- Top 10 Books for Female Founders (Especially Mums!) in 2025
Beyond the Bestseller List: My Personal Curation of 10 Transformative Books for Ambitious Female Founders (Especially Mums) to Master 2025 with Purpose & Profit Hello lovely! Let's be totally honest for a sec. As female entrepreneurs, especially when we’re juggling motherhood & the beautiful chaos that comes with it, our to-do lists are already overflowing, aren't they? The idea of adding "read more books" can feel like just another pressure. You see those endless "must-read" lists, often packed with the same old titles, & think, "When on earth am I supposed to find the time for that ?" I completely get it. Between school runs, trying to squeeze in focused work while a little one is discovering the joys of emptying kitchen cabinets (again!), & maybe, just maybe, attempting to finish a hot cuppa, time is our most precious commodity & let’s be honest, who has time to even think about all those “must-read” lists? That’s precisely why I wanted to do something a bit different. This isn't just another list of bestsellers. This is my personal, handpicked curation of 10 truly transformative books that I believe can be game-changers for us – ambitious female founders, & yes, especially for my fellow mums in the thick of it – as we look to not just survive, but thrive in 2025. These are reads that have sparked something in me, resonated with my own journey through the entrepreneurial rollercoaster (often with a toddler on my lap & a teenager needing life advice simultaneously!), & offer insights that go far beyond surface-level tips. They’re about equipping you with the wisdom to build your business with both purpose & profit, holistically, fuelling your vision & building a business that helps you live your best life. If you want to know a little more about the journey that’s led me to these insights, you can read a bit about me on About Carlene Nisbett . Think of this as your strategic shortcut through the noise, delivering high-impact, actionable wisdom that’s directly relevant to your journey. Why Bother with Books When You’re Already Juggling So Much? I can almost hear you thinking, "Carlene, seriously? Books? I barely have time to shower in peace!" & trust me, as a mum of four, currently navigating a PhD alongside running Femmeprenista, I know that feeling intimately. There have been countless times when my grand reading plans have been derailed by an impromptu art project involving glitter & most of the contents of the fridge, or my toddler daughter deciding that my highlighted notes look like a rather tasty snack. It’s that kind of beautiful chaos, isn’t it? But here’s what I’ve learned, often the hard way: strategic reading isn’t a luxury; it’s a vital tool for growth. It’s not about devouring every book out there, but about selectively engaging with wisdom that can genuinely shift your perspective, sharpen your skills, & refuel your spirit. It’s about taking personal responsibility for our own learning & expansion. I remember when my second daughter was just a baby, & I was deep in my MBA studies – finding even 15 minutes to read something not on a syllabus felt like a miracle. But one particular book on mindset, read in those snatched moments, gave me such a profound shift in how I approached challenges that it impacted not just my studies, but how I was showing up as a mother & an entrepreneur-in-the-making. I vividly recall one particularly soul-crushing week where I felt pulled in a million directions – the baby wouldn’t settle, uni deadlines loomed, & I questioned everything. It was a point I felt completely overwhelmed, doubting that could actually manage being a mother, studying, & building a business, before I even really started. However, even small inputs of the right information can have an exponential output, & that book gave me the exact tools I needed to refocus & find a way through it. So, let’s reframe "I don't have time to read" to "I can't afford not to invest strategic moments in wisdom that will propel me forward." These books are chosen to do just that – to help you build a business that truly flourishes, in harmony with the life you want to live & a thriving business, as we explore in our Business Flourish Framework, touches every part of your life, from your clarity & confidence to how you connect with your clients, streamline your days & nurture your own energy. I saw this firsthand with a client who implemented better AI-powered systems, & it meant that she was present at her daughter's school play (something she previously always missed). My Curated List: 10 Transformative Books to Master 2025 Right, let’s dive in! Each of these books has earned its place for a specific reason, & I’ve shared a little about why it’s made my list & how I believe it can help you make 2025 your most purposeful & profitable year yet. 1. Start With Why by Simon Sinek My Take: If there’s one book that cuts to the heart of building a business with soul, this is it. Sinek’s message is simple yet profound: people don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it. Honestly, I wish I'd read this before starting my first business! I spent so much time chasing shiny objects & the wrong clients, because I hadn’t yet clarified what I truly stood for, costing me valuable time & money. This was a game-changer for me when crystallising the mission for Femmeprenista. It helped me move beyond just services to the core purpose of empowering women like you. It’s about creating a brand that genuinely connects & resonates on a much deeper level than just features & benefits. Transformative Power for 2025: In an increasingly noisy world, a clear "why" is your ultimate differentiator. This book will help you articulate your core purpose, ensuring your marketing messages have genuine flair & attract your ideal clients, those who believe what you believe. It’s foundational for building a resilient, mission-driven business that can weather any storm. 2. Abundance Now by Lisa Nichols My Take: Oh, Lisa Nichols! Her energy is infectious, & her wisdom on cultivating an abundance mindset is pure gold. This book is like a powerful pep talk & a practical guide rolled into one. She talks about filling your own cup so it overflows, which, as mums, we know is easier said than done, right? But she provides such actionable steps to shift from lack to abundance in all areas – mindset, finances, relationships. It’s about taking personal responsibility for your own well-being & energy. Transformative Power for 2025: To truly thrive, your inner game has to be strong. This book will equip you with the tools to build unshakeable self-belief, overcome limiting money blocks, & cultivate the resilience needed for the entrepreneurial journey. It’s about fuelling yourself so you can show up fully for your business & your family. 3. Atomic Habits by James Clear My Take: This book is a masterclass in making small changes that lead to remarkable results. As busy founders, we often feel overwhelmed by big goals. Clear breaks it down into such manageable, science-backed strategies for building good habits & breaking bad ones. I found his emphasis on systems over goals particularly powerful. It’s not about massive overhauls, but tiny, consistent actions that compound. Think about trying to implement a new marketing strategy or even just a consistent morning routine when you’ve got a toddler who views sleep as a mere suggestion – small, atomic habits are the only way! Transformative Power for 2025: Mastering your habits is key to creating efficient flow in your business & life. This book will help you build the consistent practices needed for marketing, sales, content creation, & even self-care: Start by implementing 10 minutes of dedicated social media posting each day Set an alarm for 30 minutes earlier, & dedicate the time to content writing for that high-value HVCO, that you want to launch. If you are struggling with your brand's social media content, take a look back at the "Star With Why," book so you can deep-dive your business's core values Making progress feel less like a battle & more like a natural consequence of smart systems. 4. $100M Offers by Alex Hormozi My Take: Alex Hormozi tells it like it is, & this book is a no-nonsense guide to creating offers so good, people feel stupid saying no. It challenged me to think much bigger about the value I provide & how to articulate it. It’s not just about what you sell, but how you package it & the transformation you promise. It’s about understanding your client's deepest desires & crafting an irresistible solution. Transformative Power for 2025: If you want to increase your profit, you need offers that truly convert. This book will give you the framework to design & communicate high-value offers that stand out, attract premium clients, & make your sales process so much smoother. It’s pure gold for developing your business flair & impact. To implement this, try to give different payment options, give more than what you get and always be available for your clients. 5. Dare to Lead by Brené Brown My Take: Brené Brown’s work on vulnerability, courage, & shame has been so influential. Dare to Lead takes these concepts into the realm of leadership, & it’s incredibly relevant for us as founders. It dismantles the myth that leadership is about having all the answers or being invulnerable. Instead, it’s about courage, connection, & empathy. Reflecting on some of my corporate experiences, where I often felt like a cog & saw leadership that was far from inspiring, this book provides a powerful antidote & a blueprint for leading with authenticity. Transformative Power for 2025: Whether you’re leading a team or just leading yourself & your vision, this book will empower you to show up as a more courageous, authentic, & effective leader. It’s about fostering a culture (even if it’s just a culture of one to start!) built on trust & psychological safety, which is crucial for innovation & sustainable growth, ensuring your well-being is part of your leadership style. This all serves towards having Focus & Clarity to show up to your true potential. 6. Alchemy: The Surprising Power of Ideas That Don't Make Sense by Rory Sutherland My Take: I absolutely adore Rory Sutherland’s take on marketing & human behaviour! He challenges conventional logic & shows how often the most effective solutions are psychological, not just rational. This book is packed with fascinating examples of how small, seemingly illogical changes can have a massive impact. It makes you realise that value can be created in the mind just as much as in the factory. It encourages a playful, curious approach to problem-solving, which is so refreshing. Transformative Power for 2025: In a world saturated with data, understanding the psychology behind why people choose what they choose gives you a serious edge. This book will spark your creativity & help you find innovative, often low-cost, ways to enhance your marketing, improve customer experience, & stand out. It’s a fantastic way to inject fresh flair & even a touch of smart, human-centred AI-driven thinking into your strategies, so you can connect to a brand new audience. 7. From The Trash Man To The Cash Man by Myron Golden My Take: Myron Golden’s story & teachings are incredibly inspiring. This book is about shifting your mindset from seeing problems to seeing opportunities for service, which in turn creates wealth. He emphasizes that money is a reward for solving problems. It’s a powerful reframe that can help overcome any discomfort around selling or charging what you’re worth. He really gets you to think about the immense value you bring to the table. Transformative Power for 2025: If you're looking to boost your profits with purpose, this book will help you refine your focus on high-value problem-solving. It encourages a proactive, value-driven approach to business that naturally leads to increased income & impact. It’s about understanding the direct link between the problems you solve & the profit you generate. This leads to a fantastic Flow & consistent approach. 8. The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks My Take: Ever felt like you’re on the verge of a breakthrough, only to unconsciously sabotage yourself? That’s the "Upper Limit Problem" Gay Hendricks talks about. This book was a revelation for me in understanding those invisible ceilings we hit. It’s about identifying & transcending those self-imposed limitations so you can operate in your "Zone of Genius." It’s particularly poignant when you’re juggling so much – it’s easy to believe you only have capacity for ‘so much’ success. Transformative Power for 2025: We all have upper limits. This book will help you identify yours & give you the courage to break through them. It’s about stepping fully into your potential, embracing your unique talents, & creating a business & life that truly excites you. Essential for sharpening your focus & achieving sustainable success. So make the steps today and set up your sales procedure. 9. Deep Work by Cal Newport My Take: In our hyper-distracted world, the ability to focus deeply is a superpower. Cal Newport makes a compelling case for cultivating deep work habits. As a mum trying to snatch pockets of focused time amidst the whirlwind of family life – you know, when my toddler daughter’s finally napping, my teenage daughter isn’t having a crisis, & Cappuccino, our older dog, isn’t demanding a walk right now – this book offered practical strategies that actually work. It’s not about working more; it’s about working smarter & with intense focus. Transformative Power for 2025: To achieve significant goals, you need dedicated, focused effort. This book will help you structure your days & weeks to carve out time for the cognitively demanding tasks that truly move your business forward, dramatically improving your productivity & the quality of your output. It’s a game-changer for achieving real flow & allows you to declutter that busy mind of yours. 10. Tech Humanist: How You Can Make Technology Better for Business and Better for Humans by Kate O'Neill My Take: With AI becoming such a huge part of our business landscape – & something we champion here at Femmeprenista through our Fusion pillar – it’s crucial to approach it thoughtfully. Kate O’Neill’s work beautifully articulates how we can use technology, including AI, in ways that are not just efficient but also ethical, empathetic, & human-centred. It really resonates with my belief, & my partner's PhD research into AI & micro-businesses, & also reflects my own PhD research, that tech should enhance our humanity, not replace it. It’s about finding that sweet spot where AI amplifies our efforts & helps us connect more meaningfully. Transformative Power for 2025: As AI continues to evolve, understanding how to integrate it strategically & humanly will be key. This book will help you think critically about technology, ensuring you leverage its power to create better experiences for your clients & build a business that aligns with your values, fostering a sense of well-being for everyone involved. So ensure that you set those boundaries early. Beyond the Page: Turning Wisdom into Action Now, lovely, reading these books is just the first step. The real magic happens when you take the insights & apply them. Pick one idea that resonates, one strategy that sparks excitement, & commit to implementing it. Remember, you are the CEO of your business & your life. Taking ownership of applying new knowledge is where transformation truly begins. Consider implementing a high-value system so you aren't missing bed-time stories. Implement the 15-minute rule when you're lacking inspiration (a timer is your friend!) Reflect & create that "Must-Have" offer by brainstorming with a friend (or your partner) & give each other honest & open feedback! Small actions lead to big results. Your Year of Purposeful Growth Awaits I truly believe that arming yourself with the right wisdom is one of the most empowering things you can do as a female founder. These books aren't just about business tactics; they’re about holistic growth, personal evolution, & building a business that allows you to live a life you genuinely love – a core part of our ethos here at Femmeprenista. - Embrace the Chaos: Female Entrepreneur's Messy House is OK!
Embracing the Sticky House: Why "Messy" is the New Badge of Honour for Female Entrepreneurs Right, let's be honest. How many times have you looked around your house & thought, "It looks like a bomb went off in a glue factory?" Sticky fingerprints on every surface, a rogue sock clinging precariously to the chandelier (how did it even get there?!), & a background hum of cartoons that you’ve inexplicably started singing along to. If this sounds familiar, then darling, you're in good company. Welcome to the beautifully chaotic world of the female entrepreneur. It’s something I know all too well. Just the other morning, I was trying to finalise a presentation for a potential corporate client, desperately trying to appear calm & collected on the Google Meet call. Meanwhile, my toddler daughter had decided to redecorate the living room wall with my favourite pink lipstick, creating what she proudly called her “masterpiece.” The masterpiece, unfortunately, was positioned perfectly behind me in the camera's view, and let's just say the client was probably more focused on the evolving abstract art than my sales pitch. Anyone else relate to the "one perfectly applied eye makeup look because disaster struck" kinda morning? Honestly, for Millennial mothers especially, the pressure to "have it all" is intense. We’re told we can be super-mums, build booming businesses, maintain a spotless home, & still have time for a green smoothie & a yoga class before the school run. It's exhausting, isn't it? & frankly, it’s just not realistic for most of us. As I often tell my clients, especially those just starting out, acknowledging this reality is the first step to building a business that truly serves your life, not the other way around. But what if I told you that the "sticky house," the beautiful mess, is actually a sign of a life fully lived? A testament to your entrepreneurial fire & your profound love as a mum. Reframing the Mess: It’s Not a Failure, It’s Feedback This whole idea of a perfectly balanced life is, frankly, a bit of a myth. We’re not meant to be juggling balls in the air like a circus performer. Life, especially as a female entrepreneur, is more like navigating a wild, unpredictable river. There will be calm stretches, exhilarating rapids, & the occasional unexpected splash of, let's say, forgotten coffee granules turning the kitchen counter into a sticky science experiment (anyone else been there?). The key is to shift your perspective. Instead of seeing the mess as a sign of failure, see it as feedback. Feedback that you are fully engaged, that you’re pouring your heart into both your business & your family. It’s a sign that you're prioritizing what truly matters—connection, creation, & contribution. Don't you find that a more empowering narrative? Now, I'm not saying we should embrace chaos for chaos' sake. Systems are crucial, especially when you're juggling multiple demands. As I often say, it's the systems that save us! But I’m talking about letting go of the pressure to be perfect, releasing the guilt of not having it all figured out, & choosing to find the joy in the journey, sticky patches & all. Practical Tips for the Perfectly Imperfect Entrepreneur So how do we create a life that's fulfilling, integrated, & yes, even somewhat sane amidst the stickiness? It’s about working smart, not just hard, & embracing key principles for building a business that flourishes. Here are a few things that have really helped me – and trust me, I’ve learned these the hard way. Prioritize & Strategize: What absolutely must get done today to move your business forward? Create a simple priority list, using a tool like Trello, with just THREE high-impact tasks. What ONE thing could you do today, using the 80/20 rule, that would have the biggest impact? That's where I put my focus. This reflects the core 'Focus' principle of the Femmeprenista Business Flourish Framework – prioritizing for maximum impact. Focus on those high-impact tasks, perhaps leveraging smart AI tools like Jasper.ai to automate or streamline less critical ones, like scheduling social media posts or managing your email inbox. This 'Fusion' element is about working smarter, not harder. Then, schedule dedicated time for your family, even if it's just 20 minutes of uninterrupted playtime with the kids or a quick coffee date with my husband. There was one morning I was so focused on ticking off my to-do list that I barely registered my six-year-old's excited chatter about her drawing. Later that day, her quiet disappointment made me realise how easily we can miss those precious moments if we're not careful. This brought home the real meaning of "being present," even when juggling all the things. It’s not about more time; it’s about prioritizing your time. Build a Support System (& Be Specific): We all need help. But often, we’re not clear about what kind of help we truly need, or we feel we "should" be able to manage it all. Don’t fall into that trap. Be specific about your needs. Maybe it's outsourcing a few tasks, like hiring a virtual assistant to manage your emails or scheduling, using a meal delivery service to reclaim precious evening time, or arranging a regular babysitter so you can have dedicated work blocks. One specific example I always remember is my 'dogs in a crate' reality versus having childcare - even a short time knowing the kids were safe & cared for somewhere else made all the difference in my ability to get work done. Embrace Imperfection: Seriously, let go of the Superwoman complex. Done is better than perfect, especially when you’re juggling a business, a family, & the daily demands of, you know, keeping tiny humans alive & relatively clean. Celebrate the small wins, the messy milestones, & the fact that you’re showing up every day, even when it feels like you’re wearing mismatched socks (or only one!). Remember my "cringe, but true" test? Sometimes the imperfect moments are the most real & relatable ones. Prioritize Well-being: Remember that thing called self-care? It's not a luxury; it’s essential – it’s the 'Fuel' that keeps us going. Even small moments of refueling—a quick walk in nature, a cup of tea in silence, five minutes of meditation—can make a huge difference. Find what energizes you & schedule it in, just like you would an important client meeting. There was one time I forgot to schedule in that walk & ended up snapping at my kids over spilled juice; it was a stark reminder of why self-care isn't optional. You can’t pour from an empty cup. I'm reminded of something Lisa Nichols said: "Your job is to fill your own cup, so it overflows. Then you can serve others, joyfully, from your saucer." This one is particularly challenging for me; I often struggle to shut off the "to-do" list in my head, even when I know I need a break. What I’ve started doing now is using a timer. I literally set a timer for even just 15 minutes, & during that time, I focus entirely on something that refuels me, whether it's reading a book or just cuddling with my youngest. It doesn't always go to plan (toddlers don't respect timers, it seems!), but it’s helped me create some much-needed boundaries. From Sticky House to a Flourishing Business (& Life) Building a successful business as a mum is not about magically achieving a perfect balance. It’s about intentionally designing a life where your business & your family can coexist & even thrive amidst the beautiful, sometimes sticky, chaos. I've found that applying these approaches, grounded in the Femmeprenista Business Flourish Framework, has made a profound difference in how I navigate my own entrepreneurial journey as a mother of four, balancing my PhD research & running multiple businesses. If this resonates, you might find it helpful to explore the framework further. Business Flourish Framework It’s about shifting your perspective, reframing the mess, & embracing the "sticky house" not as a burden but as a badge of honour. It's a symbol of a life fully lived, a business built with passion, & a family loved fiercely. As Paulo Coelho said, “When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.” So, take a deep breath, mama. You've got this. What’s one small, perhaps slightly sticky, step you can take today to create a more integrated, fulfilling life? Share your wins (& your messy moments!) in the comments below. Let's connect! - Unlock Motherhood Business Negotiation Skills | Femmeprenista
From Toddler Negotiations to Boardroom Triumphs: How Motherhood Hones Your Business Superpowers Ever found yourself locked in a high-stakes negotiation… with a two-year-old? "But I want it NOW !" Sound familiar? Thought so! It turns out, navigating the daily "boardroom" of motherhood equips us with some seriously impressive negotiation skills – skills that translate powerfully to the actual boardroom & beyond. Let’s be honest, who needs Harvard when you’ve got tiny humans teaching you the art of persuasion every single day? We, as mothers & entrepreneurs, are constantly flexing our negotiation muscles, often without even realising it. Think about it: coaxing a reluctant toddler into their car seat, mediating a sibling squabble over the last biscuit, or creatively convincing a picky eater that broccoli is actually a miniature tree (and therefore, totally cool to eat). These aren't just parenting moments; they're masterclasses in strategy, patience, & quick-thinking adaptation – all essential ingredients for success in the world of business. Honestly, I think my toddler is a better negotiator than some of the suppliers I've worked with! Remember that time my teenage daughter absolutely had to have the latest iPhone – the rose gold one, no less? It wasn't in the budget, & honestly, her current phone was perfectly fine (though try telling a teenager that !). It turned into a full-blown negotiation, complete with tears, slammed doors, & a PowerPoint presentation (yes, really!) outlining why she needed this upgrade. The PowerPoint, bless her heart, even included graphs showing the declining social status associated with owning an older phone model – talk about market research! She presented her case (with the persuasive skills of a seasoned lawyer, might I add), and I listened, laying out my own perspective – reminding her of our family budget & her own spending habits. We eventually reached a compromise: she'd contribute £50 of her savings, take on extra chores (walking the dogs – Cappuccino & Espresso – twice a week), & show consistent responsibility with her existing phone for three months. It wasn't just about getting her a phone; it was about teaching her the value of negotiation, compromise, & working towards a goal. And guess what? That same principle applies when you're negotiating a deal with a client or supplier. It’s about finding mutually beneficial solutions, not just getting your way. I feel that experiences in my role as a Mother deeply informs my role as a Business Coach for Women. The Unsung Negotiation Skills of Motherhood (Your Secret Weapons!) Let’s unpack some of these superpowers we hone daily: Patience & Persistence: Anyone who's ever potty-trained a toddler knows that patience isn't just a virtue; it’s a necessity! In business, this translates to the persistence needed to build a brand, nurture leads, & navigate those inevitable setbacks. You know, the entrepreneurial version of cleaning yoghurt off the ceiling – it's messy, it takes time, but you get there eventually! I feel that’s one of the many perks of being a Business Life Coach, helping women push through challenges with expert guidance. Creative Problem-Solving: Need to get a wriggly baby changed on a park bench with no changing mat in sight? You become an origami master of improvisation! This resourcefulness is pure gold when facing unexpected business challenges, like a website crash just before a major launch or a sudden shift in the market. Understanding Non-Verbal Cues: Long before they can talk, our little ones communicate volumes through their expressions & body language. We become experts at deciphering those subtle cues – a skill that is invaluable when reading a client's hesitation during a sales call or understanding the dynamics of a team meeting. Honestly, I sometimes feel like I can read minds after years of decoding toddler-speak! Adaptability & Flexibility: Let’s be honest, our best-laid plans often go out the window the moment a little one decides nap time is actually party time. As mothers, we're constantly pivoting & adapting, just like you need to in the ever-changing world of business. Sometimes, the initial plan is like an elaborate sandcastle – beautiful, but easily swept away by the tide! You might twist your ankle on this windy path, but the difference is, you get back up again. You always do. From Playroom to Boardroom: Applying Your Skills Strategically Here's the empowering bit: these skills aren't just "mom skills"; they're leadership skills. And they're highly sought after in the business world. A recent LinkedIn report highlighted "adaptability" and "creative problem-solving" as two of the top skills employers are looking for – skills mothers hone every single day. So, how do you consciously leverage these superpowers? If you're a Foundation Builder, struggling to balance your growing business with family life, these next few steps are for you. Reframe Your Perspective: Stop seeing motherhood as a distraction from your business & start seeing it as a training ground. Yes, the juggle is real (believe me, I know!), but every negotiation, every tantrum, every bedtime story is an opportunity to hone your skills. There were times when I felt completely overwhelmed, like I was drowning in sippy cups and spreadsheets. There were days I’d literally hide in the bathroom for five minutes of peace, just to breathe and regroup! It was only when I started consciously reframing my “mom skills” that things started to shift… finding my own voice & building systems, much like negotiating with a determined toddler, truly saved me. And ironically, those very systems freed up time so I could actually enjoy those precious moments with my little ones without the constant weight of business overwhelm. It’s a win-win, right? Identify Your Strengths: Which of these negotiation skills do you excel at? Are you a master of creative solutions? A whiz at reading between the lines? Own those strengths & find ways to apply them strategically in your business. Which one of these hidden assets is calling to you to really step into your entrepreneurial power? Practice & Refine: Just like any skill, negotiation gets better with practice. See every client interaction, every team meeting, every networking event as a chance to refine your approach. Don't be afraid to experiment, to adapt, & to learn from those "oops" moments. Your 3-Step Action Plan: 1. Identify 3 ‘Mom Skills’ you use daily. 2. List 3 Business Tasks these skills could improve. 3. Actively apply one of these skills to a business task this week. My own entrepreneurial journey has been profoundly shaped by the lessons I've learned juggling motherhood & business. One of my clients, a brilliant graphic designer, constantly undervalued her work. By helping her reframe her "mom skills" of managing multiple projects & meeting tight deadlines (sound familiar?!) as valuable business assets, she doubled her prices & tripled her client base in just six months. It hasn't been easy – there have been plenty of chaotic moments (like trying to clean something unidentifiable off the carpet just before an important call) – but these experiences have made me more resilient, resourceful, & strategic. I know this is where my expertise as a Business Coach for Female Entrepreneurs shines. And that’s a win-win! You can find out more about how the Business Flourish Framework can help you master these skills & build a thriving, AI-powered business, incorporating principles of mindset (Focus), strategic communication (Flair), efficient systems (Flow), & wellbeing (Fuel), all enhanced by AI (Fusion), . This integrated approach is especially valuable for busy mothers who need strategies that work within the reality of their daily juggle, not against it. This really speaks to our core value of Action. It’s a Space for Growth & Empowerment: Coaching helps you identify limiting beliefs, build unshakeable confidence, & step into your power as a leader. This is Empowerment in its truest sense. It considers your whole life – your energy, & the importance of prioritising your well-being, ensuring your business energises rather than drains you. - Software for UK Business Women: Boost Success & Sanity in 2025
Software Savvy: Streamlining Your UK Business for Success (And Sanity!) in 2025/2026 Right, let's be honest. As ambitious female entrepreneurs, especially those of us juggling the joys (and let's face it, the beautiful chaos) of motherhood, the sheer amount of stuff we need to manage can feel utterly overwhelming. I get it. I really get it. Four kids, a PhD, two miniature pinchers who think they're Rottweilers... my life is a constant symphony of "Mummy, where's my...?" punctuated by the frantic barking of Espresso chasing a rogue dust bunny. Sound familiar? But here's the thing: It doesn't have to be this way. While I might occasionally find myself cleaning up a toddler art project featuring my favourite MAC Ruby Woo lipstick as the medium (true story! My two-year-old's interpretation of abstract expressionism, apparently.), I've also learned the power of working smart , not just hard. And a crucial part of that is having the right software in your arsenal. It’s about building systems, not just struggling through the day-to-day. Think of it like this: You wouldn't try to build a house with just a hammer, right? You'd need a whole toolbox of specialized tools to get the job done efficiently and effectively. The same applies to building your business. The right software can be your secret weapon, freeing up your precious time and mental space to focus on what truly matters – growing your business and being present for the people (and pets!) you love. This post shares my curated list of essential software recommendations for UK small businesses in 2025/2026, specifically tailored for ambitious women like you. I've taken a holistic view, considering not only functionality, but also ease of use, integration with other systems, and affordability (because who isn't bootstrapping in the early days?). This reflects the 'Flow' and 'Fusion' pillars of the Femmeprenista Business Flourish Framework – creating momentum through smart systems and strategic AI integration. Level Up Your Productivity and Focus First things first: reclaiming your time and energy. These tools will help you streamline your daily operations, so you can spend less time on admin and more time on strategy and growth. Project Management and Collaboration: Trello (or Asana, if you prefer a more structured approach). These tools are brilliant for managing tasks, collaborating with team members (even if your "team" is just you and your virtual assistant), and keeping everything organized. Seriously, imagine never again having that heart-stopping moment of realizing you forgot a crucial deadline. Bliss. Scheduling and Appointments: Calendly or Acuity Scheduling. Say goodbye to endless email back-and-forths trying to find a time that works. These tools let clients book directly into your calendar, freeing you from the scheduling scramble (and letting you avoid those dreaded double-bookings). Customer Relationship Management (CRM): HubSpot (free version is amazing) or Zoho CRM. Keeping track of all your client interactions, leads, and follow-ups can feel like herding cats (especially if you also have actual cats to herd!). A good CRM system helps you keep everything in one place, nurture your leads effectively, and build stronger client relationships. This is especially crucial as you start scaling your business – imagine trying to remember every client's birthday or preferred communication style without a system! It's like trying to manage my four kids' school schedules, extracurricular activities, and doctor's appointments all in my head. A CRM is your memory bank and your organizational superhero. I remember the days before project management software – it felt like herding Espresso and Cappuccino during their zoomies! Much like my PhD research has shown, having clear systems is often the key to making consistent progress, even when facing many demands. For instance, a common theme I'm exploring in my doctoral work is how Black female entrepreneurs, often juggling multiple roles and responsibilities, leverage technology and systems to achieve greater efficiency and maintain work-life balance. It's a constant balancing act, but the right tools make all the difference. Ever feel like scheduling is a full-time job in itself? I think there should be a scheduling app for playdates, honestly! Just last week, I spent a good hour coordinating a playdate for my six-year-old, and it was more complicated than planning a product launch. A scheduling tool can give you back that precious time – and your sanity! Amplify Your Marketing Flair Now, let's talk about getting your message out there. These tools will help you connect with your ideal clients, build your brand, and automate your marketing efforts, all while making the whole process less daunting. Email Marketing: Mailchimp or Flodesk. Building an email list is essential for any online business, and these tools make it super simple to create beautiful, engaging newsletters, automate your email sequences, and connect with your audience on a deeper level. Ever feel like you're talking to a wall on social media? Email is where the real conversations happen. Plus, you own your email list. Think of it as your digital garden – you nurture it, tend to it, and it grows beautifully over time, providing a direct line to the people who truly value your work. Social Media Management: Buffer or Hootsuite. Juggling multiple social media accounts can feel like a full-time job in itself. These tools let you schedule your posts in advance, track your engagement, and manage everything from one central dashboard. Imagine actually having a Sunday morning where you're not glued to your phone, frantically trying to post inspirational quotes between sips of lukewarm coffee. Imagine the possibilities! This is particularly essential as you grow from Foundation Builder to Scaling Leader—you want to have systems that can scale with you and your goals. Graphics and Visual Content: Canva. Even if you’re not a designer (and trust me, I’m not – stick figures are my forte!), Canva makes it ridiculously easy to create beautiful graphics, social media posts, presentations, and even marketing materials. I used Canva to design my first business cards, and it still shocks me that they look halfway decent. It's been my secret weapon, from jazzing up Instagram posts to creating professional-looking lead magnets. Fuel Your Well-being (Because You Can't Pour from an Empty Cup) Remember, darling, you can't pour from an empty cup. As female entrepreneurs, especially mothers, we tend to put everyone else's needs first. But if you're constantly running on fumes, you won’t be able to show up fully for your business or your family. These tools can help you prioritize your well-being and carve out those precious moments of self-care (even if it's just five minutes of quiet time with a cuppa). Mindfulness and Meditation: Headspace or Calm. Even a few minutes of mindfulness can make a huge difference to your stress levels and focus. I'll often sneak in a quick meditation during my toddler's naptime – it's my little sanity saver. Honestly, those few minutes allow me to actually be present with them when they wake up, rather than still mentally scrolling through my to-do list. Fitness and Movement: Peloton or Nike Training Club. Finding time for exercise can feel impossible, especially with little ones running around. These apps make it easy to squeeze in a quick workout at home, whenever you have a spare moment (even if it’s just while the pasta’s boiling). The Power of Fusion: Embracing AI Now, let's talk about the future – AI. This isn't some sci-fi fantasy; it's happening now, and it's transforming how we work and live. A recent study by McKinsey ( https://www.mckinsey.com/featured-insights/future-of-work/the-economic-potential-of-generative-ai-the-next-productivity-frontier ) showed that AI could automate up to 30% of current work activities, freeing up human potential for more creative and strategic endeavors. AI tools can help you automate even more tasks, gain deeper insights into your business, and free up even more of your precious time. Think of AI as your super-efficient virtual assistant, ready to take on those repetitive tasks that drain your energy and steal your focus. My partner (who's a personal workaholic) is even studying generative AI and micro-businesses, which gives us some interesting dinner conversations, let me tell you! I've been experimenting with Jasper AI for creating some initial blog post outlines. It's been a game-changer for overcoming writer's block, especially when I'm juggling PhD research, four kids, and trying to keep Espresso from eating my laptop charger. However, it's not all sunshine and roses; the output still needs quite a bit of editing to inject my personality and ensure it aligns with the Femmeprenista brand voice. It's definitely a learning curve, but the time-saving potential is huge. There are countless AI tools emerging all the time, so the key is to identify the specific areas where AI could make the biggest difference in your business, whether it’s content creation, customer service, or data analysis. Don’t let the tech jargon scare you; start small, experiment, and embrace the power of AI to streamline your business and reclaim your time. It’s about working smarter, not harder, you know? Overcoming the Tech Overwhelm I know, I know, it can all feel a bit overwhelming. Trust me, when I first started my business (after my experience with Nisbett and George made me realise I needed more control over my schedule), I was convinced that tech was out to get me. I remember trying to set up my first website and feeling like I was drowning in code. It took me a whole weekend just to figure out how to change the font! But here’s the secret: It gets easier. Your 3-Step Checklist for Conquering Tech Fear: Identify Your Biggest Tech Pain Point: What’s the one tech-related task that makes you want to pull your hair out (or reach for the wine)? Is it wrestling with website updates, managing your email list, or trying to decipher social media analytics? Pinpoint the specific area that’s draining your energy and stealing your focus. Explore Simple Solutions: Once you've identified your tech nemesis, do a quick Google search for "easy solutions for ". Look for tools or platforms that are specifically designed for non-techies. You'd be amazed at the user-friendly options available! For instance, if building a website feels overwhelming, explore drag-and-drop website builders like Wix or Squarespace. If social media scheduling is a nightmare, check out user-friendly tools like Buffer or Later. Start Small and Celebrate Wins: Don't try to learn everything at once. Pick one tool or platform and commit to using it for a specific task. Start with a small, achievable goal, like scheduling your social media posts for the week or creating a simple landing page for a new lead magnet. As you master each small step, celebrate your progress! This builds confidence and momentum. Remember, darling, you’re not alone in this tech journey. - Mastermind for Scaling Leaders: Unlock Your Business Growth
Is a Mastermind the Missing Piece in Your Business Puzzle? Hey lovely ladies, Ever feel like you're navigating this entrepreneurial rollercoaster solo, even when surrounded by a crowd? You're smashing it, building your empire, but there's a niggling feeling… a sense that you could be soaring even higher with the right support. You're not alone, lovely – we get it. & honestly, who isn't craving that extra bit of lift? I’ve been there, building my business while juggling four kids, two energetic Miniature Pinschers (one’s a chilled elder stateswoman, the other a furry tornado!), & a PhD. Talk about organised chaos! I often joke that some days, I’m more referee than CEO! See, this is the reality of entrepreneurship for so many of us, isn't it? We're all just trying to make it work, especially when the cost of everything, from a block of cheese to childcare, seems to be skyrocketing while our wages stay stuck in the past decade. It's like we're running on a treadmill, putting in the effort but not seeing the financial gains we deserve. So, finding smart ways to work together, to share wisdom and support each other, becomes even more crucial. Join our Femme Connect community if you're craving connection & support before we dive in. It's absolutely free & full of amazing women just like you, all navigating similar challenges with creativity and resilience. https://www.femmeprenista.com/femmeconnect Join Femme:Connect Today Now, back to the main event… masterminds. Are they worth the hype, or just another shiny object distracting you from the real work? Let's unravel this, shall we? More Than Just a Buzzword: Why Masterminds Matter for Scaling Leaders For those of you who are actively scaling (my Scaling Leader-types), constantly pushing boundaries, & already seeing some serious traction – a mastermind can be a total game-changer. You know, like that moment when you realize you can finally afford that VA you've been dreaming of – suddenly, the possibilities feel endless! It’s not a magic wand, not by any stretch. It's more like… discovering that missing puzzle piece that suddenly makes the whole picture clearer, stronger, &, dare I say, more beautiful. You see, as a Scaling Leader, you’re often in this weird in-between space. You’ve outgrown the “just starting out” phase, but you’re not quite ready for a full executive board. You're leading the charge, often feeling the weight of all the decisions, strategies, & systems on your shoulders. You know you need strategic guidance, that next-level push, but traditional consulting can feel impersonal & generic. What if, instead of just another expert opinion, you had access to the collective wisdom and lived experiences of women who are walking a similar path? Imagine brainstorming solutions with peers who understand the "caster oil on the carpet" moments and the strategic vision you're building. That, my friend, is the power of peer advisory. This is where a mastermind shines. It's a space where you're not just learning from an expert (though that's valuable too), but also gaining insights, support, & accountability from a group of equally ambitious women who are on similar, though unique, paths. Finding my tribe within a supportive mastermind has been invaluable, though my own journey wasn't always smooth sailing. In one mastermind, the facilitator, while brilliant, focused heavily on mindset work (which, don't get me wrong, is foundational - my 'Focus' pillar is all about that!). However, I was craving more tactical, systems-focused strategies at that point in my business. It was a learning experience! Now I make sure to thoroughly vet the structure & content offered by any mastermind before investing – something I guide my Momentum clients through as well, because the right fit is everything. Beyond Group Coaching: The Power of True Peer Advisory Let's be clear: a mastermind is NOT "group coaching in disguise." There's a fundamental difference. Group coaching offers valuable support & a shared learning experience, no doubt. But a true mastermind is about peer advisory. It’s a space for brainstorming, strategic thinking, problem-solving, & accountability, driven by the collective wisdom & experience of the group. According to a study by the Association of Executive Search & Leadership Consultants, 82% of CEOs who participate in peer advisory groups report significant improvements in their decision-making & leadership effectiveness. Credible Source on Peer Advisory Benefits - If Available I remember when I was trying to figure out how to scale my business while recovering from my fourth C-section (yes, fourth!) & juggling PhD research. It felt like trying to build a house of cards in a hurricane. Honestly, the exhaustion was next-level! What I craved was a trusted group of women who understood the unique pressures & challenges of scaling & the beautiful, messy reality of motherhood. Someone to say, "Girl, I get it. It's hard, but you're not alone." One thing I wish I'd known before joining my first mastermind was the importance of clear expectations around time commitment. While the content was fantastic, and I met some amazing women, I struggled to balance the weekly meetings and prep work alongside everything else on my plate – four kids, PhD research, and, you know, keeping the furry tornadoes from chewing the furniture! In hindsight, a bi-weekly or even monthly format with more flexibility, like access to recordings, might have been a better fit. Imagine a mastermind that truly adapts to your life, not the other way around. That's the kind of support we're all craving, isn't it? And let's be honest, who has the bandwidth for another commitment unless it's made super simple and truly impactful? Choosing Wisely: Critical Questions to Ask Before You Invest A mastermind is an investment, both financially & in terms of your precious time & energy. So, before you jump in, ask yourself these critical questions: Does the mastermind's focus align with my specific growth stage as a Scaling Leader & business goals? If you're a Scaling Leader trying to build smart systems & attract high-value clients, a mastermind focused on basic business setup won’t cut it. It's like signing up for an advanced yoga class when you're still trying to master downward dog! For example, if your focus is on scaling your marketing efforts and implementing AI-driven strategies (hello, Fusion!), look for a mastermind that specifically addresses those areas. What is the typical pricing structure for this mastermind (e.g., monthly fee, one-time investment)? How does this investment align with my current budget & projected ROI? What payment options are available? For instance, some masterminds require a significant upfront investment (like the $25k program I joined a few years ago - talk about stretchy!), while others offer more flexible payment plans. It's about finding what works for your financial flow. What is the expected time commitment per month, including meetings, prep work, & any optional activities? How does this fit into my current schedule & other responsibilities? Don't forget to factor in the "hidden" time commitments, like catching up on recordings if you miss a live session (because, let's be real, life with kids and a business rarely goes exactly to plan!), or engaging in online discussions. Think about how much time you can realistically dedicate each week or month without adding to your overwhelm. Is the facilitator experienced in guiding high-level strategic discussions & fostering genuine peer advisory? Or is it just a glorified group coaching program? Remember, you’re looking for a facilitator who can orchestrate collaborative problem-solving & facilitate deep, strategic thinking within the group, not just deliver pre-packaged content. For instance, a strong facilitator will ask powerful, thought-provoking questions, create a safe space for vulnerability, and skillfully guide the group's collective wisdom, rather than just lecturing from the front of the room (or Zoom screen!). You want someone who can draw out the brilliance in everyone and create those "aha!" moments that shift your perspective and unlock new possibilities. Does the mastermind attract members who are my peers – women who are at a similar stage in their business journey, with compatible values & aspirations? The power of a mastermind lies in the synergy of the group. You want to be surrounded by women who inspire you, challenge you, & understand your unique perspective. After all, it is hard to be your most authentic self if you are constantly having to explain yourself. For example, if you're a Scaling Leader focused on tech-driven solutions and integrating AI into your business, a group of Foundation Builders might not be the best fit, even if they're lovely people. Is there a clear structure & process for the mastermind, or is it a loose, unstructured gathering? A well-designed mastermind will have a clear framework for meetings, goal setting, accountability, & ensuring each member receives valuable support & guidance. Think about the kinds of systems that work best for you in your business – do you thrive on clear processes and schedules, or do you prefer more flexibility? Finding a mastermind that aligns with your preferred working style is key. Does the mastermind foster a culture of genuine collaboration, support, & high-level connection? This is about more than just networking; it’s about creating a trusted space where you can share your challenges, celebrate your wins, & build meaningful relationships with women who are on similar paths. What I've learned is that true connection isn't about forced networking or superficial interactions – it's about genuine vulnerability and a shared commitment to supporting each other's growth. If the vibe feels competitive or superficial, it’s probably not the right fit. Different Models, Different Benefits: Finding the Right Fit for You Masterminds come in various flavours, from small, intimate groups to larger cohorts, from virtual gatherings to in-person retreats. There's no one-size-fits-all. The key is finding a model that resonates with your personality, your business needs, & your lifestyle. For instance, if you’re like me & constantly juggling family commitments, a virtual mastermind offering flexibility & access to recordings might be a lifesaver. If you thrive on in-person connection & deep immersion, a retreat-style mastermind could be your jam. I remember seriously considering joining a mastermind that involved monthly in-person retreats, but the logistics of coordinating childcare for four kids, including a toddler who's currently obsessed with climbing everything (yes, everything !), made it feel impossible at this stage. That's when I realized how much easier it was for some of my peers who either had older children or more local family support. That experience really drove home the point that the "right fit" isn't just about the content, it's about aligning with your current life stage and all the wonderful chaos that comes with it. So, my lovelies, find what truly works best for you . From Isolated Leader to Supported CEO: The Mastermind Transformation Remember that fable about the Little Red Hen? She worked so hard planting, harvesting, & baking, but no one wanted to help until the bread was ready. How many of us have felt that way in our entrepreneurial journey? Like we're doing all the heavy lifting alone, only for others to suddenly appear when the "bread" is baked and ready to share? A mastermind changes that narrative. It creates a space where you’re not the only one sowing the seeds, tending the fields, and baking the metaphorical bread. It's about sharing the load, the lessons, and the celebrations with women who get it. One particularly challenging moment I faced in a mastermind was when we were brainstorming launch strategies for our respective businesses. I was feeling incredibly overwhelmed by the tech side of things – setting up landing pages, automating email sequences, all that jazz. I remember thinking, 'Oh my god, they're all so far ahead of me technically'. I almost didn't share my struggles, fearing I would sound like a "tech dummy." But then I remembered my dad's fierce advocacy for me at school, when he'd literally shout at teachers who tried to silence me. It reminded me of the importance of speaking up, even when it feels scary. So I took a deep breath, shared my tech overwhelm with the group, and you know what? Not only did I not sound like a dummy, but two other women confessed to feeling the exact same way! We ended up sharing tips, resources, and even collaborating on a tech solution that benefited all of us. That experience transformed my fear of being "behind" into a powerful opportunity for connection, collaboration, and learning. For Scaling Leaders, who are often juggling so much & wearing all the hats, the right mastermind can be a game-changer. It's an investment in your growth, your sanity, & the future of your business. If you’re ready to take that next step, our Momentum Coaching program could be the perfect fit. It focuses on building those smart systems that free up your time and energy, attracting high-value clients, and mastering the mindset of a Scaling Leader. https://www.femmeprenista.com/momentum Explore Momentum Coaching Ready to Explore? - Sisterhood for Female Entrepreneurs: Find Your Tribe & Thrive
The Power of Sisterhood: Why Your Tribe is Your Secret Weapon in Business (and Motherhood) Ever feel like you're navigating the entrepreneurial rollercoaster solo, clinging on for dear life while simultaneously juggling screaming kids, overflowing laundry baskets, & that ever-present "mum guilt"? Trust me, I get it. The beautiful chaos of motherhood & the demands of building a business can feel like a constant balancing act, & let's be honest, sometimes it feels like you're teetering on the edge of a very messy, glitter-covered cliff. But what if I told you there's a secret weapon, a hidden superpower that can transform your entire entrepreneurial journey? It's not another fancy marketing tactic or a complicated productivity hack. It's something far simpler, yet profoundly powerful: the unwavering support of a sisterhood, your tribe. Now, I know what you might be thinking: "Carlene, I barely have time to brush my teeth, let alone cultivate a 'tribe'." & Believe me, I hear you. I'm a mum of four, a PhD student, & have two miniature pinchers, Cappuccino & Espresso, who think the living room is a racetrack! My days are a masterclass in organised chaos. There have been many mornings where I’ve stepped out the door with one purple eyeliner on (because it was the only one I could find after my toddler decided to redecorate the bathroom with my makeup bag) while simultaneously trying to untangle Espresso from the curtains she’d somehow managed to braid herself into. But here’s the thing: finding your tribe isn’t about adding another to-do to your already overflowing list. It’s about finding a source of strength, inspiration, & practical support that makes the entire journey less of a solo climb & more of a joyful, shared adventure. Beyond Networking: The Transformative Power of Authentic Connection Let's be clear: this isn't just about generic networking advice. This isn't about collecting business cards at stuffy events while secretly wondering if anyone there really gets the unique challenges you face as a woman, a mother, & an entrepreneur. This is about something much deeper – forging genuine connections with women who understand your journey, celebrate your wins, offer a shoulder (or a virtual hug) during the tough times, & share invaluable insights from their own experiences. I remember attending networking events in my early corporate days, feeling like a fish out of water. I’d listen to conversations about golf & mergers while thinking, "Do these people even know what it’s like to try & pitch a marketing campaign while simultaneously stopping your toddler from eating the dog’s food?". It wasn’t until I started connecting with other female entrepreneurs, particularly mothers, that I finally felt seen, heard, & understood. There was a time, early in my entrepreneurial journey with Nisbett & George, when I felt so lost & overwhelmed, like I was the only one struggling to balance motherhood & business. Connecting with other women who got it was a game-changer. These weren’t just business contacts; they became my sounding board, my cheerleaders, my source of inspiration, &, dare I say, my sanity savers. They’re the ones who get the "one eyeliner on" mornings, the "Dora the Explorer on repeat" work sessions, & the sheer exhaustion that comes with juggling it all. They’re also the ones who remind me of my strength, celebrate my every win (no matter how small), & offer practical advice, like how to use AI to automate my scheduling so I can actually have dinner with my family. My approach to business is all about integrating smart systems & strategies, which is why AI is woven throughout my coaching. From Isolation to Empowerment: How Sisterhood Fuels Your Business Flourish Building authentic connections within a supportive community isn’t just a nice-to-have; it’s a strategic investment in your holistic success. Here’s how: Combating Isolation & Building Resilience: The entrepreneurial journey can be incredibly isolating. It’s easy to feel like you’re the only one struggling with self-doubt, tech hurdles, or the constant pressure to do it all. Connecting with other women who share similar challenges normalizes those struggles & builds resilience. When you realize you’re not alone, you’re far less likely to give up when things get tough. What’s one area you're currently feeling stuck in? Let's break it down together! There was one time I was about to shut down my entire business after a particularly brutal launch that flopped spectacularly. I felt like a complete failure, questioning every decision I’d made. But then I reached out to my tribe, shared my vulnerability, & they rallied around me with such incredible support & practical advice that I not only didn’t quit, I actually pivoted my entire strategy & ended up having my most successful quarter yet. Remember, even if your journey looks different, like mine with four kids & a PhD, taking ownership is key. & Having a supportive tribe to cheer you on makes that ownership feel less daunting. It’s so true that "It’s only in the dark that you see the stars" as Martin Luther King Jr. said. My research into the experiences of Black female entrepreneurs highlights this need for community even more. Fueling Collaboration & Shared Learning: A supportive community isn’t just about emotional support; it’s a powerhouse of shared knowledge & collaborative opportunities. I’ve learned more from my fellow female entrepreneurs than I ever did in a boardroom. We share tips on everything from marketing strategies to childcare hacks, creating a powerful ecosystem of mutual support & learning. It’s like having a team of expert advisors on speed dial, all rooting for your success. Unlocking New Perspectives & Challenging Limiting Beliefs: One of the most valuable aspects of a supportive community is the ability to challenge limiting beliefs & gain fresh perspectives. Reflections informed by my ongoing PhD research into Black female entrepreneurship often show me that we sometimes internalize negative narratives about our capabilities or our worth. My research suggests that having a strong support network is a significant factor in helping women overcome these internalized barriers and achieve greater business success. A supportive tribe can help you recognize & dismantle these beliefs, empowering you to step into your full potential. They’ll remind you that you’re not "just a mum"; you’re a brilliant, capable entrepreneur with a unique vision & the power to make it happen. Join the Sisterhood: Your Invitation to Femme:Connect I created Femme:Connect precisely because I believe so deeply in the power of sisterhood. - Content Ideas for Busy Mums: Unlock Authentic Blog Posts
Your 'Empty' Content Well is Actually Overflowing: Carlene’s Guide to Unearthing Authentic Blog Ideas When You're Juggling It All Oh, the dreaded blank page. That blinking cursor mockingly reminding you that your content calendar is looking a bit, well, sparse. If you’ve ever stared at your screen, trying to remember the last time you brushed your hair (or maybe it was just yesterday - mum brain, right?!), with the rising panic of "I have absolutely nothing to say!", then please know, you are so, so not alone. As a CEO, a mum of four (ranging from a dynamic teenager to a delightful baby, plus our two lovely Miniature Pinschers, Cappuccino & Espresso, who add their own special brand of organised chaos!), & someone who’s also navigating the joys of PhD research, believe me, I get the juggle. I intimately understand that beautiful, relentless chaos. Just last week, I was struggling to come up with blog ideas about generating content ideas – the irony! What snapped me out of it? My toddler decided my notes were her new coloring book, using my favourite red pen! The frustration turned into inspiration: "How to find focus when your to-do list is literally being scribbled on by a two-year-old". It’s about finding the story in the stumble. I know the pressure to be consistently visible, to share valuable insights, & to keep that content engine humming, all while trying to remember whose turn it is for school pick-up or if anyone fed the dogs. It’s a lot. Sometimes it feels like your brain is just too full of 'life admin' to squeeze out a single coherent blog idea. But here’s a little secret I’ve learned, & it’s something I share with the incredible women in the Femme Connect community: that feeling of having an “empty” content well? It’s usually a delightful illusion. In fact, your well is probably overflowing – you just need to know where to dip your bucket. The Goldmine You're Already Sitting On: Your Lived Experience The biggest mindset shift I want to offer you today is this: stop thinking of content creation as inventing something new & start thinking of it as excavating what’s already there. Your unique journey, your daily interactions, the challenges you’ve overcome (both in your business &, yes, even in motherhood!), your insights, your opinions, even your vulnerabilities – these are your richest, most potent, &, most importantly, authentic content sources. This isn't about pretending to be someone you're not or regurgitating what everyone else is saying. It’s about understanding that the real magic, the stuff that makes your ideal clients lean in & say, "She gets me!" comes from sharing your truth. Developing that authentic brand message, that unique flair that only you possess, starts with embracing your own story. When I was navigating my MBA at Cranfield with a baby at home, or now, tackling my PhD with my two youngest, those experiences, though challenging, have given me perspectives I wouldn't trade. They shape how I approach business, problem-solving, & supporting other women. Your experiences are doing the same for you, right now. As studies have shown, customers are 56% more likely to purchase from a brand they feel connected to. Unearthing Ideas the Femmeprenista Way: Practical Strategies for Busy Mums Okay, so we’ve established you’re a walking, talking goldmine of content. But how do you actually dig it out when you’ve got approximately 37 seconds between a school run & a client call? Here are a few time-efficient strategies I personally use & recommend, designed for ambitious Scaling Leaders who are, quite frankly, juggling it all: 1. The Client Question Cache: Your Audience is Telling You What They Need This is probably the easiest & most effective place to start. What are your ideal clients, or even your current clients, really asking you? Think about the questions that pop up in your DMs, emails, or during consultation calls. What are the recurring themes in discovery calls? What are the "silly" questions they apologise for asking (which are never silly, by the way!)? What challenges are they repeatedly facing that you help them solve? Every single one of these is a potential blog post, social media update, or even a video topic. You’re not guessing what they want to know; you’re directly addressing their stated needs. This instantly positions you as an expert who listens & provides solutions. It’s a core part of developing marketing that truly connects because it’s rooted in genuine understanding. For instance, a client recently asked me, "How do I even start systemising my business when I barely have time to breathe?" That question sparked a whole series of content around time-saving AI tools. #ActionStep: Spend 15 minutes reviewing your recent client communications & jot down 3 recurring questions. If you’re finding that this cache is a bit sparse because you’re not 100% clear on who your ideal client is or what burning problems you solve for them, that foundational clarity is exactly what we help you build in programmes like our Spark Program Page . But even just tuning into your current interactions can yield so much! 2. Your Journey as a Guidepost: Share Your Lessons (& All!) Your entrepreneurial path, with all its twists, turns, triumphs, & "learning opportunities" (as we like to call them!), is incredibly valuable to others. What hurdles have you overcome? How did you navigate them? My own journey from corporate roles at places like Apple, through various start-ups, to founding Femmeprenista while juggling motherhood & further education, wasn’t a straight line. Sharing the realities of that, the resilience needed, helps others feel less alone. What mistakes have you made that others could learn from? Being authentic means being real. What pivotal moments or insights changed your trajectory? What did you wish you knew when you were starting out? Sharing these relatable lessons doesn’t make you look weak; it makes you human & trustworthy. It shows you’ve been in the trenches & have emerged with wisdom. #ActionStep: Think back to a major business mistake you made & without self-judgment, summarise the top 3 lessons others could take from it. And if you're looking for a broader context on how we view purpose-driven entrepreneurship, our thoughts on the Business Flourish Framework might resonate here. 3. Insights from the 'Beautiful Chaos': Motherhood as a Superpower How many times have you solved a complex business problem with a solution that sparked while you were mediating a sibling squabble or trying to explain something to your six-year-old? Managing family life cultivates skills like negotiation, resourcefulness, & boundary-setting – all essential in business too. Think about it: successfully navigating toddler negotiations for screen time is excellent practice for high-stakes client negotiations! How does managing your family life & your business spark unique perspectives? What lessons from parenting (patience, negotiation, simplification!) apply to your business? How do you find snippets of time for your business amidst the beautiful chaos, & what can others learn from your strategies for well-being & energy management to keep that vital fuel tank from running empty? Just the other day, I was struggling with a client's marketing strategy, feeling stuck in the details. It wasn't until my school-aged daughter was practicing her times tables that I realized my client needed a similarly structured approach, breaking down a vast goal into simple, repeatable actions. If my daughter could master her 7s, my client could definitely master her marketing! Our lives as mothers give us a unique lens; don’t underestimate its value. #ActionStep: List 3 skills you've honed as a mum that directly translate into strengths in your business. 4. Your Passion & Conviction Points: What Lights You Up or Ruffles Your Feathers? Authenticity shines brightest when you talk about what you genuinely care about or what you believe needs challenging. What topics in your industry genuinely excite you? What could you talk about for hours? What common advice do you see that you constructively disagree with? What’s your alternative perspective? This connects to having real clarity on your unique stance. What are your core values & how do they show up in your business? When you speak from a place of passion or strong conviction (respectfully, of course!), your energy is infectious. It differentiates you & attracts people who share your values or appreciate your bold thinking. #ActionStep: Write down 3 things you are genuinely excited to share & commit to creating content on one of them this week. Content is About Connection, Not Perfection One of the biggest hurdles I see, especially for female entrepreneurs navigating the often messy middle of building a business, is the fear of not being "good enough." The fear of typos, of not sounding like a literary genius, of putting yourself out there & being judged. Can we agree to let that go? The primary goal of your content is to build genuine connections & provide real value to your audience. It’s not about achieving literary perfection or winning a Pulitzer. It’s about showing up, sharing your unique perspective, & helping someone feel seen, understood, or inspired. Done consistently, with heart, is far more powerful than perfectly crafted but rarely published. This is where the true work of building your business happens, by taking consistent, empowered action. If you're ready to move beyond perfectionism & finally start creating content that truly connects, I encourage you to explore how programmes like our Launch Programme page can help build momentum: Launch Programme page . Own Your Narrative, Share Your Spark Ultimately, taking ownership of your unique narrative & consistently sharing your perspective is one of the most powerful, sustainable ways to build your brand, attract your soul clients, & establish your authority. It's an act of personal responsibility that directly fuels your business growth. Think of it as an integral part of your overall strategy, as vital as any other pillar in our Business Flourish Framework . Every interaction, every challenge, every insight gained through focusing your mindset, honing your marketing flair, streamlining your operational flow, fuelling your wellbeing, or even integrating new AI tools to create greater efficiency, is a potential story waiting to be shared. I know how overwhelming it can feel. I vividly recall one month when I was launching a new program, juggling school holidays, & battling a nasty cold. I felt like I had absolutely nothing left to give. What pulled me through? Remembering my "why" – to empower women like you to create businesses that light them up & give them freedom. So, lean into that “why,” lovely. Your content well isn't empty, lovely. It's brimming with your experiences, your wisdom, & your unique voice. It’s time to start sharing it. Remember: action alleviates anxiety! - Work-Life Integration for Mums: Ditch the Myth & Flourish!
Work-Life Integration for Ambitious Mums: Ditch the Balance Myth & Fuel Your Flourish Right, let’s have a real talk. How many times have you heard that elusive phrase "work-life balance" & felt a pang of, well, something between guilt & utter exhaustion? It's like trying to perfectly balance a spinning plate on a stick while juggling flaming torches &, oh yeah, simultaneously potty training a toddler. Honestly, lovely, it’s a myth, & it's time we ditched it. As a mum of four, a PhD researcher, & a business owner (plus, let's not forget, a pet mum & a definite wine lover), I get the juggle. I’ve had those mornings where I’ve not only walked out the door with one eyeliner on because my two-year-old decided to finger-paint the dog with my mascara, but also realized I'd put my skirt on inside out during the chaos. It's like trying to have a serious business conversation while the baby uses my laptop as a drum set – you know that feeling, right? I've even tried to record a podcast with Espresso, our hyper puppy, "singing" along in the background. It’s real life, & it's why, here at Femmeprenista, under The Thrivology Company, we talk about work-life integration, not balance. We believe in empowering women like you to build businesses that fit your actual lives, not the other way around. The big secret? Prioritizing your well-being is not a luxury; it’s the absolute foundation for long-term business success. It’s not selfish; it’s strategic. Because, lovely, you can’t pour from an empty cup. As Lisa Nichols says, “your job is to fill your own cup so it overflows.” How can you expect to lead a thriving business, inspire your team (if you have one), & be present for your family if you're running on fumes? So, how do we move beyond the superficial “balance” narrative & actually create a sustainable, flourishing life as an ambitious female entrepreneur? Let's dive in. Reframing Self-Care: From Indulgence to Investment Let’s be honest, the guilt is real. Society often tells us mums that putting ourselves first is selfish. But what if I told you that investing in your well-being is the single most powerful thing you can do for both your family & your business? Think about it this way: your energy, your focus, your ability to make sound decisions – these are all directly linked to how well you're taking care of yourself. When you're rested, nourished, & feeling good, you're a better leader, a better mum, & a better you . Remember Simone Biles? A powerhouse athlete who prioritized her mental health, showing the world that true strength comes from knowing your limits & taking care of yourself, even under immense pressure. That, my friend, is leadership. It’s about owning your well-being & refusing to let anyone dim your shine. And it applies to business just as much as it does to gymnastics. Practical Strategies for the Time-Starved Entrepreneur "But Carlene," I hear you say, "I barely have time to shower, let alone meditate or go for a yoga class!" I hear you. I really do. This isn't about adding more to your to-do list; it's about working smarter – a key principle of our Business Flourish Framework: Female Entrepreneurs' Blueprint for Success . It’s about making small, consistent changes (psychological moonshots, as Rory Sutherland would call them) that have a big impact. My own journey, especially juggling four kids & a PhD, has taught me this is non-negotiable. My PhD research often highlights how female entrepreneurs, particularly mothers, really struggle with this, so it's something I'm passionate about addressing. Here are a few "Juggler's Shortcuts" to integrate self-care seamlessly into your day, inspired by the FLOW principles of our framework: Micro-Moments of Mindfulness: No time for a full meditation session? Take five deep breaths before answering emails, or savour your morning coffee without distractions (easier said than done, I know, but trust me, it makes a difference). For instance, try setting a timer for just one minute & focusing on your breath - it's amazing how grounding that can be. Even just a minute or two of focused breathing can shift your energy. It’s about finding pockets of presence in the chaos. Movement Snacks: Can’t fit in a full workout? Take a brisk walk during your lunch break (even if it's just around the block!), do some stretches while the kids are having their tea, or dance around the kitchen with them. It all counts! I often squeeze in 10 minutes of stretching while my toddler is engrossed in her play kitchen – it's a win-win. Remember, small, consistent actions add up. It's about integrating movement, not achieving perfection. Boundary Boss: Set clear boundaries around work hours. This can be tough , especially in the early days, but it’s crucial. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned (and now teach in our programs) is the importance of protecting your time & energy. When you're "off," be truly off. Like, actually close the laptop, rather than just minimizing it & promising yourself you’ll “just check one email.” Put away the laptop, silence the notifications, & be present with your family. Tech as Your Ally: Leverage technology to streamline your business & reclaim time. Implement efficient systems & automate repetitive tasks. For example, I use Jasper.ai to help me generate content outlines and marketing copy, which saves me hours each week. This allows me to focus my energy on the more strategic aspects of the business and, you know, maybe actually finish both eyebrows before a client call! I also rely heavily on Calendly for scheduling meetings & appointments, eliminating endless back-and-forth emails. Seriously, working smart , not just hard , is the name of the game. There are so many amazing AI tools out there that can help you with everything from scheduling social media posts to managing your inbox. We delve into this more in our Business Flourish Framework page, where the Fusion pillar highlights the power of AI integration. Specifically, Fusion shows you how to practically weave AI into your marketing, systems, and even your daily mindset practices to reclaim your precious time & energy. Mindset Shifts for Sustainable Success Work-life integration is as much about mindset as it is about practical strategies. It’s about shifting those limiting beliefs that are holding you back, much like the women I work with in my Momentum Coaching Program discover. One of the biggest mistakes I made early on was trying to do everything myself & neglecting my well-being completely. It led to a major burnout moment during a product launch – I ended up needing two weeks off to recover, which really impacted my sales & momentum. It was a harsh lesson, but it taught me that self-care isn't just important; it's essential for sustainable business growth. Reframe Self-Care as a Non-Negotiable: Treat self-care like a business meeting – schedule it, protect it, and show up for it. Block out specific times in your calendar for exercise, mindfulness, or even just 15 minutes to enjoy a cuppa in peace. I know this seems almost impossible sometimes, but even scheduling 5 minutes can make a difference. Trust me, your business will thank you. Ditch the "Supermum" Myth: Delegate, outsource, or simply let go of tasks that drain your energy and don’t align with your core business goals. I once spent an entire Saturday trying to design my own website graphics, only to realize I could have outsourced it for a fraction of the cost and had a much better result. It's about working smart & knowing your strengths. Embrace Imperfection: Done is better than perfect, lovely. Remember, you’re building a marathon, not a sprint. Celebrate the small wins along the way, even if everything isn’t exactly as you envisioned it. I’ve learned this lesson many times, often with castor oil involved (another story for another day!). The aim is progress, not perfection. As I always say, don’t let your learning lead to knowledge - let it lead to action! Own Your Progress & Fuel Your Flourish This is about building a life & a business that energize you, not drain you. It’s about creating a sustainable model for success, using the principles of the Business Flourish Framework: Female Entrepreneurs' Blueprint for Success , that allows you to be both a powerful CEO & a present, loving mum. What's one small step you can take today to prioritize your well-being? Share it below! I'd love to hear from you. It can feel lonely juggling it all, but remember, you're not alone. - Female Entrepreneur Journey PhD: Embrace the Chaos & Thrive
From Chaotic Mornings to PhD Dreams: The Heart of Femmeprenista Ever feel like you're juggling flaming torches while balancing on a tightrope, all while trying to look effortlessly graceful? Yeah, me too. Especially in the mornings! And pursuing my PhD while building Femmeprenista? Let's just say it adds another flaming torch to the mix. Picture this: four kids, two slightly unhinged Miniature Pinschers (one a chilled elder stateswoman, the other a furry tornado), a half-finished cup of tea that’s gone decidedly cold, and a looming deadline. Sound familiar? That’s my everyday reality. The beautiful chaos that fuels my passion & honestly, the very reason Femmeprenista exists. It’s not always easy – there are those days when the little one decides that my laptop is a drum set, or Espresso, the puppy, decides to redecorate my office with shredded tissues five minutes before a client call. But hey, that's life! This isn't just another "about us" story. It's a raw, real glimpse into the "why" behind the strategies, the systems, the mindset shifts, & the fiercely supportive community I've poured my heart into creating. It's about the journey from those chaotic mornings to pursuing my PhD dreams, a journey I know so many of you are on, too. See, my path to Femmeprenista wasn't a straight line. It was more like a winding country lane, with a few unexpected potholes & scenic detours along the way. From selling sweets in the playground (yes, really!) to navigating the corporate maze at Apple & Electrolux, to the intensity of my MBA at Cranfield (juggling lectures & a teething toddler – don't even ask!), every step has shaped my understanding of what it truly means to be a woman building a business in today’s world. As Cody Sanchez might say, it’s not about fame, it’s about freedom. & let's be honest, it's not easy. Especially for us millennials. We're the generation that got handed the shiny new tech but also got saddled with stagnant wages, sky-high housing costs, & the constant pressure to "do it all," often without the traditional family support structures our parents had. I get it. I live it. I see you, mama, hustling with that one eyeliner on because you were too busy rescuing the rug from a rogue toddler art project. We’re in this together. But here’s the thing: I’m a firm believer that even when the system feels stacked against us, we have the power to create our own opportunities. It’s about working smart, not just hard. It's about finding our voice, building unshakeable confidence, & creating a business that not only thrives but also allows us to truly live. It’s an entrepreneurial journey, not a destination. As Jim Rohn said, “Success is nothing more than a few simple disciplines, practiced every day.” The Turning Point: When an MBA Led Me Back to the Playground The decision to pursue my MBA at Cranfield was a pivotal moment. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, & dreading the thought of returning to a corporate world that felt increasingly misaligned with my values & the life I wanted for my family. Honestly, the thought of going back felt like being a cog in the wheel. I remember vividly thinking, “This just seems ridiculous, there must be a better way.” The MBA was my attempt to find that better way, a stepping stone to a more senior role, a bigger paycheck, & maybe, just maybe, a bit more control over my time. The irony is, the MBA didn't lead me to a better corporate job. It led me back to that little girl selling sweets in the playground, the one with the entrepreneurial spark that had been dimmed but never extinguished. Even after graduating, the weight of it all felt crushing. I was a new mum, navigating the demands of motherhood while trying to apply all this new knowledge. One particularly difficult day, post-MBA, I found myself surrounded by textbooks, with a crying baby on my lap & a never-ending to-do list. It suddenly hit me – what if I poured all this energy and knowledge into building something of my own? The intense, transformative experience at Cranfield, surrounded by incredibly driven people from all over the world, reawakened my entrepreneurial drive. It made me realize that even with a fancy MBA, a higher salary within someone else’s vision wouldn't necessarily equal a richer, more fulfilling life. It really solidified for me that honing my mindset was essential. For me, life is about quality, not just quantity. Isn't it for you too? That realization was the seed of Femmeprenista. I knew I wasn't alone. I knew there were other women out there, juggling families & dreams, navigating the beautiful chaos, craving flexibility, autonomy, & the chance to make a real impact. Beyond the Hustle: Building a Business that Flourishes Femmeprenista isn’t about hustle culture. It’s about building a business that truly flourishes, one that’s deeply rooted in your values, your energy, & your vision for the life you want to create. It's about putting yourself higher on your own ‘to do’ list. As Michelle Obama said, "We need to do a better job of putting ourselves higher on our own ‘to do’ list." It's about prioritizing your wellbeing – something we often forget as busy entrepreneurs, but it’s the fuel that keeps us going. It's about setting up smart systems that work for you, leveraging technology to streamline your processes & reclaim your time – this creates flow and momentum. And it’s about honing your mindset , overcoming those limiting beliefs, and stepping into the powerful leader you're meant to be. Reflections informed by my ongoing PhD research into Black female entrepreneurship constantly highlight the critical role of personal responsibility in achieving entrepreneurial success. This means taking ownership of our entrepreneurial journey, even when the path is winding & the obstacles are real. It means asking ourselves, “What small, smart steps can I take today, even amidst the chaos, to move closer to my vision?” You can learn more about how we approach this here: How We Work / Business Flourish Framework You Are Not Alone: Finding Your Tribe One of the biggest challenges I faced on my entrepreneurial journey was the feeling of isolation. It’s easy to feel like you’re the only one struggling, the only one navigating the messy middle, the only one questioning if you’re even cut out for this. Trust me, you’re not. That’s why community is at the heart of Femmeprenista. We offer tailored support for women at every stage of their development, from the Foundation Builder taking those first tentative steps, to the Scaling Leader optimizing for growth, to the Visionary Leader crafting her legacy. Whether you’re wrestling with tech overwhelm, refining your marketing message, or simply need a dose of encouragement from women who get it, finding your tribe is invaluable. Our Femme:Connect Community Page is a space for connection, collaboration, & celebration, a place to share wins, ask “silly” questions (trust me, there’s no such thing!), & remember that you are not alone on this entrepreneurial journey. Taking the Next Step: Your Entrepreneurial Journey Starts Now Building a thriving business while juggling all the other demands of life can feel like a monumental task. But I promise you, it’s possible. It starts with taking ownership, focusing on the things that truly move the needle, building a strong foundation, & surrounding yourself with a supportive community. I often think of the quote "I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul," from the poem Invictus by William Ernest Henley. It’s a powerful reminder that we have the power within us to shape our entrepreneurial journey and destiny. What’s one small, smart step you can take today to own your progress? Foundation Builders: If you're just starting out, join a specific Facebook group for early-stage entrepreneurs. Look for groups that offer support, resources, and a safe space to ask questions. Scaling Leaders: If you're ready to level up, identify one task you can automate today to reclaim some time. Look at tools like Zapier or Calendly to streamline your workflows. Visionary Leaders: If you're looking to expand your impact, schedule a 15-minute brainstorming session to clarify your vision for the next quarter. Focus on one key area where you want to make significant progress. Ready to build your entrepreneurial dream? If you're a Foundation Builder, book a completely free 15-minute SPARK strategy session to map out one ultra-clear, income-generating step you can execute in the next 30 days. - Mumpreneur Business Systems: Taming Chaos & Thriving
From Nappy Changes to Niche Clarity: Navigating the Hilarious Realities of the Mumpreneur Juggle Right, let's be honest, the image of the perfectly poised entrepreneur, effortlessly balancing a thriving business & a blissful family life, is about as real as a unicorn riding a hoverboard. Especially when a recent survey by 99designs found that over 60% of female entrepreneurs cite balancing family responsibilities as their biggest challenge. . I’ve been there. You’ve been there. We all have our war stories. I mean, as if the constant "price of a block of cheese" inflation check wasn't enough for us millennials, right? We're trying to juggle new ventures while the "good salary" has been the same for 10 years! It's like we're expected to spin straw into gold – and braid our daughters’ hair at the same time. But what if I told you these "oops" moments are not just inevitable, they're actually opportunities? Opportunities to connect more deeply with your audience, to showcase your human side, & yes, even to grow your business. Intrigued? I thought so! Grab your cuppa (or wine, no judgment here – it's definitely wine o’clock somewhere!), and let’s dive into the hilarious, messy, and ultimately empowering reality of being a female entrepreneur who also happens to be a mum. The Beautiful Chaos: When Life Interrupts "Work" (and Vice Versa) Picture this: You're delivering a killer webinar, sharing your expertise with the world, feeling like a total rockstar. You're nailing it! Then, from the other room, you hear it – the unmistakable wail that can only mean one thing: Code Brown situation. On your toddler. During your time to shine. Your heart sinks (along with your carefully crafted professional facade). Or, another classic: You finally carve out a precious hour for strategic planning. You've got your fancy notebook, your colored pens, your vision board strategically placed for maximum inspiration. You're ready to map out your next million-pound idea. And just as the brilliant thoughts start flowing, your six-year-old bursts in, demanding to know why their hamster isn't wearing a tutu (because, obviously, all hamsters need tutus). Sound familiar? Thought so! I've had versions of these scenarios play out more times than I can count. Like that time I was midway through recording a training video when my two-year-old decided to redecorate the living room with my entire supply of purple glitter. Let’s just say it added an unexpected (and frankly, quite fabulous) sparkle to the whole production! See, that's where humour can save the day! Turning "Oops" into Opportunity: Embracing Authenticity and Imperfection These interruptions, while often frustrating (and sometimes mortifying), offer a goldmine of relatability. If you're a Foundation Builder juggling the mumpreneur life, your audience, especially if they’re in the same boat, will instantly connect with your humanness. Embrace the chaos! A well-placed self-deprecating comment about the joys of toddler life or a quick aside about the background symphony of children's television can turn a potentially awkward moment into a connection point. I remember once completely bombing a client pitch because my toddler decided to stage a dramatic protest against naptime right outside my office door. I felt terrible at the time, like I'd let both my client and my daughter down. But looking back, that experience taught me the invaluable lesson of bringing my whole self to my work, imperfections and all. And ironically, that client later told me that my authenticity, even in that chaotic moment, was one of the reasons they decided to work with me. It resonated. Just last week, despite my carefully planned schedule & AI-powered systems, I ended up mediating a sibling squabble while simultaneously trying to answer client emails. It's a windy path, this entrepreneurial journey, right? Remember, people buy from people they know, like, & trust. & nothing builds trust faster than authenticity. Sharing these "behind the scenes" glimpses, while keeping professional boundaries where necessary, shows your audience that you're not just a polished expert; you're a real person navigating the same beautiful mess as they are. It humanizes your brand, making you more approachable and, dare I say, lovable. And isn't that we all want as female entrepreneurs? Practical Strategies for Navigating the Juggle (Because Systems Save Lives!) Okay, so embracing the chaos is great, but how do you actually manage these moments without your business (and sanity) imploding? It's all about systems, darling! Having efficient systems in place, much like our 'Flow' pillar in the Business Flourish Framework, is like having a secret weapon in your entrepreneurial arsenal. My ongoing PhD research into female entrepreneurship highlights how essential robust, AI-driven systems ('Fusion') are for scaling sustainably, especially for those juggling the demands of motherhood. Here's a quick 3-step checklist, a bit of ‘Focus’ to get started: Time Blocking Like a Boss: Schedule EVERYTHING. Client calls? Blocked. Strategic planning? Blocked. Family time? Absolutely blocked! Even 15 minutes to play trains with your toddler? You bet it’s blocked! This keeps you focused & minimizes interruptions. Batching Tasks for Maximum Efficiency: Group similar tasks together. Answering emails? Do it all at once. Creating social media content? Knock it out in one focused session. This minimizes context switching & frees up mental energy – valuable ‘Fuel’ for us busy mums! Automate, Automate, Automate: Leverage those brilliant AI tools – pure ‘Fusion’ in action. Think automated email sequences, social media scheduling, even AI-powered transcription. Remember, AI empowers you to work smarter, not harder. Here are a few additional strategies, a bit more ‘Flair’ to attract those ideal clients & keep your business flowing smoothly: Preparation is Key: Before any client-facing activity (webinar, call, meeting), anticipate potential interruptions. Have a backup plan for childcare, ensure your workspace is as childproof as possible, & have a quick escape route planned. Embrace the Mute Button: This is your best friend. Use it liberally! If you need to deal with a sudden interruption, mute, handle it swiftly, & return with a smile. Transparency & Humor: If the interruption is unavoidable, acknowledge it with humor. A quick, relatable comment can diffuse awkwardness & build connection. Set Clear Boundaries (Where Possible): Establish clear boundaries between “work time” and “family time.” This could involve dedicated work hours, a designated workspace, or a clear signal to your family that when you're in your office, you're "at work." Prioritize Your Well-being (Fuel Your Fire): Self-care is essential. Carve out time for yourself, even if it's just 15 minutes for tea or meditation. A refreshed you is a more effective entrepreneur & a happier mum. From Chaos to Confidence: You've Got This! The juggle is real. I get it. But it's also incredibly rewarding. Building a business while raising a family is a testament to your strength, resilience, and boundless capacity. Embrace the chaos, laugh at the mishaps, and celebrate the small wins. And remember, you're not alone. Join our Femme:Connect Community Page ; it’s a space for us to share the joys, challenges, & hilarious realities of this incredible journey. Connecting with like-minded women can make all the difference. What’s your go-to strategy for managing a mid-webinar nappy change or a strategic planning session interrupted by a tutu-less hamster crisis? Share your tips below – let's learn & laugh together! - Launching Lessons: Turn Launch Flops Into Your Biggest Win
Launching Lessons: Turning a Less-Than-Perfect Launch into Your Biggest Win So, your big launch… didn’t quite go as planned? Honey, you are so not alone! As someone who truly gets the juggle – kids, family, and maybe even sneaking in a PhD chapter while the little one naps (anyone else relate?) – I've been there, done that, got the slightly-too-tight launch T-shirt (because, you know, post-baby body) to prove it. I remember one launch in particular for an online course; the sales page vanished just as the emails went out! Talk about a heart-stopping moment. I learned the hard way about triple-checking tech & having backup plans (always!). Seriously though, that sting of disappointment? I so get it. It can feel especially tough when you’re juggling so much already. Share one win this week below to remind yourself of your progress! Even after starting Femmeprenista, I've had launches that felt like a total flop – one webinar had such terrible tech issues, I almost cried! But it taught me the critical importance of pre-recording key content as a backup. It’s all part of the journey, right? It's easy to spiral into self-doubt. To question everything. To feel like maybe this whole entrepreneurial thing just isn't for you. Trust me, that little voice whispers in my ear too sometimes, usually around 3 am when the baby decides sleep is for the weak. But here's the thing: a less-than-perfect launch isn't a failure. It’s a learning opportunity . A chance to refine, recalibrate, and come back even stronger. Think of it like my school-aged daughter trying to master riding her bike without stabilisers. Weeks of wobbly attempts, a few tears (mostly mine, if I’m honest!), and more than one scraped knee. One memorable attempt involved her cycling straight into a rose bush (don't worry, no major injuries!). Every wobble, every near-miss, brought her closer to that "aha!" moment. Then, one sunny afternoon at the park, click – she just gets it. That initial struggle, the feeling of "almost there," mirrored so many of my own early launch experiences. Was her cycling debut perfect? Absolutely not. But the pure joy on her face, that sense of accomplishment? Priceless. And guess what? The next attempt? Even better. It's often easier to find breakthroughs when the pressure is off & there's an element of fun. My daughter’s bike-riding saga reminds me a lot of what Myron Golden teaches on needing to cease being a seed to become a tree. I’m not talking about literal trees & seeds; I’m talking about transformation! Sometimes, embracing the messy middle is the quickest way to blossom. Your launch might not have been the fireworks display you envisioned, but it's the progress that matters. Those initial wobbles, the unexpected bumps? They're all part of finding your entrepreneurial balance. So, grab your metaphorical helmet (and maybe a large glass of wine – it’s definitely wine o’clock somewhere!), and let’s turn those launching lessons into your biggest win yet. Reframing the "Fail": It's All About Feedback First things first, let's ditch the "fail" label. Seriously, who needs that kind of negativity in their lives? It reminds me of one of the NLP "Beliefs of Excellence" from Sue Knight: “There is no failure, only feedback.” These early experiences, even the ones that make you cringe a little (or a lot!), are valuable data points. They're telling you what needs tweaking, where you can refine your message, & how to better connect with your audience. Remember Simon Sinek’s golden rule, “People don't buy WHAT you do; they buy WHY you do it” ? If your launch felt misaligned or lacked that spark, it might be time to revisit your core purpose. Why are you doing this? What impact do you want to make? Getting crystal clear on your “why” will infuse your entire business – from your marketing message to your sales conversations – with authenticity & attract the right clients. Analyzing the Aftermath: Asking the Right Questions (and Avoiding the Blame Game) Now for the nitty-gritty. Take a deep breath, grab your notebook (or your iPad, if you’re feeling fancy), and let's analyze what happened. Ask yourself: What worked well? (Yes, even in a “less-than-perfect” launch, something usually works!) What didn’t quite hit the mark? Be specific. Was it your messaging? Your pricing? Your launch timing? Did the tech gremlins sabotage your best efforts (because, let’s be real, tech can be a fickle beast)? What feedback did you receive (directly or indirectly) from your audience? Even silence is feedback. What are the biggest lessons you learned? What would you do differently next time? Most importantly, what’s one small, actionable step you can take today to move forward? Avoid the trap of blaming external factors – the algorithm, the economy, Mercury in retrograde (though, let's be honest, sometimes it feels like the planets are conspiring against us!). Yes, external challenges exist, especially for us Millennials juggling the rising cost of everything – I mean, seriously, have you seen the price of a block of cheese lately?! But focusing on what you can control – your mindset, your strategies, your systems – is far more empowering. As Michelle Obama so wisely put it, “When they go low, we go high.” Let’s focus on solutions, not scapegoats. How we become unstuck depends on our ability to face challenges head-on & channel our inner problem-solver – something I had to learn the hard way during my early entrepreneurial days with Nisbett & George. Nisbett & George was a fashion venture I co-founded during university. It taught me a lot about partnerships & the unique challenges of being a mum-preneur (or rather, an entrepreneur who also happens to be a mum!). Adjusting Your Sails: Navigating with the Business Flourish Framework for Foundation Builders This is where the Femmeprenista Business Flourish Framework comes in. Think of it as your entrepreneurial compass, guiding you to build a business that not only thrives but also supports the life you actually want. I've seen firsthand with my clients how transformative this framework can be, helping them move from overwhelm to clarity & consistent progress. One client, after applying the Flair principles, doubled her client inquiries in just two months! You can learn more about the Business Flourish Framework & how it can help you on our website Business Flourish Framework . I built this framework because the journey can feel like a "rollercoaster," but if you know that you can get back up, then you will. My own PhD journey, with two tiny humans underfoot, has definitely felt like a rollercoaster at times. But knowing I'm not alone & focusing on my "why" – building a legacy for my kids – keeps me going. Sharpening Your Mindset: Did your launch feel scattered or lack a clear message? Time to sharpen your focus. Define your ideal client with laser precision. For example, instead of targeting “busy mums,” focus on "ambitious millennial mums who crave flexibility & financial freedom – juggling kids, partners, & maybe even ageing parents who still need support (because let's face it, that’s our generation's reality!)." What are her biggest pain points? What keeps her up at 3 AM (besides the baby needing a feed!)? Is it the pressure of rising childcare costs? The guilt of not being present enough with her kids? The fear that she’s not qualified enough, even with a mountain of experience? Drill down into her deepest desires. What does she really want from your program or service? Is it the confidence to finally charge what she's worth? The freedom to set her own hours and be there for school pick-ups without guilt? The satisfaction of making a real impact while still enjoying a glass of wine at bath time (with the door locked, of course!)? Craft a marketing message that speaks directly to her soul, in her language. Asking yourself, "What are the actions & things we need to do to get to that?" will unlock a clearer path. Elevating Your Marketing: Did your marketing fall flat? Perhaps it didn't resonate with your audience or got lost in the noise. Remember Rory Sutherland's brilliant insight: “Value can be created in the mind every bit as much as it can be created in the factory.” How can you make your offer not just valuable, but irresistible ? Focus on the transformation you provide, the emotional connection you create. Tap into the psychology of her desire – what pain are you solving? What dream are you making a reality? For example, instead of just listing features of your coaching program, paint a vivid picture of the feeling of confidence & control she'll gain – imagine her confidently setting her own prices, saying "no" to projects that drain her energy, & finally taking that dream family vacation without worrying about the budget. Offer a limited-time bonus, like a VIP Q&A session or a personalized business audit, to add perceived value & create a sense of urgency. Perfecting Momentum & Systems: Did your launch feel chaotic or overwhelming? Streamlining your processes & implementing smart systems will save you time, energy, & sanity. This could mean leveraging simple tools like Trello for project management or Calendly for scheduling, so you're not constantly swapping emails like a digital ping-pong game. Maybe consider exploring some of the incredible (and often free!) AI tools available to automate tasks like social media scheduling or email marketing, so your business works for you, even while you're wrangling toddlers or navigating teenage drama. This isn't about becoming a tech whiz overnight (because who has time for that with a toddler clinging to your leg & a teenager demanding screen time?). It’s about finding accessible tools & systems that work for you . Prioritizing Well-being: Feeling drained after your launch? Prioritizing your well-being isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. Remember Lisa Nichols’ powerful reminder: “Your job is to fill your own cup, so it overflows.” Schedule in even 15 minutes of quiet time, a quick walk in nature, or a relaxing bath (with the door locked, of course!). Ensure your business energises rather than drains you. Remember, you can't pour from an empty cup. Powering Up with AI (Fusion): This is the modern magic sauce! AI isn't just a buzzword; it's a powerful tool to amplify your efforts across all areas of your business. For example, use an AI writing assistant to create compelling marketing copy or a chatbot to handle initial customer inquiries, freeing up your time to focus on strategy & client connection – or maybe just grabbing a few minutes to yourself before the kids wake up! From streamlining your marketing to creating efficient systems, AI can be your secret weapon for working smarter, not harder. This frees up your precious time & energy for what truly matters – connecting with your clients, creating impactful content, & being present for your family. As a PhD researcher exploring the intersection of AI & female entrepreneurship, I'm passionate about helping women leverage this tech strategically. AI can help automate those repetitive tasks that drain your energy, like scheduling social media posts or managing your email list, freeing you up to focus on the creative, strategic work you love. Reigniting Your Spark: Celebrating the Small Wins (and Ditching Perfectionism) After a less-than-stellar launch, it's easy to get stuck in a cycle of self-criticism. But what if, instead of focusing on what didn't work, you celebrated what did ? Did you gain a few new followers? Did you receive valuable feedback? Did you learn a crucial lesson that will save you time & heartache down the road? Those are all wins! Remember, my love, entrepreneurship is a marathon, not a sprint (and sometimes it feels like an obstacle course with hurdles made of Lego & sippy cups!). Be kind to yourself. Celebrate the small victories. Embrace the messy, imperfect journey. Perfection is a myth! My own journey is slower, and my path is different because I have four kids & I'm doing a PhD alongside my business, but that doesn’t define me or my potential. It just means I'm navigating my own unique course – like a tortoise in a race full of hares! And speaking of support & community, remember you're not alone. - Authentic Marketing Anti-Burnout 2025: Shine Without the Hustle
Marketing in 2025: Your Authentic, Anti-Burnout Plan to Shine (Without Losing Your Sanity!) Hello lovely Femmeprenistas, Carlene here! And honestly, if you’re anything like me – a CEO, a mum of four (ranging from a brand new baby boy to a nearly-adulting teenager!), a PhD student, & well, a woman trying to keep all the plates spinning – the thought of “new marketing trends for 2025” might send a shiver down your spine. Is it just me, or does it sometimes feel like another giant to-do list designed to make us feel perpetually behind? I remember when I was really focusing on scaling one of my earlier ventures, alongside juggling my MBA with my second daughter then just a baby. The sheer number of ‘must-do’ marketing trends felt like a tidal wave. I felt like I was drowning in advice about everything from Facebook ads to Twitter chats. It’s so easy to get swept up, especially when you’re navigating the beautiful chaos of family life, perhaps like me now with an infant son & a toddler daughter while deep in my PhD research! You simply don’t have the bandwidth for scattergun trial-and-error. But here’s the truth I’ve learned, & what we champion here at Femmeprenista: new trends don’t have to mean more stress. In fact, approached strategically & authentically, they can be powerful allies. So, let’s take a deep breath together, grab a cuppa (or something stronger, no judgement here!), & explore how to make 2025 your most impactful marketing year yet, without the overwhelm. Beyond the Buzzwords: What 2025 Really Means for Your Marketing Alright, let’s get real. The marketing landscape is shifting. We’re hearing a lot about: AI-driven marketing becoming standard – think automation for routine tasks, hyper-personalised customer experiences, super-smart ad spend, & AI chatbots handling many queries. Short-form video (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) continuing to dominate attention spans, driving higher engagement & conversions. In fact, HubSpot reports that short-form videos have the highest ROI of any social media marketing strategy. Professional-quality video being essential for humanising your brand & connecting emotionally (though, a little heads-up, poor production can harm credibility). Micro-influencers & creator collaborations proving highly effective for reaching niche audiences & building that all-important trust. Zero-click searches becoming more common, meaning our content needs to answer questions directly & be conversational for voice & AI-powered search. Genuine sustainability messaging (backed by real action, of course!) resonating deeply as consumers become increasingly values-driven. Multichannel marketing strategies leading to higher revenue & better client retention. Phew! That’s a list. But instead of seeing this as a mountain to climb, I want you to see it as a menu of exciting possibilities. The secret isn’t to do everything , but to choose wisely. Authenticity First, Trends Second: Your Unshakeable Core This is non-negotiable. Before you even think about adopting a new trend, ask yourself: does this align with my core values? Does it help me connect more genuinely with my ‘Soul Client’? If the answer is no, or if it feels forced (like trying to squeeze into pre-pregnancy jeans too soon – we’ve all been there!), then it’s not for you. I recall a time I jumped on a marketing tactic because everyone said it was ‘the thing to do.’ I started a podcast – "FemmeBiz Banter" – because experts said it was great for lead generation. I spent weeks learning the tech, creating ridiculously upbeat intro music that sounded like a 90s sitcom theme song, & lining up interviews. Turns out, I hate the sound of my own voice recorded! My audience, bless them, could sense it, & the results were… well, flat. It was a powerful, if slightly painful, reminder that if it doesn’t feel like ‘me,’ it won’t connect with the amazing women I’m here to serve. True connection, the kind that builds lasting relationships & a thriving business, always starts with authenticity. This really gets to the heart of what we call Flair in our Business Flourish Framework – ensuring your marketing & messaging truly reflect who you are & deeply connect with those you're meant to serve. Understanding your unique purpose is foundational to this; if you're exploring how to align your business with your deepest values, our Spark Program , designed for Foundation Builders (those just validating their idea), might offer some valuable insights. You can discover more about Spark Spark Program Page . Making Smart Choices: Your Anti-Burnout Guide to 2025 Marketing Here at Femmeprenista, our entire ethos is built around holistic success & an absolute rejection of burnout culture. Your marketing should fuel your business & your energy, not drain it. So, how do we pick from that 2025 menu without indigestion? Impact Over Imitation: Quality in a Time-Poor World This is especially crucial for us busy mothers. We don’t have endless hours. So, we need to focus on high-impact activities that deliver real results without demanding an unsustainable “hustle.” It’s about working smarter, integrating thoughtfully chosen strategies into our existing rhythm, not just adding more to our already overflowing plates. Let’s look at some of those key 2025 trends through this strategic, sanity-first lens: 1. Strategic AI for Sanity, Not Stress Okay, AI. It sounds big, maybe even a bit scary. But I want you to reframe AI not as another complex burden, but as your incredibly smart, time-saving assistant. I was a bit sceptical at first myself, worried it was just another complicated tech thing to learn. But then my partner (who, very conveniently, is doing his PhD in generative AI for micro-businesses – talk about handy home resources!) showed me a simple tool that automated a really tedious part of my weekly client communication prep. It genuinely gave me back nearly two hours a week! That’s two hours I can spend on high-level strategy, connecting with my community, or, let’s be perfectly honest, two more hours to attempt to build a LEGO castle that actually stays standing with my six-year-old. Think about it: Automation: Imagine routine emails, social media scheduling, or even initial client query responses being handled efficiently. This isn't about losing the personal touch; it's about freeing you up for the personal touch where it matters most. Hyper-Personalisation: AI can help you tailor messages & offers to individual client needs at scale, making your audience feel truly seen & understood. Smarter Insights: AI can analyse data to show you what’s really working in your marketing, so you can double down on effective strategies & ditch the rest. This is where we see smart systems & AI really come into their own, helping you create that sense of streamlined efficiency & reclaim your precious time so you can focus on what truly matters. It's about finding your flow, & leveraging intelligent tools to support that. One of my clients, who felt constantly overwhelmed by her client onboarding process, started using an AI tool to summarise initial client interviews & draft personalized welcome packs. She told me it felt like she had cloned herself! 2. Video with Purpose: Humanising Your Brand Yes, short-form video is huge, & professional-quality video can create incredible emotional connections. But "professional" doesn't mean Hollywood budget or losing your authenticity. Strategic Short-Form: Don’t just dance on TikTok if it’s not your vibe! How can you use Reels or Shorts to share quick, valuable tips, behind-the-scenes glimpses that build trust, or answer common questions in an engaging way? In fact, according to HubSpot, short-form videos have the highest ROI of any social media marketing strategy. Human Connection Through Video: Longer-form video (like webinars or deeper dives on YouTube) can be amazing for showcasing your expertise & building rapport. The key is to be you . If you’re warm & relatable on video, people will connect. I remember feeling nervous before my first few live workshops, but then I realised people weren't there for a polished performance; they were there for connection & genuine help. When I just focused on serving, the nerves faded. 3. Authentic Collaborations: Reaching Your Soul Clients Micro-influencers & creator collaborations are powerful because they tap into existing trust. Think about partnering with others whose audience aligns with your Soul Client & whose values mirror your own. It’s not about massive numbers; it’s about genuine resonance. 4. Content That Serves: Zero-Click & Conversational Gold With more people getting answers directly from search engine results pages (zero-click searches), your content needs to be incredibly helpful & direct. Think about the questions your ideal clients are actually asking. Answer Directly: Structure blog posts, FAQs, & even social media updates to provide clear, concise answers. Be Conversational: Write like you speak. This not only helps with voice search but also makes your content more relatable & easier to digest. 5. Sustainability That’s Real If sustainability is a core value for you & your business, weave it into your story genuinely. Consumers are savvy; they can spot greenwashing a mile off. But authentic commitment to ethical practices can be a powerful differentiator. Sustainable Packaging: Switch to eco-friendly packaging options (recycled, compostable) for your products, even if it means slightly higher upfront costs. Highlight this choice to your customers. Ethical Suppliers: Partner with suppliers who share your commitment to sustainability, even if it means smaller local businesses. Carbon Offsetting: Donate a percentage of profits to verified carbon offsetting programs. 6. Multichannel with Intention Being multichannel doesn’t mean you have to be everywhere (hello, overwhelm!). It means strategically choosing the 2-3 platforms where your Soul Client genuinely spends her time & engaging there consistently & meaningfully. Quality over quantity, always. Tailoring Your Approach: Marketing for Your Stage & Your Life What works for a global corporation, or even a seasoned entrepreneur with a large team, might not be right for you, especially if you’re just starting out or juggling a young family. Your marketing strategy needs to fit your business stage & your life. This is where understanding the different stages within our Business Flourish Framework becomes so valuable. It’s designed to meet you where you are. Are you a Foundation Builder? Foundation Builders are often just validating their amazing idea, working towards their first consistent clients, or feeling a bit wobbly with the tech. For you, 2025 marketing isn't about mastering every trend. It's about: Nailing your authentic message: Who are you, who do you serve, & what transformation do you offer? Choosing 1-2 simple strategies that feel good: Maybe it’s creating helpful, direct content for your blog & one social media platform where your Soul Client hangs out. Or perhaps exploring a simple AI tool to help with your initial email responses. Focusing on genuine connection: Building those early relationships is key. If this sounds like you, & you're looking for support to build these foundational marketing elements with clarity & confidence, our Spark Program is designed to help you validate your idea & define that core message, while our Launch Programme can guide you in implementing those initial systems & securing your first clients. You can discover how the Launch Programme Page helps you set up essential systems. Are you a Scaling Leader? Scaling Leaders have got traction, an established business, & are looking to grow sustainably & attract those premium clients. For you, 2025 marketing can involve: Sophisticated AI use: Really digging into personalisation, advanced automation for client journeys, & data analysis to refine your strategies. Investing in professional video: Creating a signature video series or high-quality client testimonials that truly capture your brand's essence. Strategic collaborations & partnerships: Leveraging other people’s audiences to expand your reach in a way that feels aligned. Optimising your multichannel presence: Ensuring a cohesive & impactful experience across your chosen platforms. No matter your stage, the principle is the same: select what aligns, what serves your clients best, & what you can implement consistently without sacrificing your well-being. Marketing as Your Fuel, Not Your Drain When your marketing is authentic, strategic, & aligned with who you are & the life you want to live, it stops feeling like a chore. It becomes an energising extension of your purpose. It lights you up because you’re genuinely connecting with people you’re meant to help, sharing your unique gifts, & seeing the impact. This isn’t just about business growth; it’s about personal growth. It’s about cultivating a resilient mindset, knowing that your informed choices will shape your success. It's about ensuring your business energises rather than drains you, prioritising your well-being so you have the energy to show up fully. Your Business, Your Strategy, Your Success The 2025 marketing landscape is full of potential. But remember, you are in the driver’s seat. You get to choose. You get to decide what success looks like for you . This is a core tenet here at Femmeprenista – that deep sense of personal responsibility for how you adapt, how you learn, & how you implement. It’s not about blaming the algorithm or the latest trend; it’s about your proactive, informed response. As Jim Rohn says, “Don’t let your learning lead to knowledge. Let your learning lead to action.” My invitation to you is to approach 2025 with curiosity, not fear. Choose trends that amplify your authenticity, respect your precious time, & genuinely help you serve your Soul Clients more deeply. As Roxie Nafousi says, "Every time you overcome a test you make a decision that is in alignment with your future self." Ready to Make 2025 Your Most Authentically Powerful Marketing Year? I know this is a lot to take in, & navigating these shifts while running a business & for many of us, a busy household, can feel daunting. But you don’t have to do it alone.
