Of course, abundance is a part of it – the freedom it provides is undeniable. But true richness, for me, is a holistic blend: it’s the joy of deep connection with my family, the ability to create unforgettable experiences, the intellectual stimulation of my PhD research, the satisfaction of making a genuine impact, & yes, the peace of mind that comes with financial security. With four children – from my dynamic teenage daughter navigating her GCSEs in performing arts, to my wonderfully inquisitive six-year-old, my determined two-year-old toddler, and my precious new infant son who has just joined our beautifully chaotic world – the concept of legacy has taken on an even deeper, more urgent meaning. Honestly, it was actually a quiet moment with my eldest recently. She wasn't asking about profit margins or marketing strategies. She asked, in that uniquely direct way teenagers have, what I hoped all this hard work, all this striving, would really mean for them, for their future. It was a punch to the heart in the best possible way.

I used to think legacy was just about money, but I almost missed passing on my values until that moment.
