That’s a question I asked myself a lot. In fact, in the early days of Femmeprenista, I thought I could build my business alone, without really fostering a strong community. Big mistake! It felt like shouting into the void. And it’s precisely why, from a deeply personal place, Femme:Connect was born. It’s not just another Facebook group to add to your already overwhelming list. It’s the vibrant, free, & wonderfully inclusive global community that sits right at the core of everything we do here at Femmeprenista. It’s our way of saying, “We see you, we hear you, & darling, you are not alone in this.”

From My Heart to Yours: The "Why" Behind Our Tribe

Let me take you back a bit. My own entrepreneurial path, much like yours I’m sure, has been a wonderfully winding one, full of incredible highs & let's be honest, moments where I’ve wanted to hide under the duvet with a family-sized bar of chocolate. One of the most pivotal experiences in my early adult life was finding my academic & personal fit at the University of East London (UEL). After a less-than-stellar start at another university where I just didn't click, UEL felt like coming home. I found my ‘tribe’ – people who understood me, challenged me, & cheered me on. That sense of belonging, of being in the right environment, was utterly transformative. It allowed me to thrive, even as a young mother navigating my degree with my first daughter. I’ve also known the sting of feeling like you can't ask the "silly" question. I remember moving to a private school mid-year as a child & feeling so behind, so terrified of looking foolish, that it knocked my confidence for a loop. It took fierce advocacy from my father, literally shouting down teachers who were telling me to pipe down, to help me start finding my voice again. Those experiences – the power of the right tribe & the pain of feeling silenced – they stick with you.

As I navigated the corporate world, then dived headfirst into entrepreneurship (more than once!), & juggled it all with raising my four amazing children, I saw so many brilliant women wrestling with the same demons: isolation, self-doubt, the fear of not knowing enough, or the feeling that no one trulytruly understood the pressure cooker of ambition, motherhood, & business building. I saw women trying to figure out how to align their marketing so it genuinely attracts their dream clients, or how to build systems that actually give them back time rather than adding to the overwhelm, all while trying to keep their own energy levels from flatlining. These are the core elements we now teach within The Business Flourish Framework / How We Work, because they are fundamental to holistic success.

I knew there had to be a better way. A place where ambition was celebrated, questions were welcomed (no, encouraged!), & the beautiful chaos was shared, not hidden.
