’re offering, who you’re serving, & why it matters. Strong foundations here make everything else smoother. Week 1: Unearthing Your 'Why' & Validating Your Spark Deep Dive into Your Idea: What specific problem are you passionate about solving? Whose life will be genuinely better because of your service? This isn't just about a good idea; it's about a needed idea. Connect to Your Core 'Why': Why this business? Why now ? What personal experiences, passions, or skills are driving you? My decision to study fashion at UEL, for example, came from a deep intuitive pull after a less fulfilling start elsewhere. That intuition is powerful. Initial Validation: Time to step outside your head! Talk to at least 3-5 people who you think might be your ideal client. Don’t sell, just listen. What are their biggest challenges related to what you offer? What words do they use? Action: Journal on your 'why'. Conduct your first few validation conversations. Week 2: Refining Your Service & Niching Down The Transformation You Offer: Based on your validation chats, how can you clearly articulate the transformation your service provides? Go beyond features; focus on the outcome. The Power of the Niche: It can feel scary, but niching down (being specific about who you serve & what you do for them) is marketing gold. Trying to be everything to everyone often means you’re nothing to anyone. Action: Draft a clear, concise statement describing your core service, the specific problem it solves, for whom, & the transformation they can expect. Week 3: Crafting Your Irresistible Offer Packaging Your Brilliance: What exactly is included in your service? How many sessions? What resources? What support? Be specific. Pricing with Confidence (Even if it's Beta!): This can be a wobbly one, I know! Research comparable services, but ultimately, price based on the value of the transformation you provide. If it’s your very first launch, you might offer a slightly lower "beta" or "founder" rate in exchange for testimonials, but don’t undervalue yourself. Action: Outline 1-2 clear service packages with pricing. What makes them irresistible? Week 4: Truly Understanding Your Ideal Client Beyond Demographics: Who is she really ? What are her deepest pains, fears, desires, & dreams? What does she secretly wish for? What language does she use? What keeps her up at night? Where Does She Hang Out?: Which social media platforms does she frequent? What blogs does she read? What communities is she part of? Action: Create a detailed ideal client avatar – give her a name, a story. The more real she is to you, the better you can connect with her. Phase 2: Building Your Launchpad & Systems (Weeks 5-8) Now we get into the practicalities of setting up your online presence & the simple systems you’ll need. Week 5: Your Simple & Smart Tech Stack Keep It Simple, Sweetheart: You do NOT need all the fancy bells & whistles to launch. A basic landing page or simple website, a way to take bookings (like Calendly or Acuity), & a way to get paid (Stripe, PayPal) are often enough to start. Embrace Efficiency: Think about simple ways to streamline. Could an AI tool help you draft email templates or social media captions to save time? Little efficiencies add up. Need a Fast-Track? If the thought of tech setup brings you out in a cold sweat (you're not alone!), services like our Ready-to-Launch Kit Page can get your essential online presence professionally built for you, so you can focus on what you do best. Action: Choose & set up 1-2 core tech tools. Don’t overthink it! Week 6: Your Core Message & First Sprinkle of Content Nail Your Unique Selling Proposition (USP): What makes your service uniquely valuable? Why should someone choose you? Key Messaging: Develop 3-5 core messages that speak directly to your ideal client's pains & aspirations, highlighting your USP. Initial Content Ideas: Brainstorm a few blog post titles, social media update themes, or video ideas that offer genuine value & position you as an expert. Action: Write the core copy for your website/landing page (Homepage, About You, Your Service). Week 7: Pre-Launch Visibility & Connection Start the Conversation: Begin gently teasing your upcoming service on your chosen platforms. Share your excitement! This is also where I went wrong when I launched my course! I was so nervous about being judged & looking silly that I barely mentioned it anywhere! I was so concerned about what others thought of me, I really missed out in fully promoting it, & didn't see the success that was available to me. Don't be like me! If you don't put yourself out there, how do you expect people to find you? Engage & Connect: Actively engage in relevant online communities or groups where your ideal client hangs out. Offer value, answer questions, be helpful – don’t just pitch. Networking Power: Even simple online networking can be powerful. Connect with other female entrepreneurs. Action: Schedule 3-5 social media posts/emails this week that hint at your new service or address a key pain point it solves. Week 8: Finalising Your Launch Plan & Essential Checks Your Launch "Event": How will you officially launch? A free webinar? A 5-day challenge? A special launch offer promoted via email & social media? Direct outreach to your warm network? Basic Legalities: Ensure you have simple terms of service for your clients & a basic privacy policy for your website. Keep it straightforward for now. Example: A simple terms of service would outline payment terms, cancellation policies, & intellectual property rights. You can find templates online to adapt. Action: Outline your activities for launch week. Do a quick check on basic legal requirements for your service. Phase 3: Liftoff! Launch, Clients & Celebration (Weeks 9-12) This is it! Time to share your amazing service with the world. Week 9: LAUNCH WEEK! Shine Bright! Execute Your Plan: It’s go-time! Implement the launch activities you planned in Week 8. Be Visible & Confident: Show up! Share your passion. Believe in your offer. Your energy is infectious. Manage Your Energy: Launch week can be intense. Prioritise your well-being. Get enough sleep, eat well, take short breaks. This is a marathon, not a sprint. For example, schedule a 20-minute power nap if you're feeling drained – it can make a world of difference. Action: GO LIVE with your launch! Engage, answer questions, & be present. Week 10: Securing Your First Clients & Smooth Onboarding Follow Up with Heart: Follow up with everyone who showed interest. A personal touch goes a long way. Refine Your Onboarding: How will you welcome your new clients? What information do they need? Make it a seamless & exciting experience for them. Celebrate Every Single Yes!: Each client is a milestone. Acknowledge & appreciate it. Action: Meticulously follow up with all leads. Onboard your first client(s) – yay! Week 11: Delivering Excellence & Gathering Golden Feedback Over-Deliver (Within Reason!): Focus on giving your first few clients an exceptional experience. Your goal is to create raving fans. Actively Seek Feedback: Don't be shy! Ask your clients for their honest feedback. What did they love? What could be improved? This is invaluable. Testimonial Time: Once they’ve experienced the transformation, ask for a testimonial. These are marketing gold for the future. Action: Deliver your incredible service. Proactively request feedback & testimonials. Week 12: Review, Refine & Your Next Adventure The Launch Debrief: What worked brilliantly? What would you do differently next time? Every launch is a learning experience. Celebrate Your Journey: Look how far you’ve come! Acknowledge your courage, your action, & your progress. Perfection was never the goal, remember? Plan Your Next Steps: What are your goals for the next 30-60 days? How will you continue to attract clients & grow? Action: Conduct a thorough launch review. Set 1-2 new mini-goals for the coming month. This entire journey, from validating your idea to serving your first clients, is underpinned by holistic principles. It’s about aligning your mindset (your Focus ), crafting authentic marketing (your Flair ), creating efficient systems (your Flow ), & prioritising your well-being & avoiding burnout (aligning with what we call Fuel here at Femmeprenista), & even subtly leveraging smart tools to make life easier (your Fusion ). These are the pillars of our Business Flourish Framework , which guides everything we do here at Femmeprenista. But, before any of this, I remember when I first launched Femmeprenista, I was so afraid of what my old corporate colleagues would think. Would they judge me? Would they think I was throwing away my MBA? It almost stopped me in my tracks, that fear. But then I realized that their opinions didn’t pay my bills or fuel my dreams.
